this_o will_v be_v sufficient_a of_o itself_o to_o exclude_v another_o priest_n yet_o it_o follow_v so_o much_o the_o more_o if_o not_o only_a perfection_n be_v by_o the_o leviticall_a priesthood_n but_o also_o that_o priesthood_n be_v establish_v by_o the_o law_n and_o of_o this_o reason_n we_o most_o approve_v therefore_o it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o the_o author_n have_v say_v if_o perfection_n be_v by_o the_o leviticall_a priesthood_n especial_o see_v concern_v it_o law_n be_v give_v to_o the_o people_n what_o need_n be_v there_o for_o the_o ordination_n of_o another_o priest_n a_o carnal_a mortal_a and_o frail_a priest_n that_o after_o a_o little_a time_n shall_v need_v a_o successor_n but_o a_o most_o potent_a priest_n that_o have_v a_o absolute_a power_n a_o eternal_a priest_n that_o have_v a_o endless_a life_n for_o to_o this_o sense_n that_o which_o follow_v do_v excellent_o agree_v 17._o for_o he_o testify_v thou_o be_v a_o priest_n for_o ever_o after_o the_o order_n of_o melchisedec_n q.d._n therefore_o i_o say_v that_o the_o priest_n after_o the_o order_n of_o melchisedec_n be_v a_o eternal_a priest_n because_o god_n open_o testify_v it_o when_o he_o what_o can_v he_o else_o hope_v for_o if_o he_o be_v a_o impostor_n but_o if_o christ_n be_v no_o way_n conscious_a to_o himself_o of_o any_o fraud_n or_o falsehood_n but_o suffer_v death_n to_o assert_v his_o doctrine_n who_o see_v not_o but_o he_o must_v needs_o be_v void_a of_o all_o offence_n for_o if_o his_o doctrine_n be_v false_a it_o must_v needs_o be_v feign_v of_o himself_o for_o he_o public_o profess_v that_o he_o have_v see_v the_o father_n have_v receive_v command_n from_o he_o and_o be_v send_v from_o he_o into_o the_o world_n that_o he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o the_o king_n of_o god_n people_n which_o god_n have_v promise_v long_o before_o now_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v false_a how_o can_v christ_n be_v ignorant_a of_o their_o falsehood_n but_o if_o he_o know_v they_o to_o be_v false_a whence_o can_v he_o have_v such_o a_o contempt_n of_o death_n for_o the_o assert_v of_o they_o whence_o can_v he_o have_v such_o a_o invincible_a constancy_n and_o courage_n of_o mind_n see_v therefore_o we_o have_v jesus_n a_o surety_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n attest_v with_o so_o many_o document_n of_o the_o truth_n shall_v we_o doubt_v to_o join_v our_o his_o promise_n to_o we_o by_o christ_n himself_o in_o which_o action_n the_o priesthood_n of_o christ_n do_v chief_o consist_v for_o christ_n as_o he_o be_v a_o priest_n do_v now_o in_o heaven_n nothing_o more_o intentive_o then_o to_o perform_v god_n promise_n unto_o we_o i._n he_o take_v away_o all_o punishment_n of_o our_o sin_n he_o endowe_n we_o with_o god_n gift_n and_o grace_n and_o latter_a word_n of_o this_o verse_n wherein_o the_o author_n show_v the_o reason_n of_o this_o as_o we_o shall_v show_v there_o able_a to_o save_v this_o salvation_n in_o reference_n to_o christ_n be_v in_o itself_o as_o we_o say_v most_o perfect_a and_o absolute_a for_o christ_n save_v we_o as_o he_o take_v away_o all_o the_o guilt_n and_o punishment_n of_o all_o our_o sin_n as_o he_o
