do_v their_o deliberation_n in_o the_o late_a be_v more_o hard_a and_o therefore_o in_o as_o much_o as_o they_o do_v resolve_v to_o remove_v only_o such_o thing_n of_o that_o kind_n as_o the_o church_n may_v best_o spare_v retain_v the_o residue_n their_o whole_a counsel_n be_v in_o this_o point_n utter_o condemn_v as_o have_v either_o proceed_v from_o the_o blindness_n of_o those_o time_n or_o from_o negligence_n or_o from_o desire_n of_o honour_n and_o glory_n or_o from_o a_o erroneous_a opinion_n that_o such_o thing_n may_v be_v tolerate_v for_o a_o while_n or_o if_o it_o do_v proceed_v as_o they_o which_o will_v seem_v most_o favourable_a be_v content_a to_o think_v it_o possible_a from_o a_o purpose_n partly_o the_o easy_o to_o draw_v papist_n unto_o the_o gospel_n by_o keep_v so_o many_o order_n still_o the_o same_o with_o they_o thereby_o and_o partly_o to_o redeem_v peace_n thereby_o the_o breach_n whereof_o they_o may_v fear_v will_v ensue_v upon_o more_o offensive_a and_o scandalous_a all_o be_v bring_v at_o the_o length_n unto_o that_o wherein_o now_o we_o stand_v or_o be_v it_o amiss_o that_o have_v this_o way_n ease_v the_o church_n as_o they_o think_v of_o superfluity_n they_o go_v not_o on_o till_o they_o have_v pluck_v up_o even_o those_o thing_n also_o which_o have_v take_v a_o great_a deal_n strong_a and_o deep_a root_n those_o thing_n which_o to_o abrogate_v without_o constraint_n of_o manifest_a harm_n thereby_o arise_v have_v be_v to_o alter_v unnecessary_o in_o their_o judgement_n the_o ancient_a receive_a custom_n of_o the_o whole_a church_n the_o universal_a practice_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o those_o very_a decree_n of_o our_o father_n which_o be_v not_o only_o set_v down_o by_o agreement_n of_o general_a counsel_n but_o have_v according_o be_v put_v in_o ure_n and_o so_o continue_v in_o use_n till_o that_o very_a time_n present_a true_a it_o be_v that_o neither_o counsel_n nor_o custom_n be_v they_o never_o so_o ancient_a and_o so_o general_a can_v let_v the_o church_n from_o take_v away_o that_o thing_n which_o be_v hurtful_a to_o be_v retain_v where_o thing_n have_v be_v institute_v which_o be_v convenient_a and_o good_a at_o the_o first_o do_v afterward_o in_o process_n of_o time_n wax_v otherwise_o we_o make_v no_o doubt_n but_o they_o may_v be_v alter_v â—0_n yea_o though_o counsel_n or_o custom_n general_a have_v receive_v they_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v but_o a_o needle_n kind_a of_o opposition_n which_o they_o make_v who_o thus_o dispute_n if_o in_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v not_o express_v in_o the_o scripture_n that_o be_v to_o be_v observe_v of_o the_o church_n which_o be_v the_o custom_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o decree_n of_o our_o forefather_n then_o how_o can_v these_o thing_n at_o any_o time_n be_v vary_v which_o heretofore_o have_v be_v once_o ordain_v in_o such_o sort_n whereto_o we_o say_v that_o thing_n so_o ordain_v be_v to_o be_v keep_v howbeit_o not_o necessary_o any_o long_o then_o till_o there_o grow_v some_o urgent_a cause_n to_o ordain_v the_o contrary_n for_o there_o be_v not_o any_o positive_a law_n of_o man_n whether_o it_o be_v general_a or_o particular_a receive_v by_o formal_a express_a consent_n as_o in_o counsel_n or_o by_o secret_a approbation_n as_o in_o custom_n it_o come_v to_o pass_v but_o the_o same_o may_v be_v take_v away_o it_o occasion_n serve_v even_o as_o we_o all_o know_v that_o many_o thing_n general_o keep_v heretofore_o 11â—_n be_v now_o in_o like_a sort_n general_o unkept_a and_o abolish_v every_o where_o notwithstanding_o
