it_o will_v be_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o the_o more_o liberal_o reward_v according_a to_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n 2_o cor._n 9_o 6._o he_o that_o sow_v bountiful_o shall_v reap_v which_o way_n will_v my_o meekness_n then_o direct_v i_o to_o propend_v c._n that_o which_o must_v then_o direct_v i_o be_v my_o own_o conscience_n to_o take_v to_o that_o which_o seem_v to_o i_o that_o which_o i_o be_o convince_v be_v true_a but_o yet_o before_o i_o be_o thus_o convince_v my_o meekness_n will_v give_v i_o its_o direction_n not_o to_o rely_v too_o overweening_o on_o my_o own_o judgement_n but_o to_o compare_v myself_o with_o other_o man_n my_o equal_n but_o especial_o my_o superior_n and_o to_o have_v great_a jealousy_n of_o any_o my_o own_o singular_a opinion_n which_o be_v represent_v to_o other_o as_o judicious_a as_o my_o self_n together_o with_o the_o reason_n that_o have_v persuade_v i_o to_o they_o do_v not_o to_o they_o prove_v persuasive_a nay_o after_o i_o be_o convince_v my_o meekness_n may_v again_o move_v i_o to_o hearken_v to_o other_o reason_n that_o other_o man_n judge_v more_o prevail_a and_o if_o occasion_n be_v to_o reverse_v my_o former_a the_o quiet_a peaceable_a live_n with_o other_o without_o strife_n and_o debate_n without_o punishment_n and_o execution_n that_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o the_o seditious_a turbulent_a disobedient_a spirit_n which_o be_v the_o meaning_n undoubted_o of_o the_o promise_n in_o the_o psalmist_n the_o meek_a shall_v inherit_v the_o earth_n i._n e._n shall_v general_o have_v the_o rich_a portion_n of_o the_o good_a thing_n of_o this_o life_n from_o whence_o this_o place_n in_o the_o gospel_n be_v take_v though_o it_o may_v be_v accommodate_v to_o a_o spiritual_a sense_n by_o interpret_n the_o the_o jew_n a_o type_n and_o to_o they_o that_o obey_v a_o pledge_n of_o the_o eternal_a so_o the_o earth_n here_o a_o real_a inheritance_n below_o and_o a_o pawn_n of_o another_o above_o and_o this_o be_v the_o meek_a man_n advantage_n above_o many_o other_o duty_n a_o double_a canaan_n be_v think_v little_a enough_o for_o he_o the_o same_o felicity_n in_o a_o manner_n attend_v he_o which_o we_o believe_v of_o adam_n if_o he_o have_v not_o fall_v a_o life_n in_o paradise_n and_o from_o thence_o a_o transplantation_n to_o heaven_n the_o like_a we_o read_v of_o they_o that_o part_n with_o any_o thing_n dear_a to_o they_o for_o christ_n sake_n or_o in_o obedience_n to_o christ_n command_n which_o i_o conceive_v belong_v especial_o to_o the_o liberal_a mind_a man_n he_o shall_v have_v a_o hundred_o fold_n more_o in_o this_o life_n and_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v everlasting_a life_n and_o unless_o it_o be_v here_o to_o the_o meek_a or_o to_o godliness_n in_o general_a 1_o tim._n 4._o 8._o we_o meet_v not_o with_o any_o other_o temporal_a promise_n in_o the_o new_a testament_n which_o may_v therefore_o be_v resolve_v very_o well_o to_o be_v parallel_v to_o that_o other_o not_o only_o in_o the_o hundred_o fold_n or_o inheritance_n in_o this_o life_n but_o in_o that_o other_o also_o of_o another_o life_n beside_o other_o place_n of_o scripture_n there_o be_v that_o intimate_v the_o future_a reward_n of_o the_o meek_a as_o where_o it_o be_v say_v to_o be_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n of_o great_a price_n and_o that_o if_o we_o learn_v of_o christ_n to_o be_v meek_a we_o shall_v find_v rest_n to_o our_o soul_n and_o even_o here_o the_o blessedness_n in_o the_o front_n note_v present_a blessedness_n can_v right_o do_v so_o if_o there_o be_v no_o future_a reward_n also_o belong_v to_o it_o it_o be_v a_o curse_n no_o blessing_n to_o have_v our_o good_a thing_n with_o dives_n or_o with_o the_o hypocrite_n our_o reward_n in_o this_o life_n and_o none_o to_o
