fit_a it_o shall_v receive_v some_o light_n from_o a_o determination_n in_o parliament_n that_o judge_n may_v judge_v by_o more_o certain_a rule_n which_o act_v of_o parliament_n the_o king_n may_v and_o which_o he_o may_v not_o dispense_v with_o grant_v his_o premise_n and_o there_o can_v be_v no_o darkness_n in_o it_o for_o the_o power_n will_v extend_v to_o all_o case_n as_o far_o as_o the_o legislative_a do_v and_o that_o he_o have_v determine_v positive_o in_o this_o point_n 8._o when_o he_o make_v all_o thing_n not_o forbid_v by_o god_n law_n to_o be_v dispensible_a by_o the_o king_n nay_o if_o he_o may_v dispense_v with_o every_o malum_fw-la prohibitum_fw-la that_o be_v not_o malum_fw-la in_o se_fw-la without_o such_o qualification_n as_o i_o have_v show_v aught_o to_o be_v it_o will_v go_v far_o even_o as_o far_o as_o god_n power_n sit_fw-la who_o never_o dispense_v with_o more_o than_o his_o own_o positive_a law_n not_o such_o as_o be_v found_v upon_o eternal_a reason_n and_o thus_o the_o positive_a law_n of_o god_n and_o man_n will_v be_v subject_a to_o the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o prince_n 2._o he_o have_v take_v it_o out_o of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o parliament_n infer_v for_o this_o imply_v that_o it_o be_v but_o the_o remain_n of_o a_o power_n diminish_v and_o impair_v 3._o his_o print_a and_o parol_n resolution_n be_v not_o only_o very_o different_a as_o be_v obvious_a by_o the_o comparison_n but_o very_o contrary_a 37._o one_o say_v it_o be_v a_o dark_a learning_n the_o other_o the_o case_n be_v as_o clear_a as_o ever_o come_v before_o the_o court._n dly_z though_o his_o insincerity_n be_v sufficient_o evident_a from_o every_o part_n of_o his_o defence_n yet_o it_o may_v not_o be_v unprofitable_a for_o the_o public_a that_o he_o shall_v be_v follow_v to_o those_o instance_n in_o which_o he_o glory_v for_o which_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o he_o to_o show_v some_o one_o act_n wherein_o he_o be_v singular_a if_o he_o follow_v the_o multitude_n to_o sin_n in_o other_o even_o of_o the_o same_o kind_n which_o if_o he_o do_v he_o can_v no_o more_o acquit_v himself_o of_o perjury_n and_o breach_n of_o trust_n 1._o than_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o taint_a herd_n 28._o in_o matter_n of_o blood_n he_o affect_v the_o reputation_n of_o great_a tenderness_n and_o think_v he_o have_v be_v scrupulous_a even_o to_o a_o fault_n for_o say_v he_o in_o some_o case_n upon_o statute_n that_o have_v be_v adjudge_v felony_n by_o wise_a and_o better_a judge_n than_o myself_o and_o it_o be_v high_o for_o the_o king_n service_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v so_o yet_o i_o will_v never_o give_v judgement_n of_o death_n because_o i_o can_v not_o satisfy_v my_o conscience_n that_o those_o statute_n be_v now_o in_o force_n it_o be_v a_o fault_n it_o seem_v not_o to_o give_v judgement_n against_o his_o conscience_n when_o the_o narrow_a interest_n of_o the_o court_n exact_v it_o and_o other_o judge_n influence_v from_o thence_o will_v countenance_v it_o but_o we_o may_v observe_v that_o those_o statute_n concern_v soldier_n sea._n of_o which_o he_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v not_o only_o give_v no_o warrant_n for_o such_o judgement_n as_o be_v obvious_a to_o the_o mean_a capacity_n but_o if_o they_o can_v admit_v of_o any_o question_n the_o unbiased_a judgement_n of_o the_o then_o recorder_n of_o london_n sir_n john_n holt_n aught_o to_o outweigh_v the_o whole_a bench._n but_o i_o wish_v our_o chief_a justice_n can_v as_o well_o acquit_v himself_o in_o the_o case_n of_o the_o lord_n brandon_n the_o father_n heroic_a merit_n of_o the_o crown_n too_o great_a to_o be_v reward_v and_o the_o son_n be_v hereditary_a valour_n dangerous_a to_o those_o who_o have_v reason_n to_o fear_v brave_a spirit_n occasion_v the_o rigorous_a prosecution_n of_o both_o the_o father_n be_v oblige_v to_o change_v his_o soil_n till_o it_o may_v become_v more_o equal_a not_o unmindful_a of_o our_o saviour_n advice_n or_o rather_o precept_n when_o persecute_v in_o one_o country_n to_o flee_v into_o another_o that_o though_o he_o contemn_v death_n he_o may_v not_o provoke_v it_o death_n the_o son_n fall_v into_o their_o hand_n both_o his_o life_n and_o honour_n which_o the_o severe_a trial_n approve_v to_o be_v most_o value_v by_o he_o be_v design_v for_o a_o sacrifice_n in_o subserviency_n to_o which_o our_o chief_a
