t._n m._n chap._n v._o concernine_v the_o sin_n of_o covetousness_n the_o nature_n of_o which_o lust_n or_o devil_n lu_v to_o covet_v after_o that_o which_o god_n have_v express_o forbid_v namely_o the_o tree_n of_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_n which_o cause_v man_n to_o become_v as_o god_n who_o eye_n be_v open_v against_o themselves_o to_o perceive_v the_o tree_n good_a for_o food_n and_o pleasant_a to_o the_o eye_n and_o a_o tree_n to_o make_v one_o wise_a therefore_o do_v they_o covet_v after_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o tree_n and_o greedy_o eat_v of_o it_o not_o consider_v how_o they_o eat_v death_n and_o die_v to_o god_n as_o adam_n do_v even_o so_o be_v it_o with_o every_o man_n that_o be_v not_o plant_v into_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n and_o new_o bear_v of_o christ_n regenerate_v and_o bring_v forth_o by_o the_o immortal_a seed_n the_o word_n of_o god_n the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n and_o seed_n of_o his_o kingdom_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a covet_v after_o the_o perish_a thing_n of_o this_o world_n thereby_o to_o enrich_v themselves_o therewith_o contrary_a to_o what_o god_n have_v command_v first_o to_o seek_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o the_o righteousness_n thereof_o unto_o which_o be_v the_o promise_n of_o add_v all_o other_o thing_n for_o as_o the_o promise_n be_v on_o condition_n to_o adam_n to_o do_v and_o live_v so_o have_v it_o be_v my_o god_n so_o that_o the_o doer_n of_o the_o law_n be_v they_o and_o only_o they_o that_o keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o by_o faith_n in_o he_o be_v the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n impute_v to_o they_o for_o righteousness_n so_o not_o in_o this_o gospel_n day_n christ_n be_v give_v for_o a_o light_n to_o lighten_v the_o gentile_n and_o for_o salvation_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o earth_n that_o whosoever_o will_v believe_v in_o he_o may_v not_o perish_v but_o have_v the_o light_n of_o life_n therefore_o as_o christ_n have_v dye_v for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n that_o every_o man_n in_o the_o world_n may_v be_v leave_v without_o excuse_n god_n have_v give_v unto_o they_o a_o gift_n of_o divine_a light_n which_o be_v to_o they_o a_o talon_n and_o seed_n of_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n as_o be_v elsewhere_o call_v the_o ●ord_n of_o faith_n be_v a_o manifestation_n of_o the_o spirît_fw-fr give_v to_o every_o man_n to_o profit_v withal_o which_o life_n renew_v which_o cause_v the_o seed_n to_o grow_v and_o make_v rich_a the_o berren_a land_n through_o purge_v out_o the_o old_a leaven_n that_o the_o new_a lump_n may_v take_v place_n which_o bring_v forth_o holy_a fruit_n abundant_o to_o god_n so_o that_o the_o child_n of_o she_o that_o be_v barren_a now_o bring_v forth_o and_o become_v many_o and_o thus_o do_v the_o faithful_a grow_v who_o covet_v after_o the_o better_a part_n namely_o to_o fear_n god_n and_o work_n righteousness_n to_o 〈◊〉_d just_o love_v mercy_n and_o walk_v humble_o do_v no_o other_o thing_n to_o any_o then_o as_o themselves_o will_v be_v do_v unto_o this_o be_v the_o law_n and_o the_o prophet_n and_o also_o what_o god_n have_v command_v for_o all_o man_n to_o do_v in_o this_o day_n that_o they_o may_v come_v to_o partake_v of_o his_o promise_n to_o grow_v in_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n from_o grace_n to_o grace_n until_o by_o grace_n the_o work_n of_o god_n in_o they_o be_v whole_o perfect_v but_o these_o thing_n be_v to_o a_o covetous_a man_n even_o as_o the_o wise_a charmeer_n be_v to_o the_o deaf_a adder_n for_o have_v ear_n to_o hear_v they_o hear_v not_o to_o receive_v the_o truth_n in_o the_o love_n of_o it_o because_o the_o love_n of_o money_n be_v their_o pride_n in_o which_o they_o delight_v to_o become_v wise_a rich_a and_o what_o not_o in_o the_o perish_a thing_n of_o this_o life_n here_o cove●ous_a man_n grow_v from_o one_o covetous_a desire_n to_o another_o until_o through_o pride_n and_o covetousness_n they_o come_v to_o ●all_n as_o angel_n have_v do_v and_o yet_o may_v remain_v as_o many_o covetous_a usurer_n do_v who_o have_v clothe_v themselves_o with_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n word_n that_o thereby_o they_o may_v appear_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o m●n_z to_o be_v know_v prudent_a and_o wise_a and_o account_v man_n of_o good_a reason_n yea_o and_o withal_o religious_a and_o righteous_a whenas_o indeed_o it_o be_v but_o their_o own_o work_n and_o the_o righteousness_n thereof_o which_o be_v as_o filththy_a rag_n and_o fig-leave_a garment_n of_o unrightecusness_n wherewith_o they_o vain_o seek_v to_o hide_v themselves_o from_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n who_o all_o see_a eye_n behold_v the_o way_n of_o every_o covetous_a man_n set_v up_o for_o himself_o to_o walk_v in_o for_o which_o cause_n god_n that_o search_v the_o heart_n and_o know_v the_o intent_n of_o the_o mind_n and_o check_n reprove_v and_o condemn_v for_o every_o vain_a thought_n evil_a intent_n and_o idle_a word_n and_o unrighteous_a work_n for_o which_o cause_n often_o time_n covetous_a and_o proud_a unrighteous_a man_n and_o woman_n fall_v into_o such_o condemnation_n by_o the_o power_n of_o god_n that_o they_o even_o despair_v of_o mercy_n yea_o the_o horror_n of_o their_o condemnation_n be_v such_o that_o priest_n nor_o levit_fw-la nor_o the_o dark_a watchman_n of_o the_o night_n can_v afford_v no_o help_n to_o the_o wound_n of_o a_o trouble_a conscience_n in_o which_o state_n of_o a_o wound_a spirit_n who_o can_v bear_v which_o for_o remedy_n the_o physician_n of_o no_o value_n be_v set_v to_o work_v who_o in_o his_o own_o will_n
