pleasure_n wife_n child_n and_o every_o needful_a thing_n then_o shall_v you_o find_v it_o true_a which_o the_o prophet_n david_n assure_v you_o psal_n 84._o no_o good_a thing_n shall_v he_o hear_v ill_o they_o that_o be_v famous_a and_o of_o renoun_n have_v péevish_a pesaunt_n to_o disgrace_v they_o who_o tongue_n be_v never_o exercise_v in_o say_v well_o this_o be_v a_o sorrow_n which_o must_v be_v endure_v and_o furthermore_o thou_o must_v pray_v for_o they_o and_o bless_v they_o which_o bring_v this_o sorrow_n upon_o thou_o and_o so_o overcome_v they_o which_o by_o no_o other_o mean_n text_n the_o particular_a sorrow_n of_o persecution_n which_o be_v especial_o mean_v in_o this_o text_n can_v be_v win_v but_o above_o all_o sorrow_n on_o the_o earth_n there_o seem_v none_o to_o be_v compare_v to_o the_o loss_n of_o life_n for_o life_n be_v sweet_a yet_o this_o be_v the_o sorrow_n which_o here_o be_v mean_v and_o in_o this_o place_n command_v and_o which_o we_o must_v endure_v if_o we_o look_v to_o be_v the_o heir_n of_o heaven_n as_o the_o apostle_n witness_v write_v to_o the_o roman_n who_o put_v they_o in_o mind_n of_o great_a privilege_n do_v also_o persuade_v they_o to_o the_o patient_a endure_v of_o all_o trouble_n and_o persecution_n if_o you_o be_v child_n you_o be_v heir_n if_o heir_n the_o heir_n of_o god_n and_o fellow_n heir_n with_o christ_n if_o so_o be_v you_o suffer_v with_o he_o that_o you_o may_v also_o be_v glory_v with_o he_o you_o shall_v weep_v and_o lament_v because_o that_o gréevous_a persecution_n be_v your_o lot_n and_o the_o loss_n of_o life_n the_o thing_n that_o you_o must_v look_v for_o and_o how_o can_v it_o but_o make_v frail_a flesh_n to_o weep_v and_o lament_v see_v that_o to_o live_v be_v the_o great_a joy_n in_o the_o world_n and_o nothing_o more_o against_o our_o nature_n then_o to_o hear_v of_o persecution_n and_o of_o death_n and_o no_o marvel_n though_o the_o disciple_n and_o the_o godly_a shed_v tear_n when_o this_o matter_n cause_v our_o saviour_n christ_n jesus_n through_o anguish_n of_o mind_n to_o sweat_v blood_n and_o be_v how_o backward_o by_o nature_n we_o be_v in_o this_o business_n &_o how_o ready_a we_o shall_v be_v to_o desire_v that_o this_o cup_n may_v pass_v from_o he_o in_o the_o apostle_n s_o peter_n we_o may_v perceive_v the_o mind_n of_o a_o natural_a man_n loath_a to_o undertake_v so_o great_a a_o matter_n who_o when_o he_o hear_v christ_n our_o saviour_n to_o foretell_v of_o his_o persecution_n and_o death_n say_v that_o he_o must_v go_v to_o jerusalem_n and_o suffer_v many_o thing_n of_o the_o elder_n and_o of_o the_o high_a priest_n &_o scribe_n and_o be_v slay_v then_o do_v he_o take_v he_o aside_o and_o begin_v to_o rebuke_v he_o say_v master_n pity_v thyself_o this_o thing_n shall_v not_o be_v unto_o thou_o but_o so_o far_o off_o be_v it_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v loath_a and_o tardy_a that_o we_o shall_v be_v most_o forward_o
