compassion_n be_v the_o peculiar_a affect_v of_o mercy_n if_o i_o forgive_v my_o enemy_n i_o have_v mercy_n on_o myself_o for_o to_o he_o that_o forgive_v much_o also_o shall_v be_v forgive_v but_o if_o i_o have_v compassion_n on_o the_o distress_a i_o have_v pity_n on_o my_o saviour_n for_o it_o be_v he_o i_o feed_v i_o clothe_v in_o the_o person_n of_o the_o hungry_a and_o of_o the_o naked_a god_n have_v give_v unto_o man_n a_o nature_n which_o incline_v they_o unto_o pity_n and_o therefore_o cruelty_n be_v a_o vice_n of_o the_o will_v his_o beget_n since_o than_o nature_n have_v no_o inclination_n bad_a enough_o out_o of_o which_o it_o may_v spawn_n so_o vile_a a_o brood_n i_o will_v not_o be_v at_o so_o much_o pain_n as_o to_o force_v the_o soil_n that_o a_o weed_n may_v grow_v nor_o love_v that_o sin_n which_o will_v not_o be_v entertain_v unless_o i_o disclaim_v my_o nature_n god_n once_o command_v sacrifice_n that_o he_o may_v have_v mercy_n upon_o man_n and_o yet_o he_o be_v willing_a to_o have_v spare_v they_o that_o if_o they_o will_v have_v spare_v one_o another_o i_o will_v have_v mercy_n and_o not_o sacrifice_n be_v his_o demand_n of_o old_a but_o now_o much_o more_o for_o since_o he_o have_v take_v away_o the_o law_n of_o sacrifice_n it_o remain_v that_o we_o employ_v all_o our_o obedience_n in_o the_o observance_n of_o that_o law_n which_o be_v leave_v behind_o which_o be_v the_o law_n of_o charity_n god_n have_v abate_v something_o of_o his_o own_o worship_n that_o we_o may_v have_v more_o leisure_n to_o perform_v those_o duty_n which_o respect_v one_o another_o if_o we_o will_v have_v god_n commune_v with_o we_o as_o once_o he_o do_v with_o the_o jew_n from_o his_o mercy-seat_n it_o will_v be_v first_o require_v of_o we_o that_o like_o the_o cherubin_n there_o place_v we_o carry_v our_o face_n one_o towards_o another_o not_o turn_v aside_o from_o the_o distress_a nor_o oblique_o glance_v upon_o any_o as_o averse_a from_o peace_n god_n seem_v to_o instruct_v we_o by_o that_o fabric_n in_o the_o ark_n that_o he_o than_o make_v his_o approach_n to_o we_o from_o his_o mercy-seat_n when_o we_o turn_v face_n to_o face_n that_o be_v when_o we_o be_v alike_o mind_v one_o towards_o another_o god_n that_o he_o may_v reconcile_v his_o justice_n to_o his_o mercy_n and_o so_o save_v the_o delinquent_a creature_n become_v severe_a to_o himself_o so_o much_o he_o love_v we_o that_o he_o seem_v to_o
