those_o nature_n which_o be_v to_o be_v reconcile_v observe_v it_o well_o christ_n who_o be_v to_o be_v the_o reconciler_n his_o business_n be_v to_o reconcile_v god_n and_o man_n between_o who_o there_o be_v so_o vast_a a_o breach_n now_o to_o the_o end_n that_o he_o may_v be_v fit_a for_o this_o work_n and_o reconcile_v these_o two_o god_n and_o man_n he_o partake_v of_o both_o nature_n and_o be_v become_v by_o unite_n the_o nature_n of_o man_n which_o he_o take_v to_o himself_o into_o personal_a union_n with_o the_o godhead_n both_o god_n and_o man_n and_o have_v the_o nature_n of_o they_o both_o he_o have_v interest_n in_o they_o both_o he_o have_v interest_n in_o god_n the_o father_n as_o be_v the_o same_o god_n coequal_a with_o the_o father_n though_o not_o the_o same_o in_o a_o personal_a regard_n but_o the_o same_o god_n with_o the_o father_n and_o he_o have_v interest_n likewise_o in_o man_n as_o he_o have_v the_o same_o nature_n with_o he_o and_o thus_o he_o partake_v right_v and_o this_o god_n justice_n call_v for_o and_o thus_o stand_v the_o term_n between_o god_n and_o man_n man_n have_v wrong_v god_n and_o god_n and_o he_o be_v now_o at_o variance_n and_o god_n stand_v upon_o it_o and_o be_v resolve_v with_o himself_o thus_o though_o i_o be_v willing_a to_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o they_o yet_o i_o will_v be_v at_o peace_n with_o they_o so_o as_o i_o will_v have_v the_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v make_v up_o my_o justice_n shall_v be_v full_o and_o complete_o satisfy_v i_o must_v be_v right_v for_o i_o be_o god_n and_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v such_o a_o flaw_n remain_v in_o my_o justice_n to_o eternity_n as_o that_o such_o and_o such_o creature_n shall_v sin_v against_o i_o and_o i_o pass_v it_o by_o without_o have_v any_o satisfaction_n for_o say_v god_n this_o will_v be_v a_o flaw_n in_o my_o justice_n for_o ever_o and_o that_o i_o will_v not_o have_v and_o therefore_o i_o will_v be_v right_v in_o that_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v i_o by_o the_o fall_n of_o man._n it_o be_v true_a when_o one_o man_n come_v to_o treat_v about_o peace_n and_o reconciliation_n with_o another_o it_o be_v sometime_o necessary_a for_o he_o to_o pass_v by_o a_o offence_n without_o any_o satisfaction_n at_o all_o especial_o when_o that_o poor_a creature_n that_o have_v offend_v be_v not_o able_a to_o make_v satisfaction_n but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o between_o god_n and_o man_n though_o one_o man_n be_v at_o variance_n with_o another_o when_o he_o see_v that_o he_o that_o have_v do_v he_o the_o wrong_n can_v make_v satisfaction_n he_o than_o be_v indeed_o to_o pass_v it_o by_o but_o god_n mercy_n do_v never_o work_v after_o that_o manner_n though_o the_o mercy_n in_o a_o man_n may_v work_v he_o to_o such_o a_o reconciliation_n and_o though_o god_n be_v a_o god_n of_o infinite_a mercy_n infinite_o more_o merciful_a than_o any_o creature_n can_v be_v yet_o the_o way_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v a_o different_a way_n from_o the_o work_n effect_n with_o that_o we_o have_v in_o john_n 3.16_o so_o god_n love_v the_o world_n that_o he_o give_v his_o only_a beget_v son_n that_o whosoever_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v not_o perish_v but_o have_v everlasting_a life_n the_o world_n you_o will_v say_v how_o be_v that_o do_v god_n reconcile_v all_o the_o world_n to_o himself_o no_o we_o be_v therefore_o to_o understand_v this_o say_n here_o as_o a_o indifinite_a proposition_n and_o not_o as_o if_o it_o be_v a_o universal_a proposition_n and_o the_o right_a understanding_n of_o this_o difference_n between_o a_o universal_a and_o a_o indefinite_a proposition_n be_v of_o great_a use_n to_o we_o both_o in_o this_o and_o many_o other_o point_n of_o divinity_n a_o universal_a proposition_n be_v that_o that_o speak_v so_o of_o the_o general_a as_o it_o include_v every_o particular_a under_o it_o a_o indefinite_a proposition_n do_v but_o speak_v of_o the_o general_a and_o not_o include_v every_o particular_a under_o it_o but_o only_o many_o as_o thus_o if_o one_o shall_v say_v that_o such_o a_o man_n teach_v all_o the_o child_n in_o such_o a_o town_n we_o do_v not_o mean_v that_o there_o be_v no_o particular_a child_n that_o be_v not_o thaught_v for_o there_o be_v infant_n there_o and_o there_o be_v perhaps_o some_o that_o be_v not_o teach_v at_o all_o but_o we_o mean_v thus_o that_o he_o teach_v those_o child_n that_o be_v teach_v there_o be_v none_o that_o he_o except_v but_o if_o they_o come_v to_o he_o he_o will_v teach_v they_o he_o be_v there_o ready_a and_o stand_v prepare_v to_o teach_v they_o and_o in_o this_o senss_n he_o may_v be_v say_v to_o teach_v all_o the_o child_n in_o the_o town_n that_o be_v there_o be_v a_o genneral_a proposition_n without_o a_o particular_a restriction_n though_o every_o individual_a be_v not_o contain_v in_o it_o this_o now_o be_v a_o indefinite_a proposition_n or_o speech_n but_o when_o we_o say_v a_o general_a proposition_n than_o we_o speak_v of_o all_o particular_n none_o at_o all_o can_v be_v except_v but_o must_v come_v under_o that_o proposition_n and_o this_o will_v help_v we_o much_o in_o other_o point_n of_o divinity_n as_o in_o the_o promise_n i_o will_v be_v thy_o god_n and_o the_o god_n of_o thy_o seed_n we_o must_v understand_v this_o promise_n by_o the_o way_n of_o a_o indefinite_a proposition_n and_o so_o all_o understand_v it_o that_o understand_v it_o aright_o many_o that_o understand_v not_o the_o difference_n between_o these_o two_o think_v they_o have_v a_o strong_a objection_n and_o say_v this_o promise_n can_v be_v make_v of_o the_o godly_a for_o then_o the_o child_n of_o the_o godly_a will_v be_v godly_a too_o no_o it_o be_v not_o a_o universal_a proposition_n that_o include_v every_o particular_a but_o a_o indefinite_a one_o that_o be_v thus_o god_n promise_v to_o be_v the_o god_n of_o his_o people_n and_o of_o their_o seed_n that_o be_v he_o will_v show_v mercy_n to_o their_o seed_n rather_o than_o to_o the_o seed_n of_o other_o and_o he_o will_v rather_o draw_v the_o line_n of_o election_n through_o their_o loin_n then_o through_o the_o loin_n of_o other_o he_o will_v take_v they_o not_o every_o particular_a of_o they_o but_o take_v they_o indefinite_o and_o not_o reveal_v which_o of_o they_o he_o will_v take_v whether_o this_o person_n or_o that_o person_n individual_o but_o he_o kind_n of_o sound_n of_o the_o gospel_n go_v throughout_o the_o earth_n that_o by_o the_o voice_n of_o the_o creature_n man_n ought_v to_o come_v to_o know_v thus_o much_o that_o sure_o there_o be_v
