that_o which_o christ_n allege_v john_n 6._o 37._o as_o the_o original_a ground_n of_o this_o disposition_n of_o he_o not_o to_o cast_v out_o those_o that_o come_v to_o he_o for_o it_o be_v my_o father_n will_v say_v he_o in_o the_o follow_a verse_n that_o i_o shall_v perform_v that_o which_o i_o come_v down_o from_o heaven_n for_o ver_fw-la 38._o and_o this_o lie_v now_o still_o upon_o he_o now_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n as_o much_o as_o ever_o for_o his_o will_n also_o be_v say_v he_o ver_fw-la 39_o 40._o that_o i_o shall_v raise_v they_o up_o at_o the_o last_o day_n so_o as_o it_o first_o that_o christ_n shall_v die_v for_o his_o sheep_n in_o respect_n to_o which_o command_n he_o continue_v so_o to_o love_v they_o whilst_o here_o as_o to_o lay_v down_o his_o life_n for_o they_o so_o john_n 10._o 15._o but_o then_o he_o take_v it_o up_o again_o and_o be_v ascend_v into_o heaven_n therefore_o those_o other_o two_o thing_n command_v he_o do_v concern_v he_o when_o he_o be_v in_o glory_n namely_o to_o receive_v all_o that_o come_v to_o he_o which_o be_v the_o second_o and_o the_o three_o to_o look_v that_o he_o lose_v none_o of_o those_o for_o who_o he_o die_v but_o to_o raise_v they_o up_o and_o for_o these_o his_o father_n command_n lie_v as_o strict_o on_o he_o now_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n as_o for_o die_v for_o they_o whilst_o he_o be_v on_o earth_n this_o command_n have_v i_o receive_v from_o my_o father_n and_o this_o be_v his_o will_n and_o together_o with_o this_o command_n god_n do_v put_v into_o his_o heart_n as_o where_o he_o command_v he_o ever_o use_v to_o do_v such_o a_o instinct_n of_o transcendent_a love_n towards_o they_o as_o shall_v so_o strong_o incline_v he_o to_o perform_v it_o that_o he_o shall_v need_v no_o more_o command_n he_o have_v put_v such_o a_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d such_o a_o especial_a love_n into_o he_o as_o he_o have_v put_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o parent_n towards_o their_o own_o child_n more_o than_o to_o all_o other_o man_n child_n which_o they_o see_v beside_o although_o more_o beautiful_a and_o more_o witty_a than_o their_o own_o and_o both_o this_o commandment_n and_o this_o inclination_n of_o love_n towards_o they_o we_o have_v at_o once_o express_v psal_n 40._o 8._o where_n give_v the_o reason_n why_o he_o become_v our_o mediator_n and_o sacrifice_v himself_o he_o not_o only_o say_v i_o come_v to_o do_v thy_o will_n o_o god_n but_o also_o thy_o law_n be_v in_o my_o bowel_n in_o which_o speech_n both_o these_o two_o be_v mention_v 1._o that_o command_n i_o mention_v he_o be_v to_o be_v mediator_n it_o be_v that_o special_a law_n which_o lie_v on_o he_o as_o he_o be_v the_o second_o adam_n like_o that_o which_o be_v give_v to_o the_o first_o adam_n non_fw-la it_o be_v on_o earth_n even_o as_o when_o he_o be_v on_o the_o cross_n &_o
that_o because_o of_o his_o father_n command_n it_o be_v evidence_v thus_o for_o it_o be_v a_o law_n write_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o bowel_n by_o his_o father_n it_o become_v natural_a to_o he_o and_o so_o indelible_a and_o as_o other_o moral_a law_n of_o god_n write_v in_o the_o heart_n be_v perpetual_a and_o as_o in_o we_o when_o we_o shall_v be_v in_o heaven_n though_o faith_n shall_v fail_v and_o hope_v vanish_v yet_o love_n shall_v continue_v as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v so_o do_v this_o love_n in_o christ_n heart_n continue_v also_o and_o suffer_v no_o decay_n and_o be_v show_v as_o much_o now_o in_o receive_v sinner_n and_o intercede_v for_o they_o and_o be_v pitiful_a unto_o they_o as_o then_o in_o die_v for_o they_o and_o this_o love_n to_o sinner_n be_v so_o command_v &_o press_v upon_o he_o as_o be_v say_v that_o as_o he_o will_v have_v his_o father_n love_v he_o he_o shall_v love_v they_o and_o so_o be_v urge_v upon_o all_o that_o great_a love_n that_o be_v between_o he_o and_o his_o father_n this_o as_o it_o must_v needs_o work_v and_o boil_v up_o a_o strong_a love_n in_o he_o unto_o sinner_n so_o likewise_o the_o most_o constant_a and_o never-decaying_a love_n that_o can_v be_v and_o this_o be_v argue_v from_o the_o analogy_n of_o that_o principle_n upon_o which_o christ_n urge_v we_o to_o love_v himself_o john_n 15._o 10._o he_o move_v his_o disciple_n to_o keep_v the_o commandment_n he_o give_v they_o and_o use_v this_o argument_n for_o so_o shall_v you_o abide_v in_o my_o love_n and_o back_n it_o with_o his_o own_o instance_n even_n as_o i_o have_v keep_v my_o father_n commandment_n and_o abide_v in_o his_o love_n now_o therefore_o this_o be_v the_o great_a commandment_n that_o god_n lay_v on_o he_o to_o love_v and_o die_v for_o and_o to_o continue_v to_o love_v and_o receive_v sinner_n that_o come_v to_o he_o and_o raise_v they_o up_o at_o the_o latter_a day_n certain_o he_o continue_v to_o keep_v it_o most_o exact_o as_o be_v one_o of_o the_o great_a tie_n between_o he_o and_o his_o father_n so_o to_o continue_v in_o his_o love_n to_o he_o therefore_o so_o long_o as_o he_o continue_v in_o his_o father_n love_n and_o now_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n and_o at_o his_o right_a hand_n he_o must_v needs_o continue_v in_o high_a favour_n with_o he_o so_o long_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a he_o continue_v to_o observe_v this_o and_o thus_o that_o he_o shall_v continue_v still_o to_o love_v we_o both_o love_n to_o his_o father_n and_o love_n to_o himself_o oblige_v he_o we_o may_v therefore_o be_v sure_a of_o he_o that_o he_o both_o do_v it_o and_o will_v do_v it_o for_o ever_o o_o what_o a_o comfort_n be_v it_o that_o as_o child_n be_v mutual_a pledge_n and_o tie_n of_o love_n between_o man_n and_o wife_n so_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v make_v such_o between_o god_n the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n and_o this_o demonstration_n be_v take_v from_o the_o influence_n of_o the_o first_o person_n of_o the_o trinity_n namely_o from_o god_n the_o father_n then_o second_o this_o his_o love_n be_v not_o a_o force_a love_n which_o he_o strive_v only_o to_o bear_v towards_o we_o because_o his_o father_n have_v command_v he_o to_o marry_v we_o but_o it_o be_v his_o nature_n his_o disposition_n which_o add_v to_o the_o former_a afford_v a_o second_o demonstration_n of_o the_o point_n in_o hand_n and_o be_v draw_v from_o god_n the_o son_n this_o disposition_n be_v free_a and_o natural_a to_o he_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v god_n son_n else_o nor_o take_v after_o his_o heavenly_a father_n unto_o who_o it_o be_v natural_a to_o show_v mercy_n but_o not_o so_o to_o punish_v which_o be_v his_o strange_a work_n but_o mercy_n please_v he_o he_o be_v the_o father_n of_o mercy_n he_o beget_v they_o natural_o now_o christ_n be_v his_o own_o son_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d as_o by_o way_n of_o distinction_n he_o be_v call_v and_o his_o natural_a son_n yea_o his_o humane_a nature_n be_v unite_v to_o the_o second_o person_n be_v thereby_o become_v the_o natural_a son_n of_o god_n not_o adopt_v as_o we_o be_v and_o if_o he_o be_v his_o natural_a son_n in_o privilege_n than_o also_o his_o father_n property_n be_v natural_a to_o he_o more_o natural_a then_o to_o we_o who_o be_v but_o his_o adopt_a son_n and_o if_o we_o as_o the_o elect_a of_o god_n who_o be_v but_o the_o adopt_a son_n be_v exhort_v to_o put_v on_o bowel_n of_o mercy_n kindness_n humbleness_n of_o mind_n meekness_n etc._n etc._n as_o col._n 3._o 12._o then_o much_o more_o must_v these_o disposition_n needs_o be_v find_v in_o christ_n the_o natural_a son_n and_o these_o not_o put_v on_o by_o he_o but_o be_v as_o natural_a to_o he_o as_o his_o sonship_n be_v god_n be_v love_n as_o john_n say_v and_o christ_n be_v love_v cover_v over_o with_o flesh_n yea_o our_o flesh_n and_o beside_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o as_o god_n have_v fashion_v the_o heart_n of_o all_o man_n and_o some_o of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n unto_o more_o mercy_n and_o pity_n natural_o then_o other_o and_o then_o the_o holy_a spirit_n come_v on_o they_o to_o sanctify_v their_o natural_a disposition_n use_v to_o work_v according_a to_o their_o temper_n even_o so_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o he_o temper_v the_o heart_n of_o christ_n and_o make_v it_o of_o a_o soft_a mould_n and_o temper_n then_o the_o tenderness_n of_o all_o man_n heart_n put_v together_o into_o one_o to_o soften_v it_o will_v have_v be_v of_o when_o he_o be_v to_o assume_v a_o humane_a nature_n he_o be_v bring_v in_o say_v heb._n 10._o a_o temper_n and_o frame_v as_o may_v be_v more_o merciful_a than_o all_o man_n or_o angle_n his_o humane_a nature_n be_v make_v without_o hand_n that_o be_v be_v not_o of_o the_o ordinary_a make_v that_o other_o man_n heart_n be_v of_o though_o for_o the_o matter_n the_o same_o yet_o not_o for_o the_o frame_n of_o his_o spirit_n it_o be_v a_o heart_n bespeak_v for_o on_o purpose_n to_o be_v make_v a_o vessel_n or_o rather_o fountain_n of_o mercy_n wide_a and_o capable_a enough_o to_o be_v so_o extend_v as_o to_o take_v in_o and_o give_v forth_o to_o we_o again_o all_o god_n manifestative_a mercy_n that_o be_v all_o the_o mercy_n god_n intend_v to_o manifest_v to_o his_o elect_a &_o therefore_o christ_n heart_n have_v natural_o in_o the_o temper_n of_o it_o more_o pity_n than_o all_o man_n or_o angle_n have_v as_o through_o which_o the_o mercy_n of_o the_o great_a god_n be_v to_o be_v dispense_v unto_o we_o and_o this_o heart_n of_o he_o to_o be_v the_o instrument_n of_o they_o and_o then_o this_o man_n and_o the_o heart_n of_o this_o man_n so_o frame_v be_v unite_v to_o god_n and_o be_v make_v the_o natural_a son_n of_o god_n now_o natural_a must_v mercy_n need_v be_v unto_o he_o and_o therefore_o continue_v in_o he_o now_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n for_o though_o he_o lay_v down_o all_o infirmity_n of_o our_o nature_n when_o he_o rise_v again_o yet_o no_o grace_n that_o be_v in_o abide_v upon_o he_o in_o heaven_n it_o must_v never_o be_v say_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v depart_v from_o he_o who_o be_v the_o sender_n and_o bestower_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n upon_o we_o and_o if_o the_o spirit_n once_o come_v upon_o his_o member_n abide_v with_o they_o for_o ever_o as_o christ_n promise_v john_n 14._o 16._o then_o much_o more_o do_v this_o spirit_n abide_v that_o contribute_v the_o stock_n and_o treasury_n of_o those_o mercy_n to_o be_v bestow_v on_o we_o and_o unto_o the_o greatness_n of_o these_o mercy_n nothing_o be_v or_o can_v be_v add_v by_o the_o humane_a nature_n assume_v but_o rather_o christ_n manhood_n have_v all_o his_o largeness_n of_o mercy_n from_o the_o deity_n so_o that_o have_v he_o not_o have_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n to_o enlarge_v his_o heart_n towards_o we_o he_o can_v never_o have_v hold_v out_o to_o have_v for_o ever_o be_v merciful_a unto_o we_o but_o then_o this_o humane_a nature_n assume_v that_o add_v a_o new_a way_n of_o be_v merciful_a it_o assimilate_v all_o these_o mercy_n and_o make_v they_o the_o mercy_n of_o a_o man_n it_o make_v they_o humane_a mercy_n and_o so_o give_v a_o naturalnesse_n and_o kindlinesse_n unto_o they_o to_o our_o capacity_n so_o that_o god_n do_v now_o in_o as_o kind_o and_o as_o natural_a a_o way_n pity_v we_o who_o be_v flesh_n of_o his_o flesh_n and_o bone_n of_o his_o bone_n as_o a_o man_n pity_v a_o man_n thereby_o to_o encourage_v we_o to_o come_v to_o he_o and_o to_o be_v familiar_a with_o god_n and_o treat_v with_o he_o for_o grace_n and_o mercy_n as_o a_o man_n will_v do_v with_o a_o man_n as_o know_v that_o in_o that_o man_n christ_n jesus_n who_o we_o believe_v upon_o god_n dwell_v and_o his_o mercy_n work_v in_o and_o through_o his_o heart_n in_o a_o humane_a way_n i_o will_v no_o long_o insist_v upon_o this_o notion_n now_o because_o i_o shall_v have_v occasion_n to_o touch_v upon_o it_o again_o and_o add_v unto_o it_o under_o that_o next_o
