any_o pity_n to_o his_o sin_n but_o show_v all_o the_o hatred_n and_o revenge_n against_o it_o that_o possible_o he_o can_v as_o the_o apostle_n say_v concern_v the_o incestuous_a corinth_n you_o shall_v rather_o have_v sorrow_v that_o the_o sin_n may_v have_v be_v remove_v have_v you_o sorrow_v for_o your_o sin_n than_o you_o will_v have_v resist_v they_o and_o when_o he_o have_v show_v they_o their_o transgression_n and_o convince_v they_o of_o their_o sin_n see_v what_o fruit_n it_o wrought_v in_o they_o in_o 2_o cor._n 7.10_o for_o this_o thing_n that_o you_o have_v have_v godly_a quest._n 2_o now_o in_o the_o second_o place_n the_o question_n be_v this_o how_o far_o may_v not_o a_o believer_n charge_v himself_o with_o his_o sin_n this_o be_v that_o which_o have_v breed_v all_o these_o vain_a conceit_n in_o the_o spirit_n of_o those_o familist_n i_o say_v no_o more_o therefore_o but_o this_o they_o make_v christ_n not_o a_o king_n of_o saint_n but_o of_o sin_n there_o be_v great_a weight_n in_o it_o and_o admirable_a comfort_n if_o christian_n will_v but_o be_v persuade_v to_o make_v conscience_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n you_o that_o be_v weak_a not_o only_o be_v persuade_v to_o listen_v to_o the_o word_n but_o also_o make_v conscience_n of_o what_o be_v reveal_v out_o of_o the_o word_n now_o how_o far_o he_o may_v not_o charge_v himself_o with_o his_o sin_n may_v be_v conceive_v of_o in_o these_o conclusion_n first_o a_o believer_n shall_v not_o in_o his_o judgement_n conceive_v nor_o in_o his_o heart_n be_v persuade_v that_o any_o sin_n nor_o all_o his_o sin_n shall_v ever_o be_v able_a to_o fasten_v the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n upon_o he_o so_o as_o to_o cause_v revenge_v justice_n to_o proceed_v against_o he_o to_o his_o condemnation_n if_o he_o tentmaker_n and_o there_o come_v a_o viper_n out_o of_o the_o heat_n and_o leap_v on_o his_o hand_n by_o and_o by_o the_o heathen_n they_o proclaim_v he_o to_o be_v some_o notorious_a malefactor_n some_o murderer_n who_o though_o he_o have_v escape_v the_o sea_n yet_o vengeance_n have_v not_o suffer_v he_o to_o live_v but_o mark_v what_o the_o text_n say_v he_o shake_v off_o the_o viper_n into_o the_o fire_n and_o have_v no_o hurt_n this_o viper_n will_v have_v slay_v he_o be_v a_o deadly_a venomous_a creature_n but_o paul_n have_v a_o promise_n before_o that_o if_o he_o touch_v any_o poisonful_a thing_n it_o shall_v not_o hurt_v he_o this_o be_v the_o admirable_a happiness_n of_o the_o saint_n and_o servant_n of_o god_n oh_o that_o they_o be_v persuade_v of_o it_o all_o thy_o pride_n and_o envy_v and_o malice_n and_o covetousness_n all_o thy_o sin_n be_v of_o a_o poisonous_a viperous_a nature_n but_o if_o thou_o be_v a_o believer_n if_o a_o true_a penitent_a and_o convert_v thou_o have_v the_o promise_n that_o the_o sting_n of_o the_o serpent_n sin_n shall_v not_o hurt_v thou_o it_o be_v take_v off_o from_o thou_o and_o lay_v upon_o the_o lord_n jesus_n because_o the_o fire_n will_v not_o or_o can_v not_o but_o the_o lord_n stop_v the_o act_n of_o the_o fire_n so_o every_o sin_n be_v able_a to_o fasten_v guilt_n upon_o thou_o and_o to_o condemn_v thou_o but_o upon_o thy_o repentance_n the_o lord_n hinder_v it_o in_o the_o act_n and_o therefore_o though_o sin_n do_v send_v the_o wicked_a and_o impenitent_a down_o to_o hell_n to_o fry_v in_o torment_n yet_o it_o shall_v never_o send_v thou_o down_o nor_o fasten_v guilt_n upon_o thou_o thus_o it_o be_v likewise_o with_o daniel_n chap._n 6.22_o 23_o 24._o when_o he_o be_v put_v into_o the_o have_v tooth_n indeed_o and_o power_n to_o make_v a_o man_n worthy_a of_o condemnation_n but_o they_o shall_v never_o fasten_v condemnation_n upon_o he_o this_o be_v the_o meaning_n of_o that_o place_n romans_z 8.3_o that_o which_o be_v impossible_a to_o the_o law_n to_o do_v in_o as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v weak_a because_o of_o the_o flesh_n god_n send_v his_o only_a son_n in_o the_o similitude_n of_o sinful_a flesh_n and_o for_o sin_n condemn_a sin_n in_o the_o flesh_n it_o be_v a_o excellent_a place_n and_o have_v much_o weight_n in_o it_o and_o howsoever_o there_o be_v many_o say_v christ_n take_v flesh_n on_o he_o and_o it_o be_v sinful_a flesh_n by_o similitude_n or_o imputation_n not_o actual_o by_o commission_n the_o nature_n of_o our_o saviour_n have_v no_o evil_a inherent_a in_o he_o nor_o commit_v by_o he_o but_o he_o be_v only_o a_o sinner_n by_o imputation_n and_o then_o he_o condemn_v sin_n in_o the_o flesh_n what_o be_v that_o it_o be_v a_o law_n case_n and_o master_n calvin_n have_v it_o excellent_o he_o damn_a sin_n as_o a_o man_n will_v say_v when_o he_o lose_v the_o suit_n he_o fall_v from_o his_o cause_n and_o from_o his_o plea_n which_o he_o make_v he_o lose_v it_o utter_o so_o christ_n take_v upon_o he_o our_o nature_n by_o imputation_n he_o make_v sin_n lose_v its_o claim_n which_o it_o will_v make_v to_o the_o soul_n in_o this_o case_n guilty_a for_o he_o but_o i_o have_v undertake_v the_o guilt_n for_o he_o and_o have_v pay_v the_o debt_n for_o he_o and_o therefore_o this_o soul_n be_v free_a from_o sin_n thou_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v with_o this_o soul_n neither_o shall_v thou_o condemn_v he_o observe_v it_o when_o all_o your_o sin_n shall_v muster_v in_o upon_o you_o and_o come_v from_o east_n to_o west_n say_v thou_o be_v guilty_a of_o pride_n guilty_a of_o malice_n etc._n etc._n and_o shall_v be_v condemn_v for_o they_o make_v answer_n and_o say_v it_o be_v true_a lord_n i_o be_o so_o but_o christ_n have_v take_v it_o be_v evident_a that_o every_o obstinate_a unbeliever_n be_v destitute_a of_o all_o hope_n of_o succour_n and_o pardon_n of_o his_o sin_n consider_v of_o this_o all_o you_o that_o be_v unbeliever_n you_o must_v pay_v your_o own_o debt_n and_o bear_v your_o own_o burden_n i_o know_v your_o heart_n can_v but_o testify_v that_o the_o condition_n of_o such_o poor_a soul_n be_v very_o miserable_a it_o be_v that_o which_o sometime_o comfort_v a_o man_n that_o either_o he_o have_v good_a friend_n that_o will_v help_v he_o or_o else_o he_o have_v mean_n of_o his_o own_o by_o which_o he_o be_v able_a to_o relieve_v himself_o but_o he_o that_o have_v no_o relief_n of_o himself_o nor_o can_v expect_v noâ—_n hope_v for_o any_o this_o man_n sink_v down_o in_o sorrow_n because_o he_o know_v there_o be_v no_o way_n in_o the_o world_n to_o help_v he_o this_o be_v thy_o condition_n right_a thou_o that_o be_v a_o unbeliever_n what_o to_o be_v cast_v out_o of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n too_o this_o be_v miserable_a to_o be_v for_o saken_a of_o god_n and_o man_n too_o that_o no_o mean_n in_o heaven_n nor_o earth_n will_v stand_v he_o in_o steed_n for_o his_o good_a while_o he_o thus_o continue_v consider_v of_o this_o you_o that_o make_v nothing_o of_o the_o sin_n of_o unbelief_n though_o you_o have_v some_o care_n of_o other_o sin_n whither_o will_v you_o go_v for_o succour_v in_o that_o great_a day_n of_o account_n will_v you_o go_v to_o the_o saint_n they_o dare_v not_o will_v you_o go_v to_o the_o creature_n they_o can_v will_v you_o go_v to_o the_o lord_n
