itself_o but_o the_o lord_n as_o he_o be_v the_o searcher_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o reins_n so_o his_o law_n reach_v thither_o and_o find_v out_o sin_n in_o the_o very_a beginning_n of_o it_o when_o able_a to_o abide_v it_o and_o whereas_o man_n be_v afraid_a to_o say_v what_o they_o think_v and_o to_o confess_v this_o truth_n which_o they_o be_v convict_v of_o because_o they_o do_v not_o see_v how_o then_o they_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o keep_v this_o law_n we_o know_v that_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n in_o controversy_n between_o we_o and_o the_o papist_n whether_o the_o law_n of_o god_n may_v be_v perfect_o keep_v or_o no_o and_o therefore_o though_o they_o abhor_v all_o popery_n yet_o if_o they_o stand_v upon_o this_o point_n they_o shall_v fall_v into_o a_o popish_a opinion_n &_o agree_v with_o they_o who_o when_o they_o have_v set_v it_o down_o 18._o council_n trident._n sext_n sess_v canon_n 18._o as_o a_o law_n of_o the_o mede_n and_o persian_n that_o may_v not_o be_v part_n of_o the_o body_n than_o we_o may_v perceive_v that_o the_o heathen_a philosopher_n by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n have_v see_v further_o into_o the_o truth_n of_o it_o than_o we_o have_v do_v by_o the_o bright_a beam_n of_o the_o word_n who_o say_v that_o a_o good_a man_n must_v have_v not_o only_o his_o hand_n and_o eye_n continent_n and_o free_a from_o sin_n but_o also_o his_o mind_n and_o we_o must_v endeavour_n ourselves_o so_o much_o the_o more_o careful_o to_o dispossess_v our_o mind_n of_o all_o earthly_a matter_n because_o it_o be_v so_o hard_a a_o thing_n to_o may_v be_v occupy_v about_o they_o all_o manner_n of_o way_n in_o soul_n and_o in_o body_n as_o they_o shall_v not_o hinder_v we_o but_o rather_o be_v mean_n to_o further_o we_o in_o the_o true_a manner_n of_o sanctify_v the_o day_n and_o we_o have_v here_o so_o much_o the_o more_o liberty_n because_o we_o can_v do_v our_o necessary_a business_n but_o we_o must_v speak_v and_o think_v of_o
