appear_v before_o god_n for_o we_o therefore_o he_o be_v more_o excellent_a and_o above_o all_o other_o priest_n even_o aaron_n nay_o above_o melchizedeck_v one_o of_o the_o great_a priest_n on_o earth_n and_o also_o above_o the_o high_a priest_n of_o angel_n if_o there_o be_v any_o priesthood_n among_o they_o beside_o because_o he_o must_v have_v subject_n of_o all_o nation_n in_o time_n dignity_n which_o do_v agree_v unto_o he_o as_o he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n neither_o do_v he_o take_v upon_o he_o any_o civil_a command_n or_o jurisdiction_n much_o less_o that_o universal_a and_o supreme_a power_n wherewith_o he_o be_v invest_v afterward_o 5._o he_o be_v bear_v not_o only_o a_o man_n but_o a_o jew_n under_o the_o bondage_n and_o servitude_n of_o the_o law_n as_o be_v moral_a but_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o the_o civil_a law_n of_o the_o roman_n so_o far_o as_o they_o be_v just_a he_o many_o way_n manifest_v himself_o to_o be_v the_o word_n make_v flesh_n and_o the_o only_o beget_v son_n of_o god_n and_o that_o not_o only_o by_o his_o eminent_a virtue_n but_o by_o his_o heavenly_a doctrine_n and_o glorious_a work_n so_o that_o never_o any_o give_v better_a example_n teach_v better_a doctrine_n or_o do_v great_a work_n so_o beneficial_a to_o mankind_n and_o to_o destructive_a to_o satan_n power_n yet_o he_o manifest_v himself_o in_o this_o manner_n only_o among_o his_o own_o people_n seek_v earnest_o not_o only_a their_o temporal_a peace_n but_o their_o eternal_a salvation_n and_o all_o this_o may_v be_v call_v his_o active_a obedience_n which_o though_o so_o excellent_a and_o perfect_a yet_o can_v not_o free_v he_o from_o obedience_n in_o suffering_n which_o be_v many_o and_o end_v in_o the_o death_n of_o the_o cross._n the_o history_n hereof_o i_o will_v 1._o deliver_v brief_o out_o of_o the_o evangelist_n and_o 2._o discourse_v of_o the_o same_o more_o at_o large_a out_o of_o these_o and_o other_o place_n of_o scripture_n though_o he_o suffer_v by_o the_o determinate_a counsel_n and_o sore-knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o god_n have_v show_v before_o by_o the_o mouth_n of_o all_o his_o prophet_n that_o he_o shall_v suffer_v yet_o the_o counsel_n of_o god_n and_o prediction_n of_o the_o prophet_n be_v fulfil_v in_o the_o manner_n follow_v 1._o by_o his_o suffering_n before_o judgement_n 2._o by_o his_o who_o out_o of_o his_o unspeakable_a love_n give_v he_o this_o command_n to_o be_v servant_n for_o a_o while_n and_o suffer_v death_n for_o sinful_a man_n salvation_n this_o be_v a_o act_n of_o transcendent_a power_n to_o give_v such_o a_o law_n and_o christ_n willing_o out_o of_o pity_n unto_o his_o brethren_n submit_v to_o this_o power_n and_o be_v willing_a to_o be_v bind_v by_o this_o subdue_v in_o the_o body_n of_o the_o saint_n who_o be_v his_o church_n by_o this_o also_o sin_n and_o satan_n receive_v a_o fatal_a wound_n and_o regeneration_n and_o the_o hope_n of_o eternal_a glory_n depend_v upon_o the_o same_o they_o depend_v upon_o it_o not_o only_o in_o respect_n of_o divine_a institution_n but_o because_o as_o he_o have_v merit_v so_o he_o receive_v a_o power_n to_o regenerate_a all_o such_o as_o shall_v believe_v in_o he_o and_o to_o raise_v they_o up_o to_o eternal_a life_n for_o to_o whosoever_o he_o give_v his_o regenerate_a spirit_n in_o this_o life_n that_o very_a spirit_n once_o dwell_v in_o we_o be_v a_o evidence_n and_o assurance_n
