way_n or_o term_n of_o peace_n without_o prejudice_n in_o general_a therefore_o i_o say_v that_o the_o term_n of_o a_o universal_a concord_n or_o peace_n must_v be_v pure_o divine_a and_o not_o humane_a necessary_a and_o not_o thing_n unnecessary_a ancient_a according_a to_o the_o primitive_a simplicity_n and_o neither_o new_a nor_o yet_o too_o numerous_a curious_a or_o abstruse_a these_o find_v out_o such_o a_o way_n for_o ourselves_o where_o we_o can_v this_o be_v just_o take_v nothing_o and_o hold_v it_o fast_o such_o general_a way_n be_v common_o the_o way_n of_o bungler_n or_o deceiver_n one_o of_o mercury_n statue_n though_o it_o be_v dumb_a can_v have_v give_v better_a direction_n for_o a_o way_n than_o this_o but_o he_o who_o will_v be_v a_o reconciler_n of_o controversy_n must_v be_v more_o particular_a yet_o let_v we_o take_v a_o particular_a view_n of_o his_o general_a direction_n the_o term_n of_o a_o universal_a peace_n must_v be_v pure_o divine_a not_o humane_a how_o pure_o divine_a not_o humane_a that_o be_v impossible_a that_o which_o be_v pure_o divine_a have_v no_o mixture_n of_o humane_a in_o it_o but_o these_o term_n of_o peace_n must_v pure_o divine_a but_o perhaps_o his_o meaning_n be_v no_o more_o than_o this_o that_o in_o a_o accommodation_n no_o humane_a constitution_n ought_v to_o be_v impose_v upon_o the_o church_n then_o down_o go_v his_o presbyterian_a discipline_n for_o that_o be_v both_o humane_a and_o new_a when_o calvin_n first_o propose_v it_o to_o the_o helvetian_a divine_n for_o their_o approbation_n he_o desire_v no_o more_o of_o they_o but_o to_o testify_v that_o it_o be_v not_o disagreeable_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n or_o come_v near_o to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n it_o be_v meet_v and_o just_a that_o no_o humane_a constitution_n shall_v be_v impose_v as_o divine_a ordinance_n but_o it_o do_v not_o follow_v thence_o that_o all_o humane_a right_n and_o law_n must_v be_v thrust_v out_o for_o rot_a humane_a right_n be_v ground_v upon_o divine_a right_n that_o be_v the_o law_n of_o nature_n and_o the_o positive_a law_n of_o god_n and_o can_v be_v violate_v without_o the_o violation_n of_o the_o divine_a law_n and_o aught_o to_o be_v observe_v for_o conscience_n sake_n out_o of_o a_o respect_n to_o the_o divine_a law_n which_o command_v every_o soul_n to_o be_v subject_a to_o the_o this_o case_n we_o be_v bind_v to_o obey_v for_o conscience_n sake_n until_o they_o be_v repeal_v lawful_o by_o virtue_n of_o the_o law_n of_o christ._n a_o fair_a plea_n than_o i_o know_v any_o for_o their_o own_o consistory_n where_o layman_n usurp_v the_o power_n of_o the_o key_n contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o christ._n his_o six_o exception_n be_v the_o same_o with_o the_o five_o only_o therefore_o how_o small_a so_o ever_o they_o may_v be_v be_v not_o to_o be_v consent_v unto_o for_o unity_n if_o there_o be_v any_o grain_n of_o truth_n in_o this_o proof_n it_o be_v so_o indefinite_a so_o conjectural_a and_o so_o accidental_a that_o it_o require_v no_o answer_n how_o shall_v a_o man_n either_o affirm_v or_o deny_v or_o distinguish_v of_o many_o thing_n without_o specify_v any_o one_o thing_n in_o particular_a i_o assent_v thus_o far_o in_o general_a that_o no_o man_n can_v be_v oblige_v to_o do_v a_o sin_n against_o god_n and_o that_o whatsoever_o humane_a ordinance_n do_v necessary_o and_o essential_o produce_v sin_n be_v unlawful_a but_o until_o he_o tell_v we_o in_o particular_a what_o these_o many_o thing_n be_v or_o at_o least_o some_o one_o of_o they_o and_o prove_v evident_o that_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n against_o god_n indeed_o and_o not_o in_o his_o opinion_n only_o and_o that_o it_o be_v infallible_o true_a that_o it_o will_v be_v impose_v which_o will_v be_v a_o hard_a task_n to_o undertake_v without_o the_o gift_n of_o prophecy_n and_o last_o that_o the_o imposition_n of_o some_o such_o sinful_a thing_n or_o thing_n be_v not_o a_o arbitrary_a or_o accidental_a abuse_n of_o that_o lawful_a power_n which_o i_o admit_v but_o flow_v natural_o or_o essential_o from_o it_o i_o say_v until_o he_o do_v all_o this_o all_o that_o he_o do_v say_v signify_v nothing_o and_o so_o i_o leave_v his_o many_o thing_n as_o just_a nothing_o and_o come_v unto_o his_o seven_o exception_n the_o aethiopian_a and_o other_o church_n that_o be_v still_o
