this_o objection_n i_o answer_v answ_n though_o i_o reverence_v their_o learning_n and_o godliness_n yet_o i_o receive_v not_o their_o sense_n of_o this_o place_n because_o i_o find_v the_o word_n nature_n otherwise_o use_v sometime_o than_o for_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n and_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n in_o another_o consideration_n also_o than_o hitherto_o set_v forth_o and_o i_o find_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o the_o law_n and_o the_o work_n or_o effect_v of_o the_o law_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o the_o take_v the_o word_n here_o in_o such_o a_o sense_n will_v contradict_v many_o plain_a say_n of_o scripture_n for_o those_o that_o understand_v not_o do_v no_o good_a be_v ungodly_a and_o enemy_n to_o god_n and_o by_o nature_n dead_a in_o trespass_n and_o sin_n have_v which_o be_v here_o speak_v of_o it_o be_v needful_a that_o we_o first_o receive_v the_o gospel-testimonie_n that_o christ_n die_v for_o all_o man_n and_o extend_v by_o virtue_n of_o his_o death_n use_v mean_n that_o man_n may_v repent_v and_o believe_v in_o stretch_v out_o his_o hand_n by_o his_o spirit_n work_v in_o they_o that_o they_o may_v believe_v and_o promise_v great_a happiness_n to_o they_o believe_v these_o be_v the_o thing_n to_o be_v set_v before_o all_o man_n and_o god_n give_v they_o eye_n that_o they_o may_v see_v &_o in_o discovery_n they_o do_v see_v though_o they_o will_v not_o see_v that_o be_v use_v their_o sight_n matth._n 13.14_o 15._o and_o it_o be_v not_o the_o will_n of_o god_n though_o the_o gospel_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o house_n of_o god_n be_v show_v in_o a_o little_a measure_n in_o respect_n of_o what_o be_v in_o they_o they_o be_v such_o thing_n as_o be_v not_o yet_o full_o give_v to_o they_o by_o way_n of_o possession_n but_o prepare_v and_o by_o the_o mountain_n he_o have_v make_v they_o but_o know_v their_o imbecility_n use_v right_o what_o they_o have_v to_o abide_v still_o look_v to_o he_o and_o wait_v on_o he_o to_o perfect_v all_o that_o concern_v they_o and_o so_o receive_v and_o yield_v up_o still_o to_o his_o instruction_n and_o motion_n that_o so_o his_o word_n may_v abide_v in_o they_o and_o they_o in_o this_o grace_n of_o he_o suitable_a to_o that_o be_v say_v rom._n 10_o 8_o 9_o 10._o with_o 1_o john_n 3.5_o though_o they_o here_o speak_v to_o be_v more_o than_o mere_a natural_a man_n to_o who_o yet_o even_o this_o caveat_n and_o instruction_n be_v needful_a so_o that_o this_o agree_v with_o that_o i_o have_v affirm_v &_o instruct_v and_o press_v to_o the_o right_a use_n thereof_o rom._n 9.16_o it_o be_v not_o of_o he_o that_o will_v nor_o of_o he_o that_o run_v but_o of_o god_n that_o show_v mercy_n ans_fw-fr a_o heavenly_a truth_n and_o bless_a instruction_n and_o nothing_o in_o it_o cross_v any_o thing_n
