teach_v a_o perfect_a righteousness_n both_o of_o nature_n and_o action_n yet_o it_o be_v very_o unable_a to_o bring_v we_o thereunto_o because_o we_o do_v lack_v strength_n and_o power_n to_o perform_v and_o keep_v it_o both_o before_o and_o after_o our_o regeneration_n from_o whence_o do_v follow_v that_o see_v by_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o law_n we_o can_v attain_v perfect_a righteousness_n and_o salvation_n with_o freedom_n from_o sin_n and_o death_n because_o of_o the_o infirmity_n of_o our_o flesh_n therefore_o it_o be_v of_o necessity_n that_o christ_n shall_v take_v our_o nature_n full_a of_o holiness_n to_o do_v that_o for_o we_o which_o the_o law_n can_v not_o do_v that_o be_v to_o destroy_v sin_n and_o death_n and_o to_o make_v they_o which_o by_o faith_n lie_v hold_v on_o he_o so_o absolute_o righteous_a as_o the_o law_n require_v for_o thus_o the_o case_n stand_v that_o not_o only_o our_o thought_n word_n and_o work_n shall_v be_v free_a from_o sin_n and_o whole_o upright_o but_o also_o that_o our_o nature_n even_o the_o very_a faculty_n of_o our_o reason_n and_o will_n shall_v be_v in_o all_o thing_n conformable_a to_o god_n will_v reveal_v in_o his_o law_n as_o adam_n be_v in_o his_o creation_n and_o according_a to_o that_o which_o be_v write_v love_n god_n with_o all_o thy_o heart_n etc._n etc._n now_o because_o none_o no_o not_o the_o godly_a do_v ever_o get_v this_o perfection_n while_o they_o be_v here_o their_o nature_n still_o remain_v corrupt_a in_o part_n and_o rebel_a against_o god_n rom._n 7_o 22._o therefore_o all_o must_v needs_o have_v perish_v except_o our_o nature_n have_v be_v full_o sanctify_v in_o the_o man_n christ_n who_o be_v free_o allow_v to_o the_o faithful_a to_o free_v they_o from_o condenmation_n tim._n divide_v the_o text_n now_o into_o his_o several_a part_n silas_n it_o have_v these_o two_o part_n first_o the_o end_n for_o the_o which_o god_n send_v his_o son_n into_o the_o world_n to_o wit_n that_o the_o infirmity_n or_o weakness_n of_o the_o law_n by_o occasion_n of_o we_o &_o our_o sin_n shall_v be_v no_o let_v or_o hindrance_n to_o man_n salvation_n second_o what_o christ_n jesus_n the_o begin_n of_o the_o next_o verse_n silas_n yet_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o seven_o chapter_n that_o the_o law_n be_v ordain_v unto_o life_n tim._n the_o apostle_n show_v there_o what_o it_o be_v able_a to_o do_v in_o his_o own_o nature_n and_o here_o what_o it_o be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v to_o we_o that_o be_v sinner_n for_o the_o law_n by_o god_n ordinance_n can_v justify_v we_o and_o bring_v we_o to_o life_n eternal_a tim._n but_o how_o
