in_o the_o life_n of_o grace_n god_n manifest_v himself_o in_o the_o light_n of_o truth_n and_o work_v in_o the_o life_n of_o love_n and_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n there_o be_v a_o form_n of_o godliness_n which_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o 2_o tim._n 3.5_o a_o mere_a external_a profession_n and_o garb_n of_o godliness_n there_o be_v no_o mystery_n in_o that_o man_n may_v take_v up_o a_o curious_a picture_n of_o holiness_n without_o much_o ado_n nature_n can_v reach_v that_o mystery_n but_o there_o be_v a_o power_n of_o godliness_n which_o consist_v in_o the_o life_n and_o spirit_n great_a mystery_n thus_o than_o the_o whole_a manifestation_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n all_o the_o act_n of_o his_o glory_n in_o truth_n and_o all_o those_o truth_n wrought_v in_o the_o soul_n be_v this_o godliness_n which_o the_o apostle_n well_o call_v a_o great_a mystery_n though_o this_o must_v be_v add_v that_o the_o apostle_n especial_o aim_v here_o at_o the_o truth_n themselves_o copy_n of_o it_o in_o your_o own_o heart_n for_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n if_o christ_n be_v justify_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v discharge_v therefore_o get_v holy_a and_o glorious_a triumph_n in_o your_o heart_n over_o sin_n and_o death_n in_o that_o christ_n be_v not_o only_o dead_a but_o alive_a and_o that_o you_o be_v justify_v in_o he_o get_v out_o the_o special_a assurance_n of_o it_o by_o can_v demonstrate_v for_o than_o it_o have_v be_v a_o poor_a manifestation_n of_o god_n who_o can_v see_v god_n in_o see_v all_o the_o man_n in_o the_o world_n or_o in_o all_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o world_n in_o their_o flesh_n but_o it_o set_v out_o a_o special_a way_n of_o assumption_n of_o our_o nature_n unto_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n who_o be_v god_n make_v these_o two_o nature_n but_o one_o person_n 2._o this_o manifestation_n be_v in_o union_n of_o flesh_n in_o the_o near_a way_n to_o god_n himself_o not_o as_o a_o lantern_n to_o hold_v the_o light_n only_o of_o god_n glory_n to_o our_o nature_n as_o to_o adam_n yet_o god_n do_v never_o unite_v any_o creature_n to_o himself_o before_o and_o though_o god_n be_v manifest_a to_o flesh_n yet_o never_o in_o flesh_n before_o that_o be_v the_o great_a mystery_n god_n be_v manifest_a to_o his_o saint_n but_o he_o be_v not_o manifest_v in_o the_o flesh_n or_o in_o the_o nature_n of_o any_o but_o jesus_n christ_n this_o be_v so_o great_a a_o manifestation_n as_o that_o god_n be_v become_v man_n as_o it_o be_v by_o reason_n of_o the_o union_n of_o their_o nature_n the_o word_n be_v make_v flesh_n and_o dwell_v among_o we_o act_v out_o his_o own_o love_n and_o grace_n and_o glory_n so_o the_o apostle_n say_v the_o blood_n of_o god_n be_v offer_v meaning_n that_o the_o efficacy_n and_o life_n of_o all_o that_o offering_n be_v from_o god_n in_o our_o nature_n use_v that_o as_o a_o organ_n or_o instrument_n to_o act_v by_o let_v unbelief_n come_v forth_o and_o make_v its_o plea_n and_o let_v it_o dare_v to_o appear_v before_o this_o consideration_n be_v not_o god_n enough_o to_o satisfy_v thy_o conscience_n oh_o come_v nigh_o poor_a soul_n see_v what_o a_o infinite_a ground_n of_o comfort_n be_v lay_v in_o for_o you_o let_v the_o rich_a and_o glorious_a open_n of_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o almighty_a overcome_v your_o heart_n have_v god_n speak_v from_o heaven_n by_o himself_o and_o call_v poor_a creature_n again_o what_o a_o heart_n of_o love_n be_v in_o this_o design_n and_o what_o a_o ground_n of_o eternal_a comfort_n and_o support_n be_v there_o to_o thy_o heart_n in_o this_o god_n be_v in_o thy_o own_o nature_n to_o take_v upon_o he_o all_o the_o misery_n of_o thy_o nature_n and_o to_o supply_v thy_o flesh_n with_o his_o fullness_n this_o be_v none_o other_o than_o god_n heart_n leap_v out_o into_o our_o bosom_n and_o as_o much_o as_o if_o god_n shall_v have_v say_v express_o poor_a soul_n i_o can_v keep_v from_o you_o i_o love_v your_o very_a nature_n i_o will_v be_v nothing_o so_o you_o seem_v to_o pass_v by_o and_o overlook_v the_o unworthiness_n of_o his_o creature_n himself_o disdain_v not_o to_o be_v as_o they_o be_v to_o wear_v their_o own_o flesh_n and_o 2._o that_o his_o justice_n may_v be_v satisfy_v and_o their_o heart_n quiet_v he_o have_v by_o the_o union_n of_o that_o flesh_n set_v up_o a_o person_n which_o be_v nothing_o but_o fullness_n and_o righteousness_n love_n and_o bowel_n to_o receive_v the_o first_o act_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o to_o have_v immediate_a union_n and_o communion_n with_o we_o and_o yet_o still_o this_o be_v god_n himself_o manifest_v to_o we_o and_o though_o we_o pitch_v not_o our_o say_v immediate_o on_o god_n yet_o at_o last_o we_o come_v to_o he_o and_o our_o faith_n live_v in_o god_n before_o it_o be_v aware_a as_o it_o be_v through_o the_o sweet_a intervention_n of_o that_o person_n which_o be_v god_n himself_o call_v but_o by_o another_o name_n take_v faith_n as_o it_o lie_v in_o adherence_n and_o recumbency_n or_o as_o it_o may_v be_v sometime_o take_v for_o a_o act_n of_o assurance_n both_o have_v enough_o to_o lay_v hold_v on_o in_o this_o mystery_n for_o the_o first_o take_v the_o poor_a soul_n that_o the_o righteousness_n and_o riches_n of_o such_o a_o poor_a foul_a and_o that_o in_o such_o a_o way_n as_o he_o shall_v be_v judge_n with_o his_o own_o eye_n and_o for_o the_o faith_n of_o assurance_n encouragement_n and_o a_o person_n to_o close_v with_o and_o in_o both_o you_o have_v a_o suitableness_n from_o this_o that_o god_n be_v manifest_a in_o flesh_n that_o god_n be_v manifest_v in_o such_o a_o way_n as_o flesh_n be_v enough_o to_o move_v any_o heart_n to_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v as_o he_o act_n but_o this_o expression_n do_v not_o only_o stir_v up_o hope_n but_o fit_v the_o very_a person_n so_o sweet_o as_o if_o one_o will_v desire_v or_o propose_v a_o thing_n to_o one_o desire_n it_o can_v not_o be_v more_o qualify_v than_o this_o that_o god_n be_v manifest_v in_o flesh_n for_o here_o be_v god_n himself_o bring_v down_o to_o our_o term_n and_o make_v subject_a to_o our_o own_o proposition_n oh_o that_o this_o exhortation_n may_v be_v of_o force_n but_o to_o improve_v this_o glorious_a design_n to_o the_o supply_n of_o all_o your_o want_n and_o the_o make_n up_o all_o your_o loss_n and_o when_o you_o make_v use_v of_o christ_n go_v not_o to_o he_o as_o
