certain_a vanity_n of_o this_o world_n and_o all_o its_o pleasure_n and_o of_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n promise_v of_o the_o heavenly_a glory_n as_o that_o by_o faith_n we_o have_v there_o place_v our_o chief_a hope_n and_o there_o expect_v our_o chief_a felicity_n and_o make_v it_o our_o chief_a business_n in_o this_o world_n to_o seek_v it_o prefer_v no_o worldly_a thing_n before_o it_o but_o resolve_v for_o the_o hope_n of_o it_o to_o forsake_v they_o all_o when_o god_n require_v it_o this_o be_v the_o first_o part_n of_o our_o preparation_n for_o death_n 33._o ii_o when_o we_o believe_v that_o this_o mercy_n be_v give_v by_o christ_n the_o mediator_n between_o god_n and_o man_n and_o trust_v in_o his_o merit_n and_o intercession_n with_o the_o father_n and_o take_v he_o for_o our_o teacher_n also_o and_o our_o ruler_n resolve_v to_o obey_v his_o word_n and_o spirit_n this_o be_v the_o second_o part_n of_o our_o preparation_n for_o death_n 16._o iii_o when_o the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v shed_v abroad_o god_n love_n upon_o our_o heart_n and_o turn_v their_o nature_n into_o a_o habit_n of_o love_n to_o god_n and_o holiness_n and_o give_v we_o a_o victory_n over_o that_o love_n of_o the_o world_n and_o fleshly_a prosperity_n and_o pleasure_n which_o rule_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o carnal_a man_n though_o yet_o our_o love_n show_v itself_o but_o in_o such_o mortification_n and_o endeavour_v and_o grief_n for_o what_o we_o want_v we_o be_v prepare_v for_o a_o safe_a death_n 13._o but_o if_o the_o foreta_v of_o heavenly_a glory_n and_o sense_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n do_v make_v our_o thought_n of_o heaven_n sweet_a to_o we_o than_o our_o thought_n of_o our_o earthly_a hope_n and_o cause_v we_o out_o of_o love_n to_o god_n and_o our_o glorify_a redeemer_n and_o his_o church_n and_o out_o of_o love_n to_o a_o life_n of_o perfect_a knowledge_n love_n and_o
