form_v and_o bear_v of_o the_o spirit_n and_o as_o he_o spring_v up_o in_o the_o life_n he_o be_v to_o forget_v his_o own_o country_n live_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o walk_v in_o the_o spirit_n where_o watch_v to_o the_o spirit_n and_o against_o his_o own_o reason_n in_o the_o pure_a childishess_n in_o the_o simple_a instinct_n and_o naturalness_n of_o the_o life_n he_o shall_v at_o length_n find_v a_o reason_n new_o form_v and_o spring_a up_o in_o he_o which_o wait_v on_o the_o lord_n in_o obedience_n and_o subjection_n shall_v be_v take_v into_o unity_n with_o the_o life_n but_o if_o the_o eye_n of_o reason_n open_a too_o fast_o and_o be_v not_o keep_v down_o to_o the_o light_n of_o life_n the_o betrayer_n will_v enter_v again_o at_o that_o door_n and_o bring_v the_o soul_n into_o death_n after_o it_o have_v have_v sweet_a and_o precious_a taste_n of_o the_o redeem_v virtue_n and_o power_n quest_n can_v man_n in_o the_o fall_n see_v his_o fall_a estate_n and_o so_o seek_v attract_v he_o from_o the_o one_o to_o the_o other_o according_a to_o the_o lord_n be_v good_a pleasure_n who_o be_v both_o the_o light_n and_o also_o the_o determination_n of_o the_o proportion_n of_o every_o man_n visitation_n by_o it_o quest_n but_o have_v not_o man_n natural_o a_o light_n in_o the_o fall_v estate_n which_o discover_v unto_o he_o good_a and_o evil_a answ_n not_o a_o true_a light_n not_o a_o true_a discovery_n but_o only_o somewhat_o which_o the_o enemy_n set_v up_o in_o man_n as_o such_o to_o keep_v he_o in_o the_o entanglement_n of_o the_o deceit_n and_o out_o of_o the_o fall_n answ_n a_o state_n of_o false_a light_n of_o false_a life_n of_o false_a liberty_n he_o seem_v to_o himself_o advance_v in_o wisdom_n above_o the_o low_a empty_a naked_a estate_n of_o innocency_n which_o be_v nothing_o and_o have_v nothing_o but_o by_o a_o continual_a dependence_n on_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o creator_n he_o seem_v also_o advance_v in_o life_n advance_v in_o liberty_n he_o can_v speak_v his_o own_o word_n think_v his_o own_o thought_n do_v his_o own_o will_n seek_v himself_o please_v himself_o satisfy_v himself_o the_o life_n of_o righteousness_n be_v a_o the_o heart_n object_n then_o the_o work_n of_o redemption_n be_v not_o carry_v on_o by_o a_o absolute_a free-creating_a power_n answ_n the_o create_a power_n and_o preserve_a power_n be_v the_o same_o but_o the_o work_n be_v somewhat_o different_a both_o in_o the_o outward_a visible_a creation_n and_o in_o the_o inward_a new-creation_n the_o preservation_n of_o that_o which_o be_v create_v thereby_o convince_a and_o draw_v it_o out_o of_o the_o alienation_n from_o the_o life_n towards_o unity_n with_o the_o life_n three_o there_o be_v the_o follow_v of_o the_o creature_n after_o the_o life_n in_o the_o quicken_a virtue_n of_o the_o drawing_n through_o all_o the_o snare_n temptation_n diversion_n and_o opposition_n of_o the_o enemy_n now_o there_o be_v no_o hinder_v of_o the_o issue_v forth_o of_o the_o free_a grace_n towards_o the_o creature_n or_o of_o those_o conviction_n and_o inclination_n of_o the_o creature_n to_o follow_v which_o necessary_o ensue_v thereupon_o but_o the_o pursuit_n and_o progress_n of_o the_o creature_n or_o its_o abide_n with_o the_o quicken_a virtue_n and_o power_n may_v many_o way_n be_v interrupt_v and_o divert_v and_o so_o the_o creature_n draw_v from_o under_o the_o influence_n of_o the_o free_a covenant_n for_o though_o the_o covenant_n be_v free_a yet_o the_o creature_n only_o partake_v of_o it_o as_o it_o be_v draw_v into_o it_o and_o preserve_v in_o it_o therefore_o let_v those_o fear_n who_o feel_v the_o power_n and_o redeem_v virtue_n and_o know_v that_o notwithstanding_o the_o free_a and_o certain_a promise_n person_n or_o any_o of_o those_o end_n and_o purpose_n for_o which_o it_o be_v wrought_v and_o appoint_v so_o to_o be_v do_v by_o the_o father_n though_o this_o i_o know_v that_o the_o knowledge_n of_o those_o thing_n with_o the_o belief_n therein_o or_o any_o practice_n and_o observation_n therefrom_o without_o the_o life_n can_v no_o more_o profit_n now_o than_o the_o jew_n literal_a knowledge_n of_o the_o law_n can_v profit_v they_o when_o they_o be_v reject_v therewith_o and_o since_o the_o apostasy_n of_o this_o latter_a age_n especial_o i_o have_v clear_o see_v in_o the_o
