be_v not_o deceive_v in_o the_o comfort_n and_o contentment_n which_o we_o promise_v ourselves_o and_o when_o we_o take_v notice_n of_o all_o the_o please_a motion_n that_o be_v in_o our_o heart_n and_o due_o mark_v and_o observe_v the_o sweetness_n of_o they_o before_o this_o reflection_n and_o self-observation_n our_o soul_n be_v only_o touch_v by_o the_o object_n
imagine_v that_o the_o prolong_a harmony_n of_o one_o day_n shall_v it_o bless_v the_o soul_n will_v make_v it_o account_v all_o the_o pleasure_n in_o this_o world_n harsh_a and_o troublesome_a and_o cause_v it_o to_o cry_v out_o as_o the_o man_n st._n hierom_n speak_v of_o who_o after_o he_o have_v dream_v he_o be_v in_o paradise_n call_v still_o to_o those_o who_o be_v about_o he_o set_v i_o of_o which_o by_o your_o own_o confession_n must_v needs_o be_v more_o desirable_a than_o all_o that_o can_v be_v express_v by_o music_n and_o sweet_a air_n and_o melodious_a strain_n and_o song_n or_o any_o such_o like_a word_n which_o must_v be_v acknowledge_v to_o be_v weak_a and_o imperfect_a able_a to_o express_v only_o the_o outward_a image_n and_o shadow_n of_o those_o divine_a enjoyment_n and_o the_o more_o perfect_o you_o digest_v and_o frequent_o excite_v such_o thought_n as_o these_o the_o more_o you_o will_v apprehend_v of_o this_o bliss_n and_o the_o more_o impossible_a it_o will_v be_v that_o any_o thing_n shall_v hinder_v you_o from_o beginning_n to_o be_v so_o happy_a by_o devote_v yourselves_o to_o a_o christian_a life_n one_o part_n of_o which_o be_v to_o praise_v and_o bless_v the_o lord_n at_o all_o time_n to_o bear_v in_o your_o grateful_a mind_n a_o faithful_a remembrance_n of_o his_o benefit_n and_o to_o express_v it_o as_o oft_o as_o you_o can_v in_o the_o most_o thankful_a acknowlegment_n in_o which_o exercise_n whilst_o you_o serious_o employ_v yourselves_o you_o will_v be_v able_a thereby_o to_o know_v in_o part_n what_o the_o will_v be_v far_o remote_a from_o that_o happy_a world_n where_o they_o will_v be_v fix_v in_o their_o happiness_n because_o they_o will_v be_v fix_v in_o their_o obedience_n which_o as_o it_o may_v grow_v it_o be_v possible_a still_o more_o and_o more_o cheerful_a so_o it_o will_v infuse_v a_o great_a sense_n of_o the_o divine_a love_n into_o their_o heart_n and_o every_o act_n wherein_o they_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n may_v be_v reward_v perhaps_o with_o a_o great_a increase_n of_o happiness_n who_o will_v not_o choose_v then_o to_o obey_v god_n now_o that_o hereafter_o he_o may_v not_o be_v able_a to_o do_v otherwise_o who_o will_v not_o strive_v to_o bring_v his_o will_n in_o subjection_n to_o christ_n that_o he_o may_v at_o last_o exchange_v his_o own_o will_v whole_o for_o he_o commendation_n of_o it_o that_o after_o such_o a_o height_n of_o knowledge_n love_n and_o joy_n as_o we_o shall_v arrive_v unto_o at_o first_o we_o shall_v be_v advance_v to_o a_o great_a nearness_n
