complain_v of_o the_o depravity_n and_o corruption_n of_o your_o nature_n belch_v out_o many_o time_n in_o prodigious_a thought_n of_o your_o heart_n it_o may_v be_v against_o the_o goodness_n or_o justice_n or_o perhaps_o against_o the_o very_a essence_n of_o the_o divine_a majesty_n the_o more_o holy_a you_o desire_v to_o be_v the_o more_o grievous_a will_v such_o thought_n as_o you_o call_v they_o be_v unto_o you_o therefore_o be_v please_v to_o consider_v 1._o that_o in_o my_o judgement_n many_o of_o these_o be_v not_o your_o own_o thought_n or_o motion_n of_o corrupt_a nature_n in_o you_o as_o you_o conceive_v but_o real_o injection_n of_o satan_n strong_o savour_v of_o malice_n against_o god_n and_o the_o merciful_a work_n of_o our_o redemption_n this_o itake_n to_o be_v it_o trial_n from_o god_n for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o power_n of_o his_o grace_n in_o man_n soul_n and_o i_o suppose_v they_o be_v not_o due_o styld_v our_o thought_n till_o they_o be_v admit_v and_o treat_v by_o we_o they_o then_o become_v our_o finfull_a thought_n assoon_o as_o we_o incline_v to_o entertain_v and_o inâ—â—r_v ace_n they_o and_o 2_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o such_o as_o these_o may_v be_v inject_v into_o holy_a man_n as_o in_o the_o case_n of_o david_n and_o peter_n as_o we_o have_v instance_a before_o yea_o and_o not_o so_o only_o but_o they_o may_v be_v harden_v to_o and_o embrace_v and_o consequent_o their_o state_n endanger_v till_o renew_v again_o by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n wherefore_o if_o you_o reject_v and_o not_o own_v they_o grieve_v for_o they_o as_o punishment_n for_o sin_n pray_v against_o they_o and_o perfect_o hate_v they_o with_o what_o ever_o be_v the_o author_n of_o they_o have_v a_o holy_a jealousy_n over_o your_o own_o nature_n labour_v to_o shut_v the_o den_n of_o your_o heart_n against_o such_o intruder_n and_o to_o give_v the_o possession_n of_o the_o considerable_a fort_n to_o better_a friend_n to_o your_o salvation_n
