therefore_o do_v so_o and_o so_o since_o this_o be_v the_o spring_n of_o all_o obedience_n we_o ought_v to_o labour_v to_o make_v it_o good_a and_o often_o to_o examine_v ourselves_o as_o before_o what_o we_o make_v our_o god_n and_o what_o we_o pitch_v our_o affection_n on_o alas_o be_v our_o soul_n for_o any_o thing_n but_o god_n have_v not_o god_n make_v we_o for_o himself_o and_o will_v our_o heart_n rest_v in_o any_o thing_n but_o god_n why_o then_o shall_v we_o love_v vanity_n and_o besot_v ourselves_o when_o death_n come_v they_o may_v say_v as_o saul_n say_v the_o philistine_n be_v upon_o i_o and_o god_n have_v forsake_v i_o death_n be_v on_o i_o trouble_n sickness_n vexation_n of_o conscience_n be_v on_o i_o and_o god_n have_v forsake_v heaven_n i_o i_o have_v no_o god_n to_o go_v to_o what_o a_o miserable_a estate_n be_v this_o and_o therefore_o i_o beseech_v you_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o have_v interest_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n to_o make_v it_o good_a that_o god_n be_v our_o god_n in_o jesus_n christ_n who_o give_v we_o a_o be_v to_o be_v christian_n to_o have_v a_o new_a nature_n to_o have_v a_o good_a be_v but_o god_n who_o maintain_v and_o preserve_v that_o be_v but_o god_n and_o who_o keep_v and_o preserve_v we_o till_o we_o get_v into_o a_o glorious_a be_v in_o heaven_n but_o god_n who_o be_v all-sufficient_a self-sufficient_a sole-sufficient_a only_o sufficient_a this_o god_n be_v our_o god_n now_o in_o christ_n god_n be_v to_o we_o in_o a_o more_o special_a singular_a manner_n then_o to_o other_o creature_n because_o he_o have_v raise_v we_o to_o a_o more_o excellent_a be_v not_o only_o as_o man_n we_o be_v in_o the_o high_a rank_n of_o creature_n next_o the_o angel_n and_o so_o he_o be_v a_o god_n to_o we_o more_o than_o to_o inferior_a creature_n that_o have_v a_o more_o circumscribe_v and_o narrow_a be_v man_n have_v a_o large_a be_v a_o reasonable_a soul_n and_o be_v fit_v by_o nature_n to_o have_v communion_n with_o god_n who_o be_v wisdom_n itself_o and_o with_o angel_n but_o all_o this_o be_v little_a comfort_n unless_o we_o have_v high_a degree_n of_o be_v then_o this_o if_o god_n be_v our_o god_n in_o christ_n we_o have_v a_o spiritual_a be_v which_o be_v as_o much_o above_o the_o dignity_n and_o prerogative_n of_o our_o ordinary_a be_v as_o our_o be_v by_o nature_n be_v above_o the_o base_a creature_n in_o the_o world_n and_o so_o god_n set_v a_o stile_n upon_o we_o suitable_a to_o the_o excellency_n of_o our_o spiritual_a be_v there_o be_v nothing_o excellent_a in_o the_o world_n but_o we_o be_v learn_v by_o it_o now_o to_o let_v out_o the_o advancement_n and_o excellency_n of_o the_o dignity_n we_o have_v from_o god_n in_o a_o special_a manner_n to_o be_v son_n jewel_n his_o portion_n his_o diadem_n to_o be_v whatsoever_o you_o can_v imagine_v that_o be_v glorious_a and_o excellent_a a_o excellent_a condition_n though_o spiritual_a and_o conceal_v from_o the_o world_n god_n child_n be_v conceal_v man_n as_o you_o shall_v see_v afterward_o they_o be_v hide_v man_n the_o world_n take_v no_o notice_n of_o they_o because_o their_o excellency_n be_v see_v with_o another_o eye_n than_o the_o world_n have_v the_o god_n of_o the_o world_n blind_v the_o eye_n of_o worldling_n they_o can_v see_v into_o the_o excellency_n of_o god_n child_n no_o more_o than_o they_o can_v know_v god_n himself_o and_o christ_n himself_o so_o you_o see_v what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v a_o god_n in_o nature_n and_o in_o grace_n to_o be_v all_o in_o all_o unto_o we_o to_o have_v our_o whole_a subsistence_n and_o dependence_n in_o he_o in_o he_o we_o live_v and_o move_v and_o have_v our_o be_v and_o well-being_n in_o this_o our_o excellency_n consist_v that_o god_n be_v our_o god_n in_o christ_n who_o be_v god_n and_o that_o he_o may_v bring_v god_n and_o we_o to_o good_a term_n together_o that_o he_o may_v make_v god_n our_o god_n he_o be_v emanuel_n god_n with_o we_o to_o make_v god_n with_o we_o in_o favour_n and_o love_n the_o godhead_n be_v near_a the_o humane_a nature_n angel_n of_o christ_n of_o any_o creature_n it_o be_v near_o to_o christ_n then_o to_o the_o angel_n for_o god_n have_v not_o take_v the_o angel_n into_o hypostatical_a union_n to_o be_v in_o the_o same_o person_n but_o god_n in_o christ_n be_v so_o near_o our_o nature_n that_o there_o be_v a_o hypostatical_a union_n they_o make_v one_o person_n our_o nature_n be_v take_v into_o the_o second_o person_n by_o reason_n of_o this_o near_a union_n of_o the_o godhead_n to_o our_o nature_n come_v that_o comfort_n and_o near_a union_n between_o god_n and_o our_o nature_n whereby_o god_n have_v sweet_a communion_n with_o we_o in_o christ_n god_n by_o his_o spirit_n though_o not_o hypostatical_o yet_o gracious_o be_v one_o with_o we_o and_o have_v communion_n with_o we_o now_o as_o his_o child_n so_o that_o sweet_a intercourse_n between_o god_n and_o we_o now_o be_v found_v upon_o the_o nearness_n of_o the_o godhead_n to_o our_o nature_n in_o christ_n
