they_o and_o contemn_v the_o glory_n and_o joy_n of_o the_o world_n in_o respect_n of_o they_o the_o content_n of_o the_o forty_o sermon_n here_o he_o enter_v upon_o the_o last_o point_n in_o the_o conclusion_n of_o the_o epistle_n namely_o praise_n and_o thanksgiving_n to_o god_n show_v that_o the_o apostle_n conclude_v their_o epistle_n with_o it_o and_o often_o upon_o the_o mention_v of_o god_n abundant_a mercy_n in_o christ_n break_v out_o into_o it_o that_o david_n be_v very_o frequent_a in_o it_o and_o so_o be_v all_o the_o saint_n and_o we_o ought_v to_o imitate_v they_o and_o praise_n god_n according_a to_o all_o the_o attribute_n whereof_o jude_n mention_v six_o viz._n wisdom_n salvation_n glory_n majesty_n dominion_n power_n he_o insi_v in_o this_o sermon_n in_o three_o of_o they_o namely_o wisdom_n salvation_n and_o glory_n and_o show_v first_o that_o only_a god_n be_v wise_a all_o man_n be_v either_o ignorant_a or_o have_v but_o natural_a worldly_a wisdom_n not_o true_a wisdom_n until_o god_n infuse_v it_o that_o god_n wisdom_n appear_v in_o create_v and_o dispose_v all_o thing_n but_o especial_o in_o preserve_v and_o govern_v his_o church_n and_o exhort_v to_o submit_v unto_o it_o second_o he_o proceed_v to_o the_o second_o attribute_n of_o saviour_n and_o show_v that_o this_o be_v the_o most_o comfortable_a to_o we_o and_o that_o he_o save_v by_o christ_n yea_o that_o the_o name_n of_o saviour_n be_v proper_a to_o christ_n who_o purchase_v salvation_n for_o we_o by_o his_o death_n that_o we_o must_v therefore_o be_v thankful_a to_o he_o not_o derogate_v from_o his_o glory_n as_o the_o papist_n do_v mince_a christ_n merit_n and_o mix_v with_o it_o their_o own_o and_o ascribe_v too_o much_o to_o nature_n and_o free_a will_n he_o proceed_v to_o the_o three_o attribute_n of_o god_n namely_o glory_n that_o this_o be_v a_o acceptable_a sacrifice_n to_o god_n but_o neglect_v by_o we_o we_o pray_v in_o our_o want_n not_o praise_n god_n when_o they_o be_v supply_v that_o we_o ought_v to_o perform_v this_o duty_n continual_o and_o if_o we_o do_v not_o glorify_v god_n here_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v glorify_v with_o he_o hereafter_o he_o reprove_v two_o sort_n that_o rob_v god_n of_o his_o glory_n the_o proud_a and_o the_o envious_a we_o must_v not_o imitate_v they_o but_o praise_n god_n always_o in_o all_o thing_n with_o all_o
