cast_v thyself_o down_o yet_o you_o shall_v observe_v these_o temptation_n most_o fall_v upon_o man_n of_o loose_a life_n and_o conversation_n at_o least_o do_v most_o ordinary_o prevail_v against_o such_o the_o ordinary_a motive_n that_o prevail_v with_o soul_n to_o do_v this_o thing_n be_v the_o avoid_n of_o some_o great_a evil_n which_o either_o they_o have_v in_o prospect_n or_o feel_v the_o these_o terror_n and_o pang_n of_o conscience_n arise_v from_o the_o soul_n reflection_n upon_o its_o gild_n in_o respect_n of_o sin_n thus_o the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o judas_n hang_v himself_o in_o short_a take_v heed_n of_o all_o bold_a sinning_n against_o light_n and_o check_n or_o reverberation_n of_o conscience_n if_o we_o will_v not_o hearken_v to_o the_o light_a check_n and_o to_o have_v be_v the_o notion_n of_o some_o eminent_a divine_n upon_o our_o first_o reformation_n but_o be_v reject_v by_o latter_a divine_n as_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o that_o shall_v be_v a_o instrument_n in_o our_o justification_n which_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o any_o soul_n shall_v have_v till_o it_o be_v justify_v beside_o that_o many_o a_o pious_a devout_a soul_n have_v not_o arrive_v at_o this_o 4._o other_o make_v it_o to_o be_v a_o confident_a persuasion_n that_o christ_n die_v for_o they_o whether_o they_o find_v themselves_o oblige_v to_o live_v to_o he_o yea_o purgatory_n when_o alas_o poor_a wretch_n they_o be_v in_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n from_o which_o be_v no_o redemption_n for_o ever_o but_o it_o be_v enough_o to_o have_v name_v these_o horrible_a thing_n this_o ridiculous_a fire_n serve_v now_o for_o nothing_o but_o to_o keep_v the_o pope_n kitchen_n warm_a and_o the_o priest_n pot_n boil_v and_o to_o damn_v poor_a silly_a papist_n by_o presumption_n it_o hardly_o hurt_v a_o very_a ordinary_a protestant_n conscience_n but_o i_o shall_v enlarge_v no_o further_o upon_o this_o first_o direction_n for_o avoid_v a_o temptation_n to_o a_o sinner_n may_v dwell_v in_o his_o sight_n whereas_o god_n can_v not_o be_v god_n if_o he_o can_v not_o be_v just_o or_o not_o be_v holy_a and_o pure_a holiness_n be_v a_o piece_n of_o god_n glory_n he_o be_v not_o only_o glorious_a in_o majesty_n but_o he_o be_v also_o glorious_a in_o holiness_n 2._o and_o as_o the_o justice_n and_o purity_n of_o god_n be_v impeach_v by_o presumption_n either_o can_v or_o will_v not_o be_v revenge_v upon_o sinner_n that_o can_v declare_v one_o thing_n and_o do_v another_o 2._o second_o the_o magnitude_n of_o any_o sin_n be_v well_o take_v and_o
