faith_n be_v as_o well_o assure_v that_o god_n in_o christ_n will_v show_v he_o mercy_n and_o forgive_v he_o all_o his_o sin_n through_o his_o obedience_n as_o he_o that_o have_v more_o strength_n of_o it_o and_o even_o in_o that_o infirmity_n reap_v and_o receive_v singular_a comfort_n though_o not_o in_o the_o weakness_n itself_o yet_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o object_n that_o that_o weak_a instrument_n lay_v assure_v hold_n of_o and_o apply_v to_o itself_o 11_o they_o have_v a_o other_o argument_n which_o they_o do_v not_o only_o frame_v and_o fashion_n but_o press_v &_o urge_v again_o and_o again_o in_o manner_n and_o form_n follow_v natural_a thing_n say_v they_o be_v unchaungeable_a but_o to_o doubt_v concern_v god_n grace_n and_o our_o reconciliation_n with_o he_o be_v sillogisgisme_n we_o say_v that_o in_o diverse_a respect_n it_o be_v and_o may_v be_v true_a and_o in_o diverse_a respect_n again_o it_o be_v not_o true_a but_o false_a natural_a thing_n be_v unchangeable_a to_o wit_n so_o long_o as_o they_o continue_v so_o &_o be_v not_o alter_v or_o change_v by_o his_o hand_n that_o be_v the_o lord_n of_o nature_n or_o by_o soon_o extraordinary_a course_n that_o he_o be_v please_v to_o permit_v and_o appoint_v for_o then_o when_o he_o that_o be_v lord_n over_o all_o will_v have_v a_o alteration_n the_o creature_n must_v of_o necessity_n by_o right_a of_o creation_n and_o by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o creator_n yield_v thereunto_o and_o this_o be_v it_o that_o the_o prophet_n teach_v psal_n 104._o saying_n all_o thing_n wait_v upon_o nature_n be_v unchangeable_a the_o reason_n be_v because_o nature_n so_o deform_v can_v set_v a_o foot_n forward_o to_o reformation_n or_o alteration_n of_o itself_o but_o rather_o will_v proceed_v in_o the_o power_n of_o the_o corruption_n of_o it_o and_o special_o also_o when_o it_o be_v egg_v forward_o with_o satan_n malice_n from_o evil_a to_o worse_o yet_o that_o hinder_v not_o but_o by_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o be_v the_o power_n of_o god_n to_o salvation_n to_o every_o one_o that_o believe_v and_o by_o many_o other_o mean_n and_o help_n as_o particular_o the_o gracious_a work_n of_o his_o bless_a spirit_n this_o work_n of_o change_v and_o alter_v our_o nature_n not_o only_o may_v but_o as_o we_o see_v by_o former_a and_o daily_a experience_n be_v bring_v to_o pass_v for_o as_o nothing_o can_v hinder_v he_o but_o further_o he_o rather_o when_o he_o command_v light_a to_o shine_v out_o of_o darkness_n so_o nothing_o now_o can_v stop_v his_o work_n but_o shall_v further_o it_o rather_o in_o change_v that_o curse_a and_o corrupt_a nature_n of_o we_o so_o that_o though_o this_o be_v true_a that_o by_o force_n and_o power_n of_o nature_n they_o can_v be_v remoove_v or_o change_v yet_o that_o let_v not_o but_o that_o this_o also_o may_v be_v true_a that_o by_o god_n word_n outward_o and_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n inward_o accompany_v &_o make_v the_o same_o fruitful_a they_o may_v in_o they_o that_o believe_v by_o little_a and_o little_a not_o only_o be_v alter_v and_o change_v but_o at_o the_o last_o be_v utter_o change_v which_o be_v more_o and_o as_o for_o the_o minor_a or_o assumption_n we_o say_v that_o in_o this_o sense_n and_o after_o this_o sort_n namely_o that_o not_o as_o nature_n be_v first_o create_v of_o god_n for_o so_o it_o can_v not_o choose_v but_o be_v as_o he_o be_v
exceed_o good_a but_o as_o after_o the_o fall_n of_o our_o first_o parent_n it_o be_v derive_v and_o covey_v over_o unto_o we_o that_o so_o to_o doubt_v of_o the_o grace_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n for_o the_o save_n of_o our_o soul_n etc._n etc._n be_v very_o natural_a indeed_o that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o in_o and_o through_o this_o depravation_n and_o corruption_n of_o that_o excellent_a nature_n which_o by_o creation_n be_v infuse_v into_o our_o first_o parent_n and_o in_o they_o to_o all_o their_o posterity_n have_v they_o continue_v therein_o because_o we_o be_v all_o in_o their_o loin_n to_o have_v be_v partaker_n of_o their_o excellent_a grace_n by_o creation_n as_o well_o as_o we_o be_v of_o their_o sin_n by_o transgression_n man_n do_v doubt_n of_o god_n his_o goodness_n etc._n etc._n and_o though_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o man_n natural_a or_o faculty_n or_o power_n that_o they_o have_v in_o they_o as_o of_o they_o we_o acknowledge_v it_o impossible_a to_o alter_v or_o change_v this_o doubt_v and_o distrustfulness_n yet_o by_o god_n to_o who_o all_o thing_n be_v possible_a and_o by_o his_o singular_a help_n aid_n and_o grace_n it_o be_v not_o only_o in_o his_o own_o people_n much_o alter_v in_o this_o life_n though_o the_o work_n be_v wrought_v by_o little_a and_o little_a and_o as_o it_o be_v by_o certain_a step_n and_o degree_n but_o in_o they_o shall_v be_v utter_o abolish_v and_o take_v away_o in_o the_o life_n that_o be_v for_o to_o come_v god_n work_v it_o here_o but_o in_o measure_n and_o there_o in_o absolutenes_n and_o perfection_n not_o because_o he_o be_v not_o able_a here_o to_o do_v it_o for_o what_o be_v he_o not_o able_a to_o perform_v to_o show_v what_o hindrance_n we_o have_v in_o ourselves_o against_o his_o gracious_a work_n partly_o from_o ourselves_o and_o partly_o from_o satan_n malice_n and_o also_o that_o he_o may_v instruct_v we_o with_o holy_a desire_n to_o hunger_n dongue_z draw_v out_o of_o the_o beastly_a puddle_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n thus_o therefore_o they_o yet_o press_v and_o urge_v this_o point_n natural_a thing_n that_o be_v such_o thing_n as_o we_o have_v natural_o in_o our_o mind_n be_v not_o sin_n but_o doubt_v be_v natural_a therefore_o it_o be_v not_o sin_n we_o answer_v to_o the_o proposition_n or_o mayor_n by_o distinguish_v natural_a thing_n be_v of_o two_o sort_n that_o be_v either_o such_o as_o we_o have_v first_o from_o god_n by_o creation_n &_o remain_v some_o of_o they_o in_o we_o as_o yet_o untainted_a be_v not_o sin_n as_o for_o example_n our_o fear_n our_o love_n etc._n etc._n simple_o and_o in_o themselves_o consider_v as_o it_o be_v not_o sin_n in_o itself_o to_o have_v that_o passion_n of_o fear_n or_o that_o affection_n of_o fear_n as_o to_o our_o child_n etc._n etc._n so_o that_o they_o be_v free_v from_o extremity_n and_o such_o thing_n in_o the_o consideration_n before_o express_v be_v not_o to_o be_v account_v simple_o sin_n or_o evil_n but_o there_o be_v some_o thing_n now_o count_v natural_a which_o have_v both_o come_v upon_o &_o prevail_v upon_o the_o purity_n of_o our_o nature_n as_o it_o be_v in_o creation_n as_o for_o example_n ignorance_n in_o steed_n of_o our_o knowledge_n doubt_v or_o distrustfulnes_n in_o stead_n of_o our_o hope_n etc._n etc._n and_o these_o can_v choose_v but_o be_v evil_a for_o even_o as_o our_o creation_n and_o all_o the_o thing_n we_o have_v therein_o come_v from_o god_n make_v we_o to_o be_v denominate_v good_a because_o nothing_o can_v come_v from_o he_o but_o that_o which_o be_v good_a so_o these_o proceed_n from_o a_o contrary_a fountain_n that_o be_v satan_n and_o his_o malice_n can_v choose_v but_o be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n that_o he_o be_v of_o that_o be_v evil_a &_o sinful_a and_o therefore_o concern_v doubt_v say_v that_o it_o be_v natural_a indeed_o but_o not_o as_o from_o our_o first_o creation_n for_o than_o it_o shall_v also_o while_o by_o other_o man_n their_o sin_n may_v be_v answer_v &_o god_n judgement_n satisfy_v shall_v not_o be_v either_o public_o or_o private_o propound_v and_o the_o same_o may_v we_o affirm_v of_o all_o other_o doctrine_n of_o the_o like_a nature_n but_o if_o there_o be_v any_o true_a and_o holy_a doctrine_n upon_o which_o this_o blame_n light_v or_o be_v say_v through_o the_o malice_n and_o transgression_n of_o man_n or_o by_o occasion_n as_o we_o say_v or_o through_o the_o fault_n negligence_n or_o ignorance_n of_o they_o that_o abuse_v it_o or_o be_v offend_v at_o it_o from_o all_o because_o some_o eat_v to_o surffet_v and_o drink_n to_o drunkenness_n to_o make_v this_o plain_a by_o some_o example_n out_o of_o the_o word_n what_o be_v more_o sweet_a than_o the_o doctrine_n of_o god_n grace_n and_o yet_o because_o some_o turn_n it_o into_o wantonness_n as_o in_o the_o apostle_n time_n and_o our_o day_n shall_v it_o not_o therefore_o be_v hear_v sound_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n what_o be_v more_o comfortable_a than_o the_o doctrine_n of_o forgiunesse_fw-fr of_o sin_n through_o christ_n obedience_n and_o yet_o because_o some_o then_o and_o now_o adays_o also_o hear_v this_o that_o where_o sin_n have_v abound_v there_o grace_n have_v abound_v much_o more_o do_v and_o do_v shameless_o and_o graceles_o utter_v these_o word_n let_v we_o not_o abolish_v the_o doctrine_n itself_o because_o it_o be_v sure_a and_o permanent_a even_o as_o god_n the_o author_n thereof_o be_v &_o can_v be_v better_v or_o make_v worse_o be_v humane_a corruption_n special_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o it_o own_o nature_n so_o this_o be_v certain_a also_o that_o in_o all_o godly_a wisdom_n and_o understanding_n rather_o the_o abuse_n of_o it_o shall_v be_v take_v away_o than_o the_o doctrine_n itself_o with_o hold_v or_o if_o that_o can_v be_v yet_o the_o same_o deliver_v with_o such_o holy_a caution_n as_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o ungodly_a that_o they_o be_v charge_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n but_o to_o lay_v unclean_a or_o violent_a hand_n upon_o the_o sacred_a truth_n of_o god_n not_o belong_v unto_o they_o and_o such_o comfort_n to_o the_o godly_a that_o it_o shall_v rather_o speak_v in_o a_o clear_a and_o loud_a voice_n then_o be_v mute_a and_o dumb_a as_o we_o say_v in_o the_o church_n and_o this_o beside_o that_o it_o be_v god_n own_o ordinance_n and_o therefore_o shall_v prevail_v it_o be_v more_o equal_a in_o all_o upright_a judgement_n and_o therefore_o also_o to_o be_v embrace_v to_o the_o minor_a affirm_v that_o the_o doctrine_n teach_v certainty_n of_o salvation_n etc._n etc._n make_v man_n secure_a and_o careless_a we_o answer_v that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o if_o they_o consider_v the_o more_o lively_a and_o powerful_o affect_v this_o doubt_v be_v not_o faith_n neither_o indeed_o do_v it_o flow_v from_o faith_n neither_o be_v it_o of_o the_o notice_n or_o nature_n of_o faith_n but_o come_v from_o our_o weakness_n as_o before_o have_v be_v say_v &_o fight_v against_o faith_n though_o it_o be_v true_a in_o that_o combat_n and_o conflict_n faith_n do_v overcome_v and_o get_v the_o may_v cause_v they_o to_o fear_n or_o tremble_v or_o behold_v in_o he_o largeness_n in_o promise_n &_o faithfulness_n in_o perform_v and_o so_o not_o only_o believe_v in_o he_o but_o rejoice_v also_o in_o a_o word_n the_o apostle_n mind_v not_o to_o command_v man_n to_o doubt_v of_o god_n grace_n &_o their_o own_o salvation_n for_o that_o have_v be_v direct_o contrary_a to_o the_o truth_n that_o so_o fall_v out_o that_o he_o have_v some_o hide_a or_o unknown_a sin_n through_o which_o he_o have_v displease_v god_n but_o no_o man_n know_v or_o understand_v all_o his_o sin_n &_o this_o assumption_n they_o prove_v by_o a_o place_n of_o the_o prophet_n psal_n 19_o where_o he_o say_v who_o can_v understand_v hiâ—_n fault_n therefore_o no_o man_n can_v tell_v whether_o he_o be_v in_o the_o thing_n of_o a_o man_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o a_o man_n which_o be_v within_o himself_o but_o god_n spirit_n make_v the_o spiritual_a man_n able_a to_o judge_v and_o discern_v all_o thing_n yet_o he_o himself_o to_o be_v judge_v of_o no_o man_n so_o that_o we_o may_v see_v that_o the_o mayor_n proposition_n be_v not_o simple_a here_o but_o must_v of_o necessity_n be_v understand_v with_o say_v not_o the_o quantity_n of_o it_o as_o whether_o it_o be_v little_a or_o great_a suffice_v but_o the_o soundness_n &_o truth_n of_o it_o suffice_v though_o not_o before_o god_n neither_o for_o there_o be_v want_n in_o we_o &_o our_o good_a work_n that_o way_n yet_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o ourselves_o and_o our_o own_o assurance_n for_o though_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a for_o our_o purpose_n or_o before_o god_n yet_o it_o may_v suffice_v for_o another_o and_z as_o in_o regard_n of_o ourselves_o for_o even_o as_o not_o the_o quantity_n so_o much_o as_o the_o quality_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o truth_n and_o steadfastness_n of_o it_o be_v it_o that_o in_o some_o sort_n commend_v we_o to_o god_n but_o special_o minister_v much_o comfort_n to_o our_o own_o conscience_n and_o as_o not_o long_o and_o many_o prayer_n but_o short_a and_o sweet_a as_o we_o may_v say_v yea_o so_o do_v we_o say_v and_o believe_v also_o touch_v all_o other_o fruit_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o namely_o our_o repentance_n and_o let_v this_o suffice_v for_o this_o point_n 8_o their_a eight_o argument_n they_o make_v thus_o pride_n be_v a_o vice_n displease_v god_n on_o the_o other_o side_n humility_n and_o modesty_n be_v a_o virtue_n that_o he_o take_v delight_n in_o but_o for_o a_o man_n to_o say_v that_o he_o be_v in_o god_n favour_n and_o be_v assure_v of_o eternal_a salvation_n be_v a_o point_n of_o arrogancy_n as_o again_o to_o doubt_v whether_o he_o be_v in_o god_n favour_n a_o token_n of_o modesty_n and_o humility_n therefore_o for_o a_o man_n to_o say_v that_o he_o be_v sure_a he_o be_v in_o god_n favour_n be_v a_o soul_n fault_n and_o to_o doubt_v of_o it_o be_v a_o goodly_a virtue_n the_o mayor_n of_o this_o proposition_n be_v as_o clear_a as_o possible_a can_v be_v and_o to_o be_v prove_v by_o many_o place_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o particular_o by_o this_o god_n resist_v the_o proud_a and_o give_v grace_n to_o the_o humble_a and_o therefore_o we_o say_v nothing_o to_o it_o but_o willing_o yield_v and_o submit_v ourselves_o to_o the_o truth_n thereof_o but_o the_o minor_a be_v corrupt_a and_o false_a and_o therefore_o we_o deny_v it_o in_o both_o the_o part_n or_o proposition_n of_o it_o for_o it_o be_v not_o arrogancy_n to_o be_v assure_v general_o of_o god_n favour_n for_o all_o mercy_n and_o particular_o of_o his_o grace_n concern_v eternal_a salvation_n since_o god_n himself_o for_o the_o better_a uphold_v of_o our_o heart_n and_o hope_n that_o way_n have_v be_v please_v to_o give_v unto_o we_o many_o gracious_a both_o prop_n and_o promise_n in_o his_o word_n which_o also_o in_o good_a time_n he_o will_v perform_v unto_o we_o as_o he_o have_v do_v to_o many_o of_o his_o faithful_a servant_n who_o have_v go_v before_o we_o in_o the_o flesh_n and_o in_o the_o faith_n for_o this_o and_o not_o that_o be_v arrogancy_n indeed_o to_o take_v that_o which_o do_v not_o belong_v unto_o we_o or_o to_o presume_v of_o this_o or_o that_o which_o we_o have_v not_o and_o yet_o deceive_v in_o our_o own_o heart_n imagine_v we_o have_v it_o or_o else_o have_v it_o to_o be_v puff_v up_o with_o a_o conceit_n of_o have_v more_o than_o we_o enjoy_v or_o else_o enjoy_v it_o to_o be_v proud_a of_o it_o either_o as_o though_o we_o have_v not_o receive_v it_o or_o as_o though_o god_n have_v give_v it_o we_o to_o that_o end_n to_o make_v we_o swell_v over_o other_o but_o to_o assure_v ourselves_o of_o god_n grace_n and_o of_o eternal_a life_n be_v a_o doctrine_n that_o god_n have_v deliver_v in_o his_o word_n for_o the_o good_a and_o stay_n of_o his_o own_o people_n as_o we_o have_v already_o hear_v heretofore_o and_o shall_v again_o hereafter_o hear_v it_o prove_v more_o at_o large_a and_o therefore_o we_o can_v not_o arrogate_v or_o take_v any_o more_o unto_o ourselves_o then_o that_o that_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o free_a favour_n of_o god_n belong_v unto_o we_o and_o presume_v here_o we_o can_v or_o be_v proud_a whether_o we_o have_v it_o or_o have_v not_o for_o it_o be_v madness_n to_o be_v lift_v up_o with_o that_o we_o have_v not_o and_o since_o we_o have_v it_o not_o of_o ourselves_o but_o from_o another_o we_o may_v say_v as_o the_o apostle_n say_v what_o have_v thou_o that_o ihou_fw-mi have_v not_o receive_v &_o if_o thou_o have_v receive_v it_o why_o reioyc_a thou_o as_o though_o thou_o have_v not_o receive_v it_o and_o again_o we_o know_v god_n give_v no_o grace_n to_o any_o evil_a end_n howesoever_o man_n in_o his_o own_o corruption_n and_o satan_n in_o his_o malice_n against_o he_o abuse_v they_o many_o time_n thereto_o but_o as_o the_o grace_n themselves_o be_v good_a so_o both_o he_o in_o his_o purpose_n do_v and_o we_o in_o our_o practice_n ought_v to_o aim_v at_o good_a end_n and_o effect_n that_o so_o the_o one_o answer_v the_o other_o he_o may_v have_v glory_n other_o man_n good_a and_o ourselves_o comfort_n on_o the_o other_o side_n it_o be_v not_o humility_n to_o doubt_v of_o god_n favour_n but_o distrustfulnes_n or_o doubt_v rather_o for_o humility_n respect_v not_o god_n or_o not_o reach_v unto_o he_o though_o it_o be_v acceptable_a in_o his_o eye_n as_o other_o good_a thing_n be_v but_o concern_v man_n who_o when_o he_o consider_v either_o himself_o his_o sin_n and_o misery_n thereby_o or_o else_o god_n in_o his_o majesty_n might_n justice_n etc._n etc._n as_o a_o sharp_a revenger_n of_o the_o same_o have_v just_a occasion_n to_o be_v throw_v down_o be_v a_o holy_a &_o bless_a virgin_n whereas_o distrustfulness_n or_o doubt_v arise_v from_o the_o corruption_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o a_o imagination_n touch_v the_o height_n or_o heinousnes_n of_o our_o iniquity_n or_o ignorance_n of_o god_n divine_a nature_n and_o holy_a word_n as_o though_o he_o can_v not_o or_o will_v not_o forgive_v we_o be_v a_o foul_a vice_n because_o it_o dishonour_v god_n in_o the_o riches_n of_o his_o mercy_n and_o add_v affliction_n unto_o a_o fearful_a and_o distress_a soul_n and_o both_o these_o point_v i_o think_v we_o may_v see_v plain_a by_o and_o earthly_a comparison_n for_o as_o when_o a_o great_a prince_n or_o person_n that_o both_o have_v largeness_n of_o power_n and_o soundness_n of_o good_a will_n shall_v promise_v we_o much_o and_o will_v we_o in_o the_o word_n of_o a_o prince_n to_o assure_v ourselves_o and_o be_v bold_a then_o to_o doubt_n be_v folly_n in_o ourselves_o and_o discredit_v to_o the_o person_n that_o offer_v &_o will_v perform_v such_o singular_a favour_n so_o be_v it_o in_o this_o behalf_n between_o we_o and_o so_o that_o we_o may_v see_v it_o be_v not_o pride_n but_o christian_a humility_n not_o only_o to_o think_v or_o speak_v low_o of_o but_o as_o it_o be_v to_o distrust_v yea_o

god_n who_o not_o only_o in_o his_o own_o nature_n be_v always_o like_a unto_o himself_o free_a from_o the_o least_o shadow_n or_o show_v of_o turn_v that_o may_v be_v but_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o his_o action_n and_o practice_n towards_o all_o his_o people_n in_o all_o age_n have_v manifest_v himself_o powerful_a and_o faithful_a as_o their_o be_v no_o reason_n to_o doubt_v so_o we_o can_v do_v it_o but_o with_o dishonour_n to_o his_o majesty_n and_o so_o by_o consequent_a also_o with_o sin_n to_o our_o own_o soul_n but_o let_v we_o proceed_v 12_o their_a 12._o argument_n be_v this_o who_o they_o have_v not_o believe_v how_o shall_v they_o believe_v in_o he_o of_o who_o they_o have_v not_o hear_v &_o how_o shall_v they_o hear_v without_o a_o preacher_n etc._n etc._n and_o if_o faith_n from_o whence_o all_o good_a work_n flow_v be_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n then_o must_v also_o good_a work_n themselves_o come_v from_o he_o also_o because_o if_o the_o first_o be_v from_o he_o the_o second_o likewise_o and_o yet_o lest_o we_o shall_v think_v that_o this_o be_v not_o god_n own_o and_o according_a to_o his_o truth_n but_o a_o humane_a invention_n the_o scripture_n that_o attribute_v the_o work_n of_o faith_n unto_o god_n ascribe_v also_o all_o other_o virtue_n in_o we_o unto_o he_o for_o that_o must_v ever_o be_v true_a the_o apostle_n speak_v philip._n 2._o it_o be_v the_o same_o but_o the_o promise_n be_v spiritual_a and_o from_o god_n and_o so_o be_v faith_n in_o we_o and_o not_o doubt_v for_o that_o be_v from_o the_o corruption_n of_o our_o own_o nature_n which_o have_v no_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n or_o goodness_n till_o it_o be_v alter_v and_o change_v from_o above_o and_o therefore_o we_o may_v safe_o conclude_v and_o say_v establish_z god_n promise_v or_o faith_n be_v establish_v and_o put_v doubt_v on_o god_n promise_n be_v evacuate_v for_o therefore_o be_v it_o of_o faith_n as_o be_v say_v before_o out_o of_o rom._n 4._o that_o the_o be_v certify_v or_o assure_v of_o god_n grace_n and_o his_o own_o salvation_n but_o therein_o only_o require_v at_o our_o hand_n faith_n and_o repentance_n both_o which_o grace_n as_o all_o other_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v in_o some_o more_o and_o in_o some_o less_o according_a to_o the_o measure_n thereof_o give_v unto_o man_n from_o god_n and_o this_o may_v appear_v because_o christ_n make_v any_o answer_n or_o satisfaction_n unto_o god_n for_o they_o or_o sure_o determine_v concern_v the_o sufficiency_n of_o his_o faith_n and_o repentance_n because_o god_n have_v reveal_v no_o such_o thing_n in_o his_o word_n and_o to_o fetch_v it_o from_o his_o own_o head_n or_o heart_n will_v not_o be_v fit_a for_o that_o be_v deep_a and_o deceitful_a above_o all_o thing_n it_o will_v follow_v that_o no_o man_n shall_v hope_v for_o salvation_n but_o rather_o despair_v of_o it_o which_o beside_o that_o it_o be_v absurd_a be_v both_o ungodly_a and_o uncomfortable_a also_o but_o if_o they_o will_v yet_o further_o object_n and_o say_v that_o no_o man_n know_v whether_o he_o do_v true_o repent_v and_o believe_v or_o else_o whether_o he_o ascribe_v unto_o himself_o the_o thing_n he_o
