power_n 3._o especial_o when_o man_n have_v fall_v by_o sin_n from_o the_o love_n of_o god_n to_o the_o love_n of_o his_o carnal_a self_n and_o of_o the_o creature_n and_o when_o he_o be_v fall_v under_o vindictive_a justice_n and_o be_v conscious_a of_o the_o displeasure_n of_o his_o maker_n and_o have_v make_v himself_o a_o heir_n of_o hell_n and_o when_o man_n nature_n can_v so_o hardly_o more_o with_o he_o that_o have_v nature_n without_o grace_n which_o must_v heal_v it_o and_o use_v it_o to_o its_o proper_a end_n 8._o so_o that_o it_o appear_v that_o as_o the_o love_n of_o perfection_n be_v fit_o call_v the_o law_n of_o nature_n because_o it_o be_v agreeable_a to_o man_n in_o his_o natural_a state_n of_o innocency_n so_o the_o law_n of_o grace_n may_v be_v now_o call_v the_o law_n of_o deprave_a nature_n because_o it_o be_v as_o suitable_a to_o lapse_v man_n and_o when_o our_o pravity_n be_v undeniable_a how_o credible_a shall_v it_o be_v that_o we_o have_v such_o a_o law_n 9_o and_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o the_o gospel_n either_o unsuitable_a to_o the_o first_o law_n of_o nature_n or_o contradictory_n to_o it_o or_o yet_o of_o any_o alien_a nature_n but_o only_o that_o which_o have_v the_o most_o excellent_a aptitude_n to_o subserve_v it_o give_v the_o glory_n to_o god_n in_o the_o high_a by_o restore_a peace_n unto_o the_o earth_n and_o goodness_n towards_o man_n 10._o and_o when_o the_o divine_a monarchy_n be_v apt_a in_o the_o order_n of_o government_n to_o communicate_v some_o image_n of_o itself_o to_o the_o creature_n as_o well_o as_o the_o divine_a perfection_n have_v communicate_v their_o image_n to_o the_o creature_n in_o their_o nature_n or_o being_n how_o wise_o it_o be_v order_v that_o mankind_n shall_v have_v one_o universal_a vicarious_a head_n or_o monarch_n there_o be_v great_a reason_n to_o believe_v that_o there_o be_v monarchy_n among_o angel_n and_o in_o the_o world_n it_o most_o apparent_o excel_v all_o bring_v they_o to_o full_a perfection_n and_o to_o the_o bless_a fruition_n of_o god_n the_o jewish_a scripture_n teach_v they_o all_o this_o though_o it_o tell_v they_o not_o many_o of_o the_o article_n of_o our_o christian_a belief_n 3._o the_o christian_a gospel_n be_v sufficient_a in_o its_o own_o kind_n to_o teach_v man_n first_o to_o believe_v aright_o in_o the_o father_n son_n and_o omni_fw-la genere_fw-la not_o only_o for_o its_o own_o part_n and_o work_v but_o for_o the_o spirit_n part_v also_o but_o other_o cause_n be_v suppose_v to_o concur_v it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o the_o meaning_n of_o christ_n covenant_n and_o think_v that_o it_o have_v no_o universality_n in_o it_o and_o that_o he_o die_v only_o for_o the_o elect_n and_o promise_v pardon_n to_o none_o but_o the_o elect_n no_o not_o on_o the_o condition_n of_o believe_v and_o therefore_o think_v that_o they_o can_v have_v no_o assurance_n that_o they_o be_v elect_a they_o doubt_v of_o the_o conclusion_n and_o many_o of_o they_o think_v that_o the_o promise_n extend_v not_o to_o such_o as_o they_o because_o of_o some_o sin_n or_o great_a unworthiness_n which_o they_o be_v guilty_a of_o and_o other_o think_v that_o they_o have_v not_o that_o faith_n and_o repentance_n which_o be_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o pardon_n and_o salvation_n and_o in_o some_o of_o these_o the_o thing_n itself_o may_v be_v so_o obscure_a as_o to_o be_v indeed_o the_o matter_n of_o rational_a doubtfulness_n and_o in_o other_o of_o they_o the_o cause_n may_v be_v either_o a_o mistake_n about_o the_o true_a nature_n and_o sign_n of_o faith_n and_o repentance_n or_o else_o a_o timorous_a melancholy_a causeless_a suspicion_n of_o themselves_o but_o which_o of_o all_o these_o soever_o be_v the_o condition_n but_o yet_o as_o the_o unbaptised_a be_v ordinary_o without_o the_o visible_a church_n and_o its_o privilege_n so_o if_o any_o be_v so_o blind_a as_o neither_o explicitly_a nor_o virtual_o to_o dedicate_v their_o seed_n to_o god_n i_o know_v no_o promise_n of_o their_o child_n salvation_n any_o more_o than_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o infidel_n direct_v 3._o if_o the_o child_n of_o true_a christian_n dedicate_v by_o the_o parent_n will_v to_o god_n through_o christ_n shall_v die_v before_o they_o come_v to_o the_o use_n of_o reason_n the_o parent_n have_v no_o cause_n to_o doubt_v of_o
