though_o this_o be_v the_o faith_n quae_fw-la justificat_fw-la which_o justify_v we_o be_v it_o not_o only_a recumbency_n on_o christ_n impute_v righteousness_n quâ—_n talis_fw-la which_o have_v the_o office_n of_o instrumentality_n and_o isâ—ides_v â—ides_z quâ—_n justificans_fw-la ans_fw-fr such_o quibble_n and_o jingle_n of_o a_o mere_a sound_n of_o word_n be_v usual_a in_o ludicrous_a disputation_n of_o lad_n but_o it_o be_v pity_n it_o shall_v pass_v as_o the_o last_o remedy_n against_o plain_a truth_n in_o so_o great_a a_o matter_n first_o it_o must_v be_v remember_v that_o no_o faith_n justify_v efficient_o and_o therefore_o neither_o quae_fw-la nor_o quâ_fw-la justificans_fw-la be_v to_o signify_v any_o such_o thing_n but_o a_o mere_a moral_a qualification_n of_o the_o recipient_a subject_n so_o that_o to_o be_v justify_v by_o faith_n be_v but_o to_o be_v justify_v by_o it_o as_o that_o which_o god_n have_v promise_v justification_n on_o as_o the_o qualify_a condition_n but_o if_o it_o be_v not_o the_o same_o thing_n that_o be_v here_o call_v fides_n quae_fw-la and_o quâ_fw-la but_o in_o the_o first_o part_n they_o speak_v of_o the_o habit_n and_o in_o the_o second_o of_o the_o act_n have_v it_o not_o be_v plain_a to_o say_v the_o same_o habit_n of_o faith_n have_v several_a act_n as_o believe_v in_o god_n in_o christ_n intercession_n kingdom_n etc._n etc._n but_o none_o of_o these_o act_n do_v justify_v we_o but_o one_o only_a viz._n trust_v to_o the_o imputation_n of_o his_o righteousness_n and_o so_o both_o the_o quae_fw-la and_o quâ_fw-la be_v â—denied_v to_o all_o act_n save_o that_o one_o this_o be_v their_o plain_a meaning_n which_o be_v deny_v to_o be_v truth_n and_o be_v a_o human_a dangerous_a invention_n yet_o it_o be_v grant_v they_o that_o it_o be_v not_o every_o act_n of_o faith_n that_o be_v make_v the_o condition_n of_o justification_n or_o salvation_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o the_o formal_a object_n god_n veracity_n be_v believe_v to_o make_v it_o true_a faith_n and_o that_o the_o gospel_n or_o covenant_n of_o grace_n be_v believe_v with_o consent_n as_o aforesaid_a to_o make_v it_o to_o be_v the_o true_a christian_a faith_n in_o essence_n and_o it_o be_v of_o necessity_n that_o every_o thing_n be_v believe_v which_o we_o know_v that_o god_n reveal_v but_o it_o be_v the_o christian_a faith_n that_o have_v the_o promise_n of_o justification_n and_o that_o not_o any_o one_o single_a act_n of_o it_o but_o all_o that_o be_v essential_a to_o it_o and_o that_o which_o belong_v but_o
