ministry_n of_o man_n who_o no_o doubt_n together_o with_o the_o truth_n of_o religion_n have_v error_n and_o ignorance_n shall_v that_o make_v the_o doctrine_n and_o substance_n of_o religion_n itself_o to_o be_v suspect_v or_o reject_v but_o we_o know_v that_o there_o be_v nothing_o false_a in_o the_o scripture_n if_o be_v right_o understand_v and_o that_o all_o the_o part_n of_o it_o have_v a_o most_o perfect_a agreement_n &_o consonancy_n with_o the_o other_o the_o law_n with_o the_o gospel_n the_o ceremony_n of_o moses_n with_o the_o substance_n in_o christ_n the_o prophet_n with_o the_o apostle_n and_o each_o one_o with_o other_o but_o i_o marvel_v why_o you_o join_v the_o fire_n of_o purgatory_n whereat_o now_o the_o whole_a world_n do_v laugh_v as_o at_o a_o most_o ridiculous_a toy_n with_o hell_n and_o heaven_n whereby_o in_o scripture_n be_v mean_v the_o misery_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o the_o

must_v get_v a_o pattern_n example_n or_o resemblance_n of_o it_o in_o some_o thing_n real_o exist_v and_o last_o we_o must_v by_o add_v and_o detract_n make_v they_o even_o or_o equal_a for_o the_o first_o see_v that_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n can_v be_v know_v either_o by_o any_o essential_a cause_n or_o by_o sensible_a quality_n we_o must_v imagine_v it_o by_o the_o effect_n action_n and_o work_n whether_o they_o be_v ordinary_a or_o extraordinary_a rom._n 1._o 20._o the_o invisible_a thing_n of_o god_n that_o be_v his_o eternal_a power_n and_o godhead_n be_v see_v by_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n be_v consider_v in_o his_o work_n for_o so_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o the_o end_n he_o may_v make_v himself_o know_v to_o man_n and_o man_n happy_a by_o know_v he_o after_o a_o sort_n to_o take_v unto_o this_o his_o invisible_a and_o insensible_a nature_n this_o visible_a and_o sensible_a shape_n and_o to_o cover_v himself_o with_o the_o creature_n as_o with_o a_o garment_n that_o so_o he_o may_v discover_v and_o reveal_v his_o hide_a nature_n to_o man_n as_o we_o know_v that_o both_o he_o himself_o as_o also_o his_o angel_n have_v show_v themselves_o to_o man_n by_o put_v on_o the_o nature_n and_o shape_n of_o man_n not_o that_o we_o imagine_v as_o some_o have_v do_v that_o god_n be_v the_o soul_n or_o life_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o world_n the_o body_n of_o god_n for_o god_n be_v not_o in_o the_o creature_n either_o as_o their_o matter_n or_o as_o their_o form_n but_o only_o be_v to_o they_o the_o efficient_a but_o because_o the_o creature_n make_v god_n invisible_a nature_n to_o be_v know_v therefore_o we_o call_v they_o the_o shape_n or_o form_n of_o god_n for_o by_o this_o mean_v it_o be_v bring_v to_o pass_v that_o although_o god_n jehova_n as_o he_o exi_v in_o himself_o and_o as_o he_o do_v exist_v before_o the_o creation_n be_v invisible_a yet_o god_n the_o creator_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v as_o visible_a as_o be_v the_o star_n by_o night_n or_o the_o sun_n at_o midday_n in_o the_o heaven_n and_o as_o palpable_a as_o be_v the_o gross_a earth_n whereon_o we_o tread_v as_o it_o be_v act._n 17._o 27._o god_n have_v make_v the_o world_n that_o in_o it_o man_n may_v seek_v he_o yea_o grope_v after_o he_o and_o feel_v he_o thus_o both_o the_o creature_n and_o also_o the_o extraordinary_a excellent_a yea_o infinite_a in_o all_o goodness_n to_o wit_n in_o knowledge_n and_o wisdom_n in_o truth_n and_o justice_n in_o love_n and_o mercy_n in_o power_n and_o strength_n in_o glory_n and_o majesty_n thus_o have_v conceive_v in_o our_o mind_n a_o idea_n or_o imagination_n of_o god_n nature_n we_o be_v in_o the_o next_o place_n to_o bring_v it_o forth_o into_o the_o world_n by_o get_v a_o example_n or_o resemblance_n of_o it_o in_o some_o thing_n not_o unlike_a unto_o it_o but_o against_o this_o pattern_n or_o resemblance_n it_o will_v be_v object_v the_o which_o you_o touch_v before_o that_o both_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o find_v any_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n that_o be_v like_a to_o god_n or_o fit_a to_o be_v a_o resemblance_n and_o also_o that_o if_o there_o can_v any_o such_o thing_n be_v find_v yet_o it_o be_v idolatry_n to_o resemble_v god_n to_o any_o creature_n whereunto_o we_o answer_v first_o to_o the_o former_a part_n of_o the_o objection_n that_o although_o the_o unlikeness_n to_o god_n be_v far_o great_a in_o the_o creature_n than_o the_o likeness_n yet_o that_o there_o be_v no_o creature_n which_o be_v not_o more_o or_o less_o in_o one_o respect_n or_o other_o like_a unto_o he_o for_o whatsoever_o be_v good_a commendable_a or_o excellent_a in_o any_o creature_n as_o all_o the_o creature_n be_v good_a yea_o every_o one_o of_o they_o endue_v with_o a_o proper_a and_o peculiar_a goodness_n that_o come_v from_o god_n who_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o all_o goodness_n and_o make_v the_o creature_n to_o be_v like_a to_o god_n so_o then_o if_o the_o mean_a and_o base_a creature_n have_v some_o likeness_n to_o god_n without_o doubt_n the_o excellent_a creature_n can_v but_o have_v a_o great_a likeness_n and_o resemblance_n unto_o he_o the_o which_o we_o know_v that_o god_n himself_o in_o the_o scripture_n do_v grant_v unto_o they_o calling_z man_z his_o own_o similitude_n god_n make_v man_n in_o the_o likeness_n of_o god._n genes_n 5._o credit_n and_o honour_n truth_n fidelity_n thankfulness_n friendship_n indulgence_n patience_n and_o such_o other_o even_o whatsoever_o be_v good_a and_o commendable_a in_o the_o nature_n manner_n behaviour_n life_n and_o action_n of_o man_n gent._n i_o pray_v you_o think_v it_o not_o irk_v some_o to_o make_v a_o particular_a declaration_n of_o they_o for_o i_o do_v not_o see_v how_o these_o thing_n &_o especial_o the_o affection_n that_o you_o speak_v of_o will_v either_o be_v true_o find_v in_o god_n or_o can_v fit_o be_v attribute_v to_o he_o sch._n if_o you_o mean_v by_o affection_n sudden_a and_o vehement_a perturbation_n such_o as_o we_o see_v usual_o in_o man_n rise_v and_o cease_v as_o occasion_n and_o object_n be_v offer_v then_o there_o be_v no_o affection_n in_o god_n for_o they_o be_v nothing_o in_o he_o at_o any_o time_n that_o be_v not_o always_o in_o he_o and_o that_o have_v not_o be_v in_o he_o from_o all_o eternity_n but_o if_o as_o we_o may_v we_o mean_v by_o affection_n constant_a continual_a yea_o eternal_a act_n motion_n and_o inclination_n for_o even_o these_o two_o latter_a term_n although_o improper_a must_v for_o want_n of_o better_a be_v use_v of_o his_o will_n not_o stir_v up_o on_o a_o sudden_a like_o a_o tempest_n by_o this_o or_o that_o particular_a object_n but_o settle_v &_o permament_n arise_v of_o the_o diverse_a nature_n of_o thing_n and_o agreeable_a thereunto_o in_o this_o sense_n we_o may_v true_o '_o say_v that_o there_o be_v affection_n in_o god_n for_o he_o do_v true_o love_v and_o embrace_v good_a and_o likewise_o hate_v and_o abhor_v whatsoever_o be_v evil_a gent._n you_o make_v a_o strange_a distinction_n of_o affection_n some_o sudden_a and_o momentanie_n other_o permanent_a and_o eternal_a thus_o you_o make_v they_o no_o affection_n but_o habitual_a disposition_n and_o moral_a virtue_n sch._n you_o need_v not_o marvel_v so_o much_o at_o this_o distinction_n for_o it_o have_v place_n even_o in_o humane_a affection_n as_o we_o know_v that_o hatred_n be_v a_o habitual_a and_o inveterate_a anger_n and_o love_v also_o may_v be_v settle_v and_o fix_v for_o ever_o but_o it_o must_v of_o necessity_n strange_a alteration_n in_o they_o that_o you_o will_v scarce_o say_v they_o be_v the_o same_o man_n which_o they_o seem_v before_o but_o no_o object_n of_o what_o nature_n or_o force_n so_o ever_o it_o be_v can_v make_v the_o least_o alteration_n or_o impression_n into_o the_o will_n of_o god_n who_o nature_n be_v immutable_a yea_o impassable_a for_o he_o be_v not_o material_a as_o be_v the_o creature_n yea_o even_o the_o angel_n themselves_o who_o must_v needs_o be_v grant_v to_o consist_v of_o and_o in_o some_o matter_n which_o may_v suffer_v and_o be_v alter_v whereof_o it_o come_v that_o not_o only_a man_n

for_o so_o he_o shall_v destroy_v nature_n itself_o which_o have_v with_o she_o own_o fingerwritten_a in_o our_o heart_n this_o description_n of_o love_n which_o i_o have_v bring_v to_o wit_n that_o our_o love_n shall_v be_v great_a towards_o they_o at_o who_o hand_n we_o have_v receive_v pleasure_n and_o comfort_n then_o to_o they_o who_o be_v stranger_n or_o enemy_n unto_o us._n but_o his_o meaning_n be_v that_o to_o our_o enemy_n we_o shall_v not_o be_v full_a of_o anger_n and_o revenge_n but_o patient_a gentle_a yea_o loving_a and_o helpful_a labour_v by_o good_a to_o overcome_v rom._n 5._o and_o that_o you_o do_v not_o doubt_v but_o that_o god_n love_v the_o apostle_n paul_n even_o in_o his_o infidelity_n and_o when_o he_o in_o great_a fury_n do_v persecute_v the_o church_n sch._n it_o may_v be_v that_o it_o will_v seem_v strange_a to_o they_o that_o have_v not_o consider_v of_o it_o but_o the_o doctrine_n be_v as_o i_o think_v good_a and_o sound_a that_o god_n neither_o hate_v any_o but_o for_o sin_n neither_o love_v any_o but_o as_o they_o be_v holy_a yet_o our_o foresee_a holiness_n be_v not_o the_o cause_n why_o god_n do_v elect_v we_o to_o salvation_n for_o first_o he_o elect_v we_o to_o love_v &_o to_o life_n &_o then_o afterward_o by_o sanctify_v we_o he_o make_v we_o capable_a of_o his_o love_n and_o of_o eternal_a life_n the_o proper_a object_n of_o bear_v at_o the_o appoint_a time_n his_o own_o image_n of_o holiness_n and_o so_o the_o foresight_n of_o holiness_n in_o he_o may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o the_o cause_n of_o god_n love_n though_o not_o of_o his_o election_n for_o god_n may_v choose_v to_o love_v who_o he_o listen_v but_o he_o can_v love_v but_o according_a to_o his_o own_o nature_n neither_o any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o be_v in_o some_o sort_n agreeable_a to_o his_o nature_n for_o he_o can_v love_v or_o like_v but_o must_v of_o necessity_n hate_n and_o abhor_v evil_a as_o well_o in_o concreto_fw-la as_o in_o abstracto_fw-la in_o parricular_a subject_n as_o well_o as_o in_o general_a notion_n that_o so_o he_o may_v be_v always_o like_o himself_o sect._n 3_o gent._n i_o will_v not_o contend_v with_o you_o about_o it_o at_o this_o time_n because_o i_o will_v not_o hinder_v you_o from_o other_o matter_n now_o that_o you_o have_v lay_v the_o foundation_n of_o the_o description_n of_o god_n love_n i_o pray_v you_o go_v on_o with_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o build_n sch._n we_o will_v and_o first_o we_o may_v out_o of_o that_o that_o have_v be_v say_v to_o this_o purpose_n define_v the_o love_n of_o god_n to_o be_v the_o motion_n or_o rather_o the_o act_n of_o his_o will_n incline_v itself_o by_o do_v good_a to_o good_a prevail_a in_o the_o reasonable_a creature_n in_o this_o description_n we_o their_o several_a kind_n and_o degree_n have_v in_o they_o a_o special_a goodness_n in_o respect_n whereof_o god_n may_v be_v say_v to_o love_n and_o favour_v they_o as_o we_o read_v gen._n 1._o 31._o be_v remoove_v and_o as_o it_o be_v transplant_v out_o of_o god_n pleasant_a paradise_n in_o the_o which_o it_o do_v flourish_v amid_o the_o four_o river_n of_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n into_o a_o wide_a &_o wild_a desert_n where_o it_o be_v scorch_a with_o the_o burn_a beam_n of_o god_n curse_v wither_v for_o want_v of_o water_n and_o be_v clean_o dry_v uppe_o be_v become_v most_o deform_v gent._n i_o can_v well_o agree_v that_o love_n shall_v have_v place_n in_o god_n both_o in_o his_o nature_n and_o in_o his_o action_n for_o as_o he_o be_v the_o chief_a and_o the_o very_a fountain_n of_o all_o goodness_n so_o it_o seem_v very_o meet_v that_o he_o shall_v extend_v his_o goodness_n to_o all_o his_o creature_n by_o do_v good_a unto_o they_o all_o according_a to_o their_o several_a kind_n but_o for_o this_o affection_n of_o hatred_n i_o do_v not_o see_v how_o it_o can_v so_o well_o agree_v to_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n it_o be_v by_o nature_n evil_a and_o contrary_a to_o the_o confound_v all_o the_o maintainer_n and_o upholder_n of_o it_o for_o it_o be_v as_o necessary_a &_o natural_a to_o god_n to_o abhor_v evil_a general_n and_o to_o hate_v it_o in_o the_o particular_a subject_n as_o it_o be_v to_o he_o to_o inclin_n to_o good_a and_o to_o love_v it_o in_o his_o creature_n gent._n you_o will_v have_v much_o ado_n to_o persuade_v i_o that_o god_n hate_v any_o although_o i_o confess_v you_o make_v a_o show_n of_o argument_n to_o prove_v it_o but_o before_o we_o argue_v the_o matter_n i_o will_v know_v who_o and_o how_o god_n hate_v sch._n indeed_o the_o state_n of_o the_o question_n will_v be_v agree_v upon_o before_o disputation_n and_o it_o may_v easy_o be_v know_v if_o you_o call_v to_o mind_n that_o which_o have_v be_v say_v of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n for_o first_o the_o reasonable_a creature_n only_o be_v the_o subject_n as_o of_o the_o love_n so_o also_o of_o the_o hatred_n of_o god_n for_o of_o all_o the_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n the_o reasonable_a only_o can_v be_v and_o be_v evil_a the_o reason_n hereof_o be_v because_o all_o other_o thing_n as_o they_o be_v create_v good_a so_o they_o continue_v in_o that_o state_n of_o goodness_n and_o in_o respect_n of_o it_o be_v in_o some_o sort_n love_v of_o god_n although_o not_o in_o that_o degree_n of_o perfection_n and_o excellency_n god_n have_v for_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n withdraw_v from_o they_o some_o part_n of_o it_o but_o man_n have_v clean_o forsake_v that_o state_n and_o stand_v wherein_o he_o be_v place_v by_o god_n and_o lose_v that_o goodness_n for_o the_o which_o he_o be_v so_o belove_v of_o god_n yea_o not_o only_o so_o but_o also_o he_o have_v make_v a_o exchange_n of_o the_o say_a goodness_n for_o the_o contrary_a naughtiness_n of_o knowledge_n &_o obedience_n for_o ignorance_n error_n rebellion_n and_o contempt_n yea_o of_o the_o whole_a image_n of_o god_n for_o the_o ugly_a shape_n of_o satan_n and_o so_o be_v just_o become_v odious_a to_o god_n to_o who_o before_o he_o be_v dear_o belove_v gent._n belike_o man_n be_v create_v in_o a_o worse_a estate_n than_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o creature_n for_o they_o be_v sure_a to_o continue_v in_o the_o state_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o in_o happiness_n from_o the_o which_o we_o see_v that_o man_n be_v most_o miserable_o fall_v and_o that_o into_o y_fw-fr e_fw-la at_o the_o lest_o no_o sense_n of_o god_n then_o to_o feel_v the_o heaâ—ie_a burden_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o will_v not_o choose_v not_o to_o be_v happy_a with_o they_o rather_o than_o to_o be_v miserable_a with_o man_n yet_o if_o we_o compare_v their_o first_o estate_n together_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o man_n estate_n be_v far_o more_o excellent_a than_o they_o in_o that_o he_o be_v create_v in_o the_o fruition_n of_o all_o pleasure_n and_o happiness_n of_o the_o which_o their_o nature_n be_v not_o capable_a and_o what_o though_o he_o be_v create_v in_o the_o possibility_n this_o condition_n that_o if_o he_o be_v find_v to_o be_v traitorous_a rebellious_a and_o disloyal_a he_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v deprive_v of_o all_o the_o aforesaid_a benefit_n but_o also_o be_v most_o shameful_o and_o miserable_o torture_v and_o torment_v to_o death_n gent._n that_o be_v it_o i_o look_v for_o you_o have_v madâ—_n a_o very_a good_a reason_n against_o yourself_o for_o protest_v unto_o you_o i_o have_v always_o carry_v this_o mind_n that_o i_o have_v rather_o live_v in_o a_o mean_a and_o
make_v this_o doctrine_n of_o god_n hatred_n seem_v so_o strange_a and_o be_v so_o harsh_a in_o your_o ear_n namely_o because_o hatred_n among_o man_n be_v so_o corrupt_a a_o thing_n bring_v with_o it_o so_o many_o evil_n &_o mischief_n but_o we_o must_v not_o measure_n god_n by_o man_n nor_o the_o one_o kind_n of_o hatred_n by_o the_o other_o for_o god_n hate_v first_o by_o detest_a sin_n and_o then_o by_o punish_v the_o rebellion_n of_o he_o that_o have_v commit_v it_o gent._n belike_o you_o make_v this_o hatred_n only_o the_o execution_n of_o justice_n do_v by_o god_n as_o by_o a_o righteous_a judge_n upon_o malefactor_n or_o as_o by_o a_o sovereign_a king_n upon_o open_a rebel_n and_o so_o a_o suppose_a hatred_n for_o that_o he_o that_o inflict_v punishment_n seem_v to_o hate_v as_o it_o be_v 1._o cor._n 4._o 21._o shall_v i_o come_v to_o you_o with_o a_o rod_n or_o in_o love_n and_o if_o it_o be_v so_o i_o think_v it_o be_v better_a to_o call_v it_o justice_n then_o hatred_n the_o one_o word_n signify_v a_o most_o corrupt_a the_o other_o a_o most_o commendable_a thing_n sch._n the_o outward_a and_o actual_a manner_n of_o god_n hatred_n which_o be_v by_o do_v evil_a to_o the_o sinful_a person_n be_v in_o nothing_o disagree_v from_o the_o rule_n of_o justice_n may_v not_o unfit_o be_v so_o call_v yet_o we_o need_v not_o fear_v to_o ascribe_v hatred_n and_o detestation_n both_o of_o sin_n in_o general_a and_o also_o of_o the_o particular_a person_n pollute_v with_o it_o unto_o god_n he_o have_v so_o often_o in_o scripture_n take_v they_o unto_o himself_o otherwise_o if_o we_o take_v hatred_n as_o it_o be_v usual_o in_o and_o among_o man_n than_o man_n be_v free_v from_o all_o hatred_n of_o god_n both_o by_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n nature_n the_o which_o can_v neither_o will_v nor_o do_v evil_a to_o his_o creature_n but_o only_o so_o far_o forth_o as_o be_v needful_a for_o the_o satisfy_n of_o his_o justice_n and_o manifest_v of_o his_o glory_n and_o also_o by_o the_o baseness_n of_o his_o own_o nature_n and_o estate_n for_o what_o be_v man_n a_o worm_n rather_o than_o a_o man_n that_o god_n shall_v hate_v the_o least_o spark_n of_o who_o anger_n be_v of_o force_n to_o consume_v to_o nothing_o a_o thousand_o world_n sect._n 5_o like_a unto_o the_o aforesaid_a affection_n be_v pleasance_n &_o anger_n the_o which_o also_o be_v move_v to_o anger_n in_o this_o sense_n god_n can_v be_v proper_o say_v to_o be_v either_o please_v or_o appease_v for_o he_o be_v never_o displease_v it_o be_v impossible_a that_o any_o thing_n proceed_v from_o any_o creature_n or_o indeed_o from_o himself_o shall_v work_v any_o change_n or_o alteration_n in_o he_o likewise_o for_o anger_n though_o it_o be_v in_o infinite_a place_n of_o scripture_n attribute_v to_o god_n yet_o that_o he_o can_v by_o any_o mean_n be_v provoke_v unto_o it_o only_o hereby_o be_v mean_v first_o for_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n that_o as_o he_o like_v and_o approove_v the_o obedience_n and_o purity_n of_o the_o godly_a so_o he_o mislike_v the_o impurity_n of_o the_o wicked_a as_o great_o as_o man_n do_v those_o thing_n whereat_o they_o be_v not_o pass_v y_z e_o limit_n of_o justice_n as_o man_n do_v be_v angry_a who_o usual_o be_v rather_o too_o rigorous_a and_o pass_v the_o bound_n of_o moderation_n in_o this_o behalf_n yea_o if_o we_o suppose_v the_o which_o we_o need_v not_o it_o be_v so_o common_a a_o thing_n the_o most_o outrageous_a blasphemy_n and_o horrible_a villainy_n which_o can_v be_v imagine_v to_o be_v commit_v by_o man_n yet_o god_n be_v not_o thereby_o provoke_v to_o anger_n or_o any_o whit_n change_v otherwise_o then_o he_o be_v before_o he_o do_v indeed_o abhor_v sin_n and_o punish_v sinner_n as_o they_o do_v deserve_v but_o not_o in_o choler_n or_o any_o violent_a passion_n but_o by_o the_o essential_a and_o eternal_a motion_n or_o rather_o immovable_a act_n of_o his_o will_n so_o affect_v to_o these_o object_n as_o they_o do_v either_o agree_v or_o disagree_v from_o his_o divine_a nature_n and_o therefore_o this_o affection_n in_o god_n may_v more_o fit_o be_v term_v hatred_n it_o be_v so_o be_v no_o manner_n of_o passion_n in_o god_n his_o nature_n be_v impassable_a only_o by_o the_o pity_n of_o god_n in_o scripture_n be_v mean_v that_o god_n as_o he_o be_v infinite_o and_o only_o good_a yea_o the_o fountain_n of_o all_o goodness_n so_o he_o be_v most_o prone_a and_o ready_a to_o impart_v and_o extend_v the_o same_o to_o all_o his_o creature_n especial_o unto_o those_o which_o be_v miserable_a do_v stand_v in_o great_a need_n of_o his_o help_n and_o comfort_n this_o may_v be_v plain_o see_v in_o those_o judicial_a law_n which_o he_o give_v to_o his_o people_n by_o moses_n wherein_o it_o may_v worthy_o be_v note_v how_o careful_a the_o lord_n be_v for_o the_o help_a and_o relieve_v of_o all_o those_o which_o be_v any_o way_n distress_v as_o namely_o the_o poor_a the_o widow_n the_o orphan_n and_o the_o stranger_n that_o man_n shall_v not_o only_o take_v heed_n of_o iniury_v they_o any_o way_n for_o say_v he_o exod._n 22._o 27_o although_o thou_o be_v cruel_a in_o year_n yea_o this_o compassion_n of_o the_o lord_n extend_v itself_o even_o to_o the_o brute_n beast_n and_o therefore_o he_o command_v that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v overwrought_a but_o be_v suffer_v to_o rest_v the_o 7_o day_n that_o the_o seven_o year_n crop_v shall_v be_v leave_v for_o they_o in_o part_n that_o the_o young_a kid_n shall_v not_o be_v sod_a in_o the_o mother_n milk_n in_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n not_o only_o true_o but_o also_o primare_o as_o in_o their_o root_n and_o first_o fountain_n from_o the_o which_o they_o be_v derive_v to_o the_o creature_n gent._n i_o pray_v you_o declare_v they_o in_o particular_a sch._n it_o be_v more_o meet_a if_o not_o needful_a to_o break_v off_o our_o conference_n for_o this_o time_n i_o dare_v say_v i_o have_v weary_v you_o with_o speak_v so_o long_o of_o one_o matter_n gent._n of_o one_o matter_n call_v you_o this_o one_o matter_n nay_o it_o be_v all_o in_o all_o alas_o god_n help_v we_o if_o one_o afternoon_n conference_n of_o god_n do_v make_v we_o weary_a this_o be_v the_o only_a lesson_n in_o the_o learning_n whereof_o all_o that_o hope_v to_o be_v in_o god_n kingdom_n must_v make_v account_n to_o spend_v not_o hour_n day_n year_n or_o age_n but_o eternity_n that_o be_v time_n which_o be_v endless_a and_o will_v never_o be_v spend_v sch._n it_o be_v true_a that_o you_o say_v yet_o you_o see_v next_o day_n also_o i_o shall_v wish_v the_o which_o i_o think_v few_o traveller_n do_v to_o have_v the_o way_n lengthen_v and_o that_o we_o have_v many_o hour_n ride_v to_o our_o lodging_n as_o now_o we_o have_v not_o above_o one_o but_o if_o yourself_o be_v weary_a of_o speak_v and_o of_o my_o unskilful_a question_n with_o you_o of_o this_o and_o that_o you_o may_v be_v the_o short_a and_o i_o will_v promise_v you_o not_o to_o trouble_v you_o with_o any_o more_o question_n but_o to_o suffer_v you_o to_o speak_v and_o to_o hold_v your_o peace_n at_o your_o own_o pleasure_n sch._n your_o virtue_n be_v not_o to_o be_v attribute_v to_o god_n because_o his_o nature_n be_v not_o capable_a of_o these_o pleasure_n he_o indeed_o live_v or_o rather_o exi_v in_o the_o perfection_n of_o i_o will_v not_o say_v a_o shame_n for_o a_o man_n that_o have_v toil_v all_o the_o day_n long_o many_o a_o long_a mile_n through_o thick_a and_o thin_a to_o give_v over_o at_o the_o last_o cast_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o place_n whither_o he_o go_v if_o you_o have_v perhaps_o touch_v these_o attribute_n by_o the_o way_n upon_o some_o occasion_n it_o follow_v not_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v deny_v their_o proper_a and_o due_a place_n in_o this_o work_n the_o which_o without_o they_o will_v be_v maim_v and_o imperfect_a i_o like_v well_o that_o we_o light_n and_o lead_v for_o so_o we_o shall_v have_v the_o more_o time_n for_o conference_n but_o for_o our_o lodging_n we_o will_v not_o trouble_v ourselves_o as_o yet_o but_o rather_o take_v it_o as_o we_o find_v it_o and_o therefore_o i_o pray_v you_o let_v i_o hear_v and_o know_v somewhat_o of_o these_o also_o in_o particular_a and_o first_o why_o you_o call_v they_o external_a attribute_n sch._n i_o hope_v your_o meaning_n be_v not_o that_o we_o shall_v go_v reason_v into_o the_o town_n for_o so_o we_o shall_v have_v moderatour_n enough_o to_o cut_v we_o off_o but_o to_o shut_v up_o these_o thing_n brief_o they_o be_v call_v external_a not_o as_o if_o there_o be_v any_o such_o difference_n of_o external_a &_o internal_a in_o god_n as_o in_o man_n consist_v of_o a_o outward_a body_n and_o a_o inward_a near_o the_o understanding_n which_o be_v the_o root_n of_o god_n essence_n then_o be_v his_o infinite_a continuance_n although_o not_o more_o essential_a even_o as_o we_o see_v that_o those_o part_n
