the_o israelite_n as_o though_o the_o church_n of_o god_n shall_v thereby_o come_v to_o ruin_v the_o prophet_n comfort_v they_o and_o strengthen_v their_o say_v against_o such_o doubt_n by_o assure_v they_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v make_v good_a his_o promise_n concern_v the_o multiply_a of_o abraham_n seed_n as_o the_o star_n of_o heaven_n and_o that_o this_o rejection_n of_o the_o rebellious_a israelite_n shall_v be_v so_o far_o from_o hinder_v of_o it_o that_o he_o will_v in_o his_o infinite_a wisdom_n make_v it_o a_o occasion_n of_o accomplish_v his_o promise_n and_o multiply_v his_o contradict_v god_n promise_v make_v to_o abraham_n concern_v the_o multiply_a of_o his_o seed_n but_o notwithstanding_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v execute_v those_o judgement_n which_o i_o have_v denounce_v yet_o he_o be_v not_o unmindful_a of_o his_o promise_n but_o will_v though_o he_o cast_v off_o the_o rebellious_a israelite_n multiply_v the_o true_a son_n and_o child_n of_o abraham_n consist_v not_o only_a of_o the_o believe_a israelite_n but_o also_o of_o the_o believe_a gentile_n which_o by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v be_v convert_v unto_o the_o faith_n and_o the_o whole_a church_n of_o god_n under_o the_o government_n of_o christ_n consist_v of_o all_o believer_n both_o jew_n israelite_n and_o gentile_n for_o israel_n in_o the_o scripture_n â—_o diverse_o show_n and_o ceremony_n whereas_o they_o be_v destitute_a of_o all_o correspondency_n in_o substance_n sincerity_n and_o truth_n and_o together_o how_o we_o may_v beat_v down_o their_o pride_n and_o answer_v their_o vain_a brag_n the_o israelite_n rest_v in_o the_o outward_a title_n of_o the_o posterity_n of_o abraham_n the_o church_n and_o people_n of_o god_n and_o in_o perform_v some_o external_a worship_n consist_v rather_o in_o ceremony_n then_o in_o substance_n in_o vain_a show_n and_o shadow_n and_o not_o in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n be_v hereby_o so_o puff_v up_o in_o pride_n and_o lull_v asleep_a in_o such_o deep_a security_n that_o they_o imagine_v god_n can_v not_o be_v true_a of_o his_o word_n unless_o they_o be_v preserve_v and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o way_n but_o the_o church_n must_v needs_o utter_o perish_v if_o they_o be_v overthrow_v and_o reject_v and_o therefore_o against_o all_o the_o threaten_n of_o the_o true_a prophet_n they_o oppose_v these_o title_n and_o shadow_n that_o they_o be_v the_o posterity_n of_o abraham_n the_o church_n of_o god_n his_o choose_a people_n who_o be_v in_o the_o covenant_n and_o such_o as_o have_v the_o temple_n ark_n and_o law_n among_o they_o and_o with_o these_o buckler_n they_o fence_v and_o bear_v off_o all_o threaten_n of_o their_o ruin_n and_o destruction_n and_o keep_v they_o from_o wound_v their_o conscience_n with_o unfeigned_a sorrow_n for_o their_o sin_n and_o withal_o be_v move_v hereby_o to_o condemn_v the_o prophet_n to_o be_v liar_n who_o speak_v not_o from_o the_o lord_n but_o that_o they_o be_v not_o the_o child_n of_o abraham_n according_a to_o the_o spirit_n not_o in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n which_o they_o have_v often_o break_v not_o the_o true_a church_n and_o people_n of_o god_n see_v they_o have_v forsake_v he_o and_o in_o stead_n of_o his_o true_a worship_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v perform_v in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n they_o offer_v unto_o he_o a_o false_a worship_n according_a to_o
