sponsor_n surety_n or_o trustee_n moreover_o if_o he_o shall_v as_o i_o shall_v hereafter_o show_v you_o lose_v one_o child_n he_o lose_v one_o of_o the_o member_n of_o his_o own_o mystical_a body_n now_o from_o the_o whole_a let_v i_o draw_v this_o general_a argument_n and_o so_o conclude_v with_o this_o 1._o if_o every_o true_a believer_n be_v beget_v and_o bear_v of_o god_n argument_n 2._o if_o they_o partake_v of_o his_o holy_a and_o divine_a nature_n 3._o if_o child_n can_v cease_v be_v child_n or_o that_o relation_n continue_v as_o long_o as_o life_n continue_v however_o disobedient_a the_o child_n may_v be_v and_o if_o it_o be_v thus_o with_o the_o child_n of_o god_n who_o be_v beget_v and_o bear_v of_o he_o or_o by_o his_o spirit_n that_o they_o can_v cease_v be_v his_o child_n nor_o lose_v that_o divine_a nature_n they_o derive_v from_o he_o in_o regeneration_n 4._o if_o god_n have_v provide_v so_o well_o for_o his_o own_o child_n in_o the_o covenant_n that_o of_o the_o spirit_n may_v perish_v be_v strange_o becloud_v for_o they_o must_v suppose_v that_o a_o child_n may_v utter_o lose_v the_o nature_n and_o relation_n of_o a_o child_n and_o degenerate_a restauration_n that_o be_v such_o that_o it_o can_v be_v lose_v any_o more_o without_o the_o high_a dishonour_n to_o god_n and_o a_o frustration_n of_o his_o eternal_a purpose_n and_o counsel_n which_o be_v to_o destroy_v the_o work_n of_o the_o devil_n if_o any_o shall_v object_v that_o adam_n have_v the_o image_n of_o god_n in_o he_o before_o he_o fall_v and_o lose_v it_o i_o answer_v he_o may_v bring_v forth_o some_o sort_n of_o fruit_n for_o a_o while_n but_o for_o want_v of_o a_o real_a union_n with_o christ_n they_o have_v not_o a_o supply_n of_o grace_n and_o divine_a sap_n from_o the_o root_n they_o abide_v not_o in_o christ_n that_o be_v in_o a_o visible_a profession_n but_o be_v cast_v forth_o as_o wither_a branch_n and_o at_o last_o will_v be_v cast_v into_o the_o fire_n but_o now_o whosoever_o bring_v forth_o true_a spiritual_a fruit_n who_o be_v visible_o in_o christ_n the_o vine_n he_o will_v god_n purge_v that_o he_o may_v bring_v forth_o more_o fruit._n and_o honour_n o_o how_o many_o love_n worldly_a grandeur_n and_o a_o name_n among_o man_n above_o the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n these_o be_v like_o those_o jew_n who_o be_v say_v to_o believe_v
