may_v live_v at_o liberty_n and_o walk_v according_a to_o their_o own_o humour_n yea_o sin_n in_o such_o by_o the_o commandment_n become_v exceed_o sinful_a as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v rom._n 7.13_o not_o by_o way_n of_o declaration_n for_o that_o be_v not_o the_o purpose_n and_o intention_n of_o the_o place_n but_o by_o way_n of_o irritation_n when_o the_o commandment_n labour_v to_o lay_v and_o to_o the_o obligation_n of_o it_o so_o there_o be_v other_o that_o stand_v out_o against_o the_o law_n and_o they_o be_v much_o the_o worse_o for_o it_o
when_o we_o threaten_v judgement_n when_o we_o retain_v the_o sin_n of_o man_n when_o we_o give_v they_o up_o to_o satan_n either_o in_o preach_v or_o in_o church-censure_n when_o we_o say_v of_o any_o person_n take_v he_o satan_n our_o aim_n must_v be_v that_o christ_n may_v have_v he_o that_o his_o corruption_n may_v be_v mortify_v and_o that_o he_o may_v be_v save_v by_o this_o mean_n and_o therefore_o let_v the_o minister_n of_o jesus_n christ_n have_v this_o continual_o in_o their_o eye_n how_o they_o may_v reach_v this_o great_a end_n let_v all_o his_o under-officer_n in_o the_o for_o the_o peace_n and_o welfare_n of_o the_o saint_n our_o heart_n will_v be_v in_o a_o more_o sweet_a and_o holy_a temper_n than_o they_o be_v sometime_o in_o such_o case_n for_o than_o my_o brethren_n we_o shall_v see_v the_o love_n of_o christ_n in_o all_o these_o dispensation_n of_o his_o wrath_n the_o more_o his_o anger_n be_v declare_v at_o any_o time_n against_o the_o wicked_a the_o come_v not_o to_o destroy_v you_o but_o to_o save_v his_o own_o people_n and_o therefore_o if_o you_o be_v destroy_v thank_v yourselves_o and_o not_o he_o your_o help_n if_o you_o have_v any_o be_v of_o he_o but_o your_o destruction_n be_v of_o yourselves_o do_v but_o consider_v i_o beseech_v you_o what_o christ_n have_v do_v what_o mean_v he_o have_v afford_v you_o for_o your_o salvation_n he_o so_o that_o there_o be_v not_o one_o of_o you_o exclude_v from_o it_o because_o it_o will_v not_o reach_v to_o you_o as_o well_o as_o other_o because_o it_o be_v too_o narrow_a and_o too_o scant_o to_o satisfy_v for_o all_o if_o all_o shall_v apprehend_v it_o and_o lie_v hold_v upon_o it_o no_o he_o have_v order_v matter_n so_o that_o there_o be_v enough_o put_v in_o not_o for_o believer_n only_o but_o for_o they_o that_o perish_v too_o and_o that_o which_o be_v put_v in_o as_o it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o you_o so_o it_o be_v applicable_a to_o you_o as_o well_o as_o other_o as_o it_o be_v pay_v in_o your_o nature_n so_o any_o of_o your_o nature_n may_v partake_v it_o if_o they_o will_v lay_v hold_n upon_o it_o it_o be_v a_o satisfaction_n which_o nothing_o but_o your_o unbelief_n and_o your_o refusal_n can_v make_v you_o uncapable_a of_o and_o hence_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v a_o tender_a of_o it_o to_o be_v make_v the_o gospel_n to_o be_v preach_v to_o you_o as_o well_o as_o other_o so_o run_v the_o tenor_n of_o his_o own_o commission_n go_v preach_v the_o gospel_n to_o every_o creature_n tell_v every_o man_n without_o exception_n that_o there_o be_v good_a news_n some_o be_v teach_v of_o god_n and_o they_o that_o be_v teach_v of_o man_n will_v not_o agree_v with_o they_o that_o be_v teach_v of_o god_n and_o they_o that_o be_v teach_v of_o god_n can_v agree_v with_o they_o that_o be_v teach_v of_o man_n and_o so_o they_o be_v continual_o wrangle_v and_o contend_v and_o contradict_v one_o another_o they_o can_v never_o fadge_v together_o but_o now_o when_o god_n shall_v come_v to_o teach_v they_o all_o in_o every_o thing_n than_o they_o shall_v think_v and_o speak_v the_o same_o thing_n than_o they_o shall_v quarrel_v and_o contest_v no_o more_o but_o they_o shall_v all_o of_o they_o agree_v and_o live_v in_o unity_n and_o love_n together_o and_o therefore_o let_v we_o earnest_o beseech_v the_o lord_n to_o do_v this_o to_o leave_v his_o child_n now_o no_o long_o out_o at_o school_n but_o speedy_o to_o fetch_v they_o home_o and_o to_o teach_v they_o all_o himself_o that_o be_v all_o of_o one_o school_n under_o one_o chief_a master_n and_o that_o he_o have_v be_v lose_v though_o his_o destruction_n have_v never_o be_v foretell_v in_o scripture_n he_o be_v not_o lose_v the_o rather_o because_o his_o loss_n be_v prophesy_v but_o it_o be_v prophesy_v because_o he_o be_v before_o from_o all_o eternity_n appoint_v to_o perdition_n and_o be_v prophesy_v when_o the_o event_n fall_v out_o according_o it_o look_v as_o if_o the_o pprophecy_n have_v be_v the_o cause_n of_o his_o destruction_n so_o that_o the_o particle_n that_o as_o a_o very_a learned_a man_n observe_v upon_o the_o text_n judas_n be_v lose_v that_o the_o scripture_n may_v be_v fulfil_v denote_v not_o the_o true_a but_o the_o appear_a cause_n only_o yet_o thus_o much_o it_o suggest_v withal_o which_o shall_v be_v our_o observation_n doctrine_n that_o whatsoever_o be_v foretell_v in_o scripture_n shall_v sure_o be_v accomplish_v and_o fulfil_v the_o issue_n and_o event_n shall_v answer_v the_o prediction_n every_o way_n in_o all_o respect_n and_o therefore_o it_o see_v that_o place_n for_o instance_n mat._n 2.14_o 15._o joseph_n arise_v and_o take_v the_o child_n and_o depart_v into_o egypt_n that_o it_o may_v be_v fulfil_v which_o be_v speak_v by_o the_o prophet_n say_v out_o of_o egypt_n have_v i_o call_v my_o son_n and_o after_o in_o the_o follow_a verse_n herod_n send_v forth_o and_o slay_v the_o child_n from_o two_o year_n old_a and_o under_o then_o be_v fulfil_v that_o which_o be_v speak_v by_o the_o prophet_n say_v in_o rama_fw-mi be_v a_o voice_n hear_v lamentation_n and_o weep_v and_o great_a mourning_n rachel_n weep_v for_o her_o child_n and_o will_v not_o be_v comfort_v because_o they_o be_v not_o and_o so_o in_o many_o other_o place_n the_o apostle_n very_o careful_o observe_v the_o punctual_a and_o exact_a accomplishment_n of_o the_o ancient_a prophecy_n and_o speak_v sometime_o in_o such_o a_o manner_n as_o if_o thing_n come_v to_o pass_v for_o no_o other_o cause_n but_o this_o because_o they_o be_v foretell_v in_o scripture_n and_o that_o the_o scripture_n may_v be_v fulfil_v whereas_o indeed_o they_o have_v be_v do_v though_o they_o have_v never_o be_v foretell_v because_o they_o be_v fore-determine_a only_a they_o will_v have_v we_o know_v that_o whatsoever_o be_v foretell_v shall_v certain_o be_v do_v in_o god_n time_n it_o be_v easy_a say_v our_o saviour_n for_o heaven_n and_o earth_n to_o pass_v away_o then_o for_o one_o title_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o

true_a yea_o he_o be_v the_o god_n of_o truth_n as_o the_o prophet_n david_n style_v he_o psal_n 31.5_o and_o therefore_o that_o which_o he_o foretell_v must_v be_v accomplish_v and_o fulfil_v observe_v it_o well_o my_o brethren_n the_o prophet_n do_v not_o say_v he_o be_v the_o true_a god_n in_o himself_o and_o in_o his_o nature_n but_o he_o be_v the_o god_n of_o truth_n in_o his_o discovery_n and_o in_o his_o revelation_n of_o himself_o to_o man_n all_o that_o come_v from_o he_o be_v truth_n he_o be_v the_o faithful_a and_o the_o true_a witness_n apoc._n 3.14_o not_o only_o son_n out_o of_o his_o bosom_n to_o suffer_v shame_n and_o death_n for_o poor_a creature_n and_o have_v do_v it_o he_o send_v his_o messenger_n to_o mind_n man_n of_o the_o danger_n they_o be_v in_o without_o christ_n and_o to_o exhibit_v and_o propose_v he_o to_o they_o as_o the_o mean_n the_o only_a mean_n of_o their_o salvation_n and_o as_o endeavour_v to_o overcome_v man_n with_o his_o goodness_n he_o do_v in_o love_n and_o pity_n beg_v they_o and_o beseech_v they_o to_o accept_v of_o it_o and_o what_o be_v the_o event_n of_o this_o why_o my_o beloved_a when_o he_o have_v abase_v himself_o so_o low_o and_o stoop_v so_o much_o below_o himself_o as_o to_o become_v a_o suitor_n to_o they_o to_o receive_v his_o son_n they_o carry_v matter_n so_o as_o if_o he_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o they_o as_o if_o he_o come_v to_o make_v a_o motion_n to_o they_o for_o his_o own_o advantage_n as_o if_o he_o know_v not_o what_o to_o do_v if_o they_o shall_v refuse_v his_o son_n be_v not_o this_o good_a usage_n that_o when_o he_o have_v descend_v so_o in_o way_n of_o mercy_n they_o shall_v shake_v he_o off_o and_o tell_v he_o in_o effect_n that_o his_o proffer_a ware_n stink_v and_o
