that_o this_o subordination_n of_o these_o sacred_a person_n be_v found_v not_o only_o in_o these_o their_o personal_a inequality_n but_o also_o in_o a_o mutual_a agreement_n between_o they_o in_o to_o the_o reduce_v we_o to_o our_o bind_a allegiance_n but_o also_o die_v a_o sacrifice_n for_o our_o sin_n upon_o which_o agreement_n the_o father_n long_o before_o the_o son_n have_v actual_o perform_v his_o part_n of_o it_o even_o from_o our_o first_o apostasy_n grant_v his_o spirit_n to_o mankind_n which_o spirit_n be_v grant_v to_o this_o end_n that_o under_o the_o son_n he_o shall_v mediate_v with_o man_n in_o order_n to_o the_o reduce_v they_o to_o their_o due_a subjection_n to_o the_o father_n for_o all_o that_o heavenly_a influence_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n shed_v forth_o even_o from_o the_o fall_n of_o man_n to_o his_o incarnation_n for_o so_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o old_a world_n we_o read_v of_o the_o spirit_n be_v strive_v with_o man_n i._n e._n in_o order_n to_o the_o subdue_a their_o stubborn_a will_n to_o a_o due_a subjection_n to_o the_o will_n of_o the_o father_n gen._n
with_o each_o other_o and_o this_o be_v the_o stand_a government_n and_o discipline_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n no_o particular_a church_n or_o community_n of_o christian_n can_v refuse_v to_o communicate_v in_o it_o without_o divide_v itself_o from_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n catholic_n i_o say_v refuse_v to_o communicate_v in_o it_o because_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o a_o think_v such_o a_o church_n to_o be_v separate_v from_o the_o church_n catholic_n it_o be_v indeed_o a_o imperfect_a and_o defective_a part_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n and_o if_o this_o defect_n of_o it_o be_v any_o way_n owe_v to_o its_o own_o negligence_n it_o be_v a_o very_a great_a fault_n in_o it_o as_o well_o as_o a_o unhappiness_n but_o though_o this_o institute_v government_n be_v necessary_a to_o the_o perfection_n of_o a_o church_n yet_o it_o do_v not_o therefore_o follow_v that_o it_o be_v necessary_a to_o the_o be_v of_o it_o for_o even_o in_o the_o jewish_a church_n wherein_o all_o thing_n be_v determine_v by_o divine_a institution_n even_o to_o the_o minute_a circumstance_n there_o be_v sundry_a notorious_a deviation_n from_o that_o institution_n which_o yet_o do_v not_o un-church_n they_o it_o be_v a_o great_a deviation_n in_o they_o to_o offer_v sacrifice_n in_o their_o high_a place_n after_o god_n have_v determine_v they_o to_o sacrifice_n only_o at_o the_o temple_n at_o jerusalem_n it_o be_v another_o great_a deviation_n in_o they_o to_o make_v priest_n out_o of_o other_o family_n after_o god_n have_v determine_v they_o to_o the_o family_n of_o aaron_n and_o yet_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o neither_o the_o one_o nor_o the_o other_o do_v un-church_n they_o and_o if_o these_o deviation_n from_o divine_a institution_n which_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o their_o negligence_n do_v not_o yet_o un-church_n they_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v imagine_v that_o such_o deviation_n from_o it_o as_o be_v the_o pure_a effect_n of_o necessity_n shall_v un-church_n other_o for_o though_o no_o necessity_n can_v dispense_v with_o the_o eternal_a law_n of_o good_a and_o evil_n because_o the_o observance_n of_o they_o depend_v whole_o upon_o our_o will_n and_o there_o be_v no_o such_o necessity_n can_v happen_v to_o we_o as_o can_v put_v they_o out_o of_o the_o power_n of_o a_o willing_a mind_n yet_o as_o for_o positive_a institution_n there_o be_v a_o thousand_o necessity_n may_v occur_v any_o one_o of_o which_o may_v render_v they_o whole_o unpracticable_a and_o then_o no_o man_n can_v be_v oblige_v to_o do_v that_o which_o be_v impossible_a as_o for_o instance_n the_o whole_a family_n of_o aaron_n may_v have_v be_v extinct_a and_o if_o it_o have_v it_o be_v evident_a that_o positive_a institution_n by_o which_o god_n require_v the_o jew_n to_o choose_v their_o priest_n out_o of_o the_o family_n of_o aaron_n must_v have_v be_v whole_o unpracticable_a and_o consequent_o the_o obligation_n of_o it_o must_v have_v for_o ever_o expire_v and_o they_o must_v have_v be_v oblige_v notwithstanding_o that_o positive_a institution_n either_o whole_o to_o have_v drop_v their_o priesthood_n and_o with_o that_o their_o public_a worship_n which_o be_v much_o more_o necessary_a to_o they_o than_o that_o their_o priest_n shall_v be_v all_o of_o such_o a_o family_n or_o to_o have_v choose_v their_o priest_n out_o of_o other_o family_n of_o the_o tribe_n of_o levi_n and_o if_o in_o this_o exigence_n they_o have_v do_v the_o late_a there_o be_v no_o doubt_n but_o that_o the_o divine_a providence_n which_o create_v the_o necessity_n must_v thereby_o have_v design_o dispense_v with_o its_o own_o institution_n and_o so_o have_v leave_v they_o free_a to_o make_v priest_n out_o of_o other_o family_n and_o by_o the_o same_o reason_n when_o ever_o the_o divine_a providence_n do_v by_o unavoidable_a necessity_n deprive_v any_o church_n of_o its_o episcopacy_n it_o thereby_o for_o the_o present_a at_o least_o and_o whilst_o the_o necessity_n continue_v releases_z it_o from_o the_o obligation_n of_o the_o institution_n of_o episcopacy_n and_o allow_v it_o to_o administer_v its_o government_n and_o disscipline_n by_o a_o parity_n of_o presbyter_n and_o therefore_o so_o long_o as_o it_o do_v not_o renounce_v the_o episcopacy_n but_o still_o continue_v in_o communion_n with_o other_o church_n that_o enjoy_v it_o it_o ought_v to_o be_v look_v upon_o and_o communicate_v with_o as_o a_o true_a member_n though_o a_o maim_a one_o of_o the_o church_n catholic_n for_o the_o catholic_n church_n never_o deny_v her_o communion_n to_o any_o christian_a or_o community_n of_o christian_n upon_o any_o unavoidable_a deviation_n from_o positive_a institution_n it_o be_v without_o doubt_n as_o great_a a_o deviation_n from_o positive_a institution_n for_o layman_n to_o baptise_v as_o for_o a_o parity_n of_o presbyter_n to_o govern_v or_o ordain_v etc._n etc._n and_o yet_o in_o case_n of_o necessity_n the_o catholic_n church_n always_o allow_v the_o baptism_n of_o layman_n as_o deem_v baptism_n in_o itself_o more_o necessary_a than_o the_o administration_n of_o baptism_n by_o person_n in_o holy_a order_n and_o therefore_o where_o such_o person_n can_v not_o be_v have_v she_o think_v meet_v rather_o to_o admit_v that_o layman_n shall_v administer_v it_o than_o to_o suffer_v such_o as_o be_v qualify_v for_o it_o to_o die_v unbaptise_v and_o why_o may_v we_o not_o reasonable_o suppose_v that_o the_o catholic_n church_n will_v admit_v presbyter_n to_o govern_v and_o ordain_v where_o there_o be_v no_o bishop_n to_o be_v have_v since_o it_o have_v admit_v layman_n to_o baptise_v where_o there_o be_v neither_o bishop_n nor_o presbyter_n to_o be_v have_v since_o the_o late_a be_v as_o great_a a_o deflection_n from_o positive_a institution_n as_o the_o former_a and_o if_o the_o catholic_n church_n may_v be_v reasonable_o presume_v to_o allow_v it_o in_o such_o necessary_a case_n we_o must_v acknowledge_v either_o that_o she_o have_v not_o authority_n enough_o to_o provide_v against_o she_o own_o necessity_n which_o suppose_v she_o to_o be_v very_o defective_a or_o that_o her_o allowance_n be_v sufficient_a to_o authorise_v such_o person_n to_o rule_n and_o ordain_v as_o well_o as_o to_o baptise_v in_o case_n of_o necessity_n as_o be_v not_o authorize_v by_o positive_a institution_n but_o though_o a_o community_n of_o christian_n may_v be_v a_o true_a part_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n and_o in_o communion_n with_o it_o though_o it_o have_v no_o episcopacy_n yet_o it_o be_v plain_a case_n that_o if_o it_o reject_v the_o episcopacy_n and_o separate_v from_o the_o communion_n of_o it_o it_o thereby_o whole_o divide_v itself_o from_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n for_o whether_o episcopacy_n be_v of_o divine_a institution_n or_o no_o this_o be_v matter_n of_o fact_n grant_v on_o all_o hand_n that_o for_o twelve_o hundred_o year_n at_o least_o all_o those_o church_n into_o which_o the_o catholic_n church_n have_v be_v distribute_v have_v be_v subject_a to_o the_o episcopal_a government_n and_o discipline_n and_o therefore_o they_o who_o now_o separate_v themselves_o from_o the_o episcopal_a communion_n as_o such_o must_v in_o so_o do_v separate_a themselves_o from_o the_o communion_n of_o all_o church_n for_o twelve_o hundred_o year_n together_o and_o then_o either_o all_o those_o church_n must_v be_v out_o of_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n and_o consequent_o during_o all_o that_o time_n there_o must_v be_v no_o such_o thing_n as_o a_o visible_a catholic_n church_n upon_o earth_n or_o else_o those_o community_n of_o christian_n which_o separate_v from_o all_o those_o church_n must_v be_v schism_n and_o separation_n from_o the_o catholic_n church_n sect_n ix_o concern_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ._n have_v in_o the_o forego_n section_n treat_v at_o large_a concern_v the_o state_n of_o our_o nature_n by_o fancy_n and_o imagination_n as_o well_o as_o by_o sight_n and_o feeling_n it_o be_v doubtless_o a_o most_o advantageous_a circumstance_n of_o god_n government_n of_o the_o world_n that_o he_o govern_v we_o by_o one_o who_o we_o can_v fancy_v and_o imagine_v when_o we_o can_v see_v or_o feel_v he_o there_o be_v a_o great_a many_o man_n that_o never_o see_v the_o king_n who_o yet_o be_v overawe_v by_o the_o imagination_n they_o have_v of_o his_o majesty_n and_o greatness_n whereas_o be_v not_o the_o king_n a_o man_n but_o a_o pure_a invisible_a spirit_n they_o can_v form_v no_o imagination_n of_o he_o the_o want_n of_o which_o will_v very_o much_o abate_v if_o not_o utter_o extinguish_v their_o awe_n and_o reverence_n of_o his_o person_n consider_v with_o a_o awful_a sense_n of_o his_o divine_a perfection_n which_o still_o maintain_v in_o we_o religious_a inclination_n and_o affection_n whereby_o we_o be_v importune_v and_o solicit_v to_o
