give_v they_o warning_n of_o the_o approach_a judgement_n and_o to_o call_v a_o convocation_n for_o fast_v as_o it_o be_v v._o 15._o doct._n 1._o whatever_o the_o lord_n say_v to_o sinner_n by_o his_o rod_n when_o it_o be_v imminent_a and_o incumbent_n yet_o such_o as_o will_v have_v good_a use_n of_o it_o have_v need_n of_o the_o help_n of_o the_o word_n and_o ordinance_n with_o it_o either_o for_o prevention_n preparation_n or_o use_v of_o it_o for_o the_o trumpet_n must_v be_v blow_v either_o to_o warn_v they_o before_o it_o come_v or_o to_o stir_v they_o up_o to_o be_v sensible_a and_o to_o do_v duty_n when_o it_o come_v 2._o whoever_o be_v asleep_a in_o time_n of_o threaten_a or_o incumbent_a danger_n yet_o minister_n ought_v especial_o to_o be_v awake_a that_o they_o may_v stir_v place_n where_o the_o priest_n sound_v and_o where_o the_o people_n be_v to_o meet_v for_o solemn_a worship_n but_o that_o all_o this_o calamity_n be_v on_o a_o church_n whereof_o zion_n and_o the_o mountain_n of_o the_o temple_n be_v a_o type_n therefore_o they_o shall_v be_v sensible_a and_o hearken_v to_o these_o alarm_n and_o invitation_n 6_o when_o god_n threaten_v or_o inflict_v judgement_n it_o become_v all_o to_o be_v deep_o sensible_a and_o not_o to_o please_v themselves_o with_o formality_n or_o trifle_n with_o outward_a show_n but_o they_o shall_v quake_v at_o the_o heart_n at_o to_o a_o people_n by_o his_o judgement_n and_o by_o unnatural_a and_o extraordinary_a sign_n and_o wonder_n to_o let_v they_o know_v his_o anger_n so_o much_o may_v be_v gather_v from_o this_o earthquake_n which_o be_v a_o terrible_a stroke_n and_o warning_n to_o that_o people_n who_o believe_v not_o and_o therefore_o be_v take_v special_a notice_n of_o here_o and_o long_o after_o zech._n see_v god_n in_o calamity_n ascribe_v their_o own_o affliction_n to_o fortune_n or_o chance_n among_o the_o
be_v v._o 15._o shall_v deliver_v they_o nor_o strength_n of_o body_n or_o courage_n of_o mind_n as_o the_o two_o word_n v._o 14._o may_v be_v distinguish_v nor_o provision_n of_o armour_n and_o skill_n to_o use_v it_o for_o offence_n at_o distance_n make_v they_o dare_v to_o stand_v and_o face_n their_o enemy_n but_o even_o the_o stout_a shall_v think_v it_o fare_v well_o with_o he_o if_o he_o escape_v with_o his_o life_n when_o he_o have_v cast_v away_o his_o apparel_n whence_o learn_v 1._o when_o god_n patience_n be_v come_v to_o a_o period_n it_o will_v appear_v in_o sad_a and_o horse_n strength_n or_o courage_n will_v do_v no_o good_a 4._o such_o as_o do_v oppress_v other_o and_o do_v not_o spare_v the_o very_a garment_n of_o the_o poor_a so_o they_o may_v enrich_v themselves_o be_v just_o environ_v with_o these_o strait_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v a_o deliverance_n to_o they_o to_o get_v their_o life_n for_o a_o prey_n though_o they_o have_v not_o so_o much_o wickedness_n which_o they_o will_v abhor_v in_o which_o we_o may_v consider_v 1._o albeit_o israel_n will_v not_o hear_v nor_o can_v bear_v these_o threaten_n as_o appear_v from_o the_o former_a
