unto_o a_o young_a man_n and_o he_o haste_v to_o make_v it_o ready_a at_o once_o 8_o and_o he_o take_v butter_n and_o milk_n and_o the_o calf_n which_o he_o have_v prepare_v and_o set_v it_o before_o they_o and_o stand_v himself_o by_o they_o under_o the_o tree_n and_o they_o do_v eat_v 9_o and_o they_o say_v unto_o he_o where_o be_v sara_n thy_o wife_n he_o answer_v behold_v in_o the_o tent._n 10_o and_o he_o say_v 19_o i_o will_v certain_o return_v unto_o thou_o if_o i_o live_v and_o so_o sara_n thy_o wife_n shall_v have_v a_o son_n 1._o that_o hear_v sara_n in_o the_o tent_n door_n but_o thou_o do_v laugh_v 16_o and_o the_o man_n rise_v up_o from_o thence_o look_v towards_o sodom_n and_o abraham_n go_v with_o they_o to_o bring_v they_o on_o the_o way_n 17_o and_o the_o lord_n say_v shall_v i_o hide_v from_o abraham_n that_o thing_n which_o i_o do_v 18_o see_v that_o abraham_n shall_v sure_o be_v a_o great_a and_o a_o mighty_a nation_n and_o all_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o earth_n shall_v be_v bless_v in_o he_o 3._o 19_o i_o know_v this_o also_o that_o he_o will_v command_v his_o child_n and_o his_o household_n after_o he_o that_o they_o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o do_v justice_n and_o judgement_n that_o the_o lord_n may_v bring_v upon_o abraham_n that_o he_o have_v speak_v unto_o he_o 20_o and_o the_o lord_n say_v because_o the_o cry_n of_o sodom_n and_o gomorrhe_n be_v great_a and_o because_o their_o sin_n be_v exceed_a grievous_a 21_o i_o will_v go_v down_o now_o and_o see_v whether_o they_o have_v do_v altogether_o according_a to_o that_o cry_n which_o be_v come_v unto_o i_o and_o if_o not_o i_o will_v know_v 22_o and_o the_o man_n depart_v thence_o and_o go_v to_o sodomewarde_o but_o abraham_n stand_v yet_o before_o the_o lord_n 23_o and_o abraham_n draw_v near_o and_o say_v will_v thou_o also_o destroy_v the_o righteous_a with_o the_o wicked_a 24_o if_o there_o be_v
their_o appoint_a office_n be_v do_v the_o meat_n and_o drink_v vanish_v away_o together_o with_o the_o body_n and_o they_o say_v unto_o he_o where_o be_v sarah_n thy_o wife_n 11._o he_o answer_v 34._o when_o the_o angel_n say_v that_o at_o his_o return_n sarah_n shall_v have_v a_o child_n it_o may_v be_v think_v that_o sarah_n listen_v behind_o the_o tent_n door_n what_o talk_v the_o stranger_n have_v with_o her_o husband_n wherein_o she_o by_o example_n declare_v how_o hard_o a_o matter_n it_o be_v to_o have_v even_o the_o honest_a and_o most_o chaste_a matron_n to_o leave_v all_o manner_n of_o womanly_a curiosity_n although_o as_o a_o modest_a and_o sober_a wife_n she_o stay_v within_o the_o tent_n and_o come_v not_o forth_o to_o show_v herself_o unto_o the_o stranger_n yet_o can_v she_o not_o overcome_v this_o tentation_n of_o curious_a desire_n to_o know_v what_o be_v speak_v when_o sarah_n he_o arde_v the_o angel_n say_v she_o shall_v have_v a_o child_n she_o laugh_v at_o it_o as_o a_o vain_a and_o unlikely_a thing_n and_o therein_o undoubted_o do_v great_o offend_v for_o she_o may_v well_o know_v that_o promise_n come_v from_o god_n be_v so_o well_o agree_v with_o that_o which_o be_v speak_v to_o her_o husband_n not_o long_o before_o and_o therefore_o by_o unlikelyhode_n of_o nature_n to_o deride_v it_o as_o false_a be_v in_o her_o much_o rashness_n but_o that_o which_o follow_v be_v of_o womanly_a bashfulness_n when_o she_o be_v charge_v for_o her_o laugh_a be_v some_o what_o astonish_v do_v deny_v it_o sarah_n laugh_v not_o aloud_o as_o the_o manner_n of_o dissolute_a woman_n be_v but_o soft_o within_o herself_o when_o it_o be_v say_v it_o cease_v to_o be_v with_o sarah_n after_o the_o manner_n as_o it_o be_v with_o woman_n the_o meaning_n be_v she_o have_v not_o those_o superfluity_n that_o all_o woman_n natural_o have_v so_o long_o as_o they_o by_o age_n may_v have_v child_n as_o her_o chastity_n be_v to_o be_v reverence_v so_o be_v it_o a_o great_a blame_n and_o fault_n in_o she_o not_o only_o to_o *_o mistrust_n the_o promise_n of_o god_n 18._o but_o also_o to_o laugh_v it_o to_o scorn_n because_o it_o seem_v unlikely_a to_o natural_a reason_n and_o the_o man_n rise_v up_o from_o thence_o look_v towards_o sodom_n 19_o etc_n etc_n abraham_n perform_v that_o which_o be_v the_o three_o part_n of_o hospitality_n that_o be_v courtesy_n in_o dismiss_v his_o gest_n he_o take_v not_o his_o leave_n of_o they_o at_o his_o tent_n but_o perceive_v their_o journey_n towards_o sodom_n go_v part_n of_o the_o way_n with_o they_o which_o his_o pain_n god_n well_o requite_v open_v to_o he_o by_o his_o angel_n the_o purpose_n to_o destroy_v sodom_n for_o the_o horrible_a sin_n and_o wickedness_n thereof_o shall_v i_o say_v the_o lord_n hide_v from_o abraham_n that_o thing_n which_o i_o do_v see_v that_o abraham_n shall_v sure_o be_v etc_n etc_n it_o may_v be_v that_o one_o of_o the_o angel_n be_v their_o office_n and_o duty_n to_o see_v their_o family_n *_o instruct_v and_o teach_v 4._o and_o that_o in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o be_v careful_a for_o they_o that_o they_o may_v not_o only_o live_v virtuous_o and_o godly_a while_o they_o be_v child_n and_o servant_n under_o they_o but_o after_o their_o life_n too_o but_o father_n now_o a_o day_n be_v far_o from_o this_o care_n they_o devise_v how_o to_o *_o leave_n their_o child_n rich_a and_o wealthy_a 16_o but_o of_o the_o instruction_n and_o teach_n how_o to_o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o have_v god_n know_v so_o small_a regard_n as_o though_o it_o do_v nothing_o appertain_v unto_o they_o and_o the_o lord_n say_v 21._o because_o the_o cry_n of_o sodom_n and_o gomorrha_n be_v great_a etc_n etc_n there_o be_v a_o double_a cry_n that_o sound_v in_o the_o ear_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o one_o be_v the_o cry_n of_o wickedness_n and_o sin_n and_o that_o be_v it_o the_o angel_n here_o speak_v his_o angel_n may_v know_v god_n right_a well_o know_v that_o the_o sin_n of_o sodom_n after_o his_o long_a patience_n &_o suffer_v be_v come_v to_o full_a ripeness_n but_o he_o send_v down_o his_o angel_n that_o not_o only_a abraham_n and_o loth_n but_o the_o whole_a world_n also_o by_o their_o punishment_n shall_v understand_v how_o grievous_a and_o detestable_a their_o sin_n be_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god._n and_o abraham_n draw_v near_o and_o say_v etc_n will_v thou_o also_o destroy_v the_o righteous_a etc_n etc_n the_o saint_n of_o god_n be_v always_o lover_n of_o mankind_n and_o be_v grieve_v to_o understand_v of_o the_o plague_n and_o punishment_n even_o of_o the_o wicked_a who_o with_o all_o their_o heart_n they_o will_v wish_v rather_o to_o live_v and_o repent_v than_o to_o die_v in_o their_o sin_n therefore_o abraham_n here_o understand_v by_o the_o angel_n that_o the_o visitation_n of_o sodom_n and_o those_o other_o city_n be_v at_o hand_n show_v himself_o very_o careful_a for_o they_o and_o as_o it_o be_v by_o the_o remembrance_n of_o those_o good_a and_o just_a man_n that_o may_v be_v in_o it_o do_v move_v god_n to_o have_v pity_n on_o they_o and_o to_o spare_v their_o plague_n good_a man_n do_v not_o quick_o despair_v of_o any_o seem_v they_o never_o so_o evil_a and_o therefore_o abraham_n think_v in_o so_o great_a a_o multitude_n that_o there_o must_v needs_o have_v be_v some_o mean_a number_n of_o good_a man_n for_o who_o cause_n god_n will_v extend_v his_o mercy_n also_o upon_o the_o other_o if_o there_o have_v be_v just_a man_n in_o sodom_n they_o must_v have_v be_v person_n uncircumcised_a and_o no_o partaker_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o this_o reverend_a patriarch_n be_v himself_o a_o just_a man_n circumcise_a of_o the_o assure_a covenant_n with_o god_n and_o the_o father_n of_o the_o faithful_a do_v not_o in_o respect_n of_o himself_o contemn_v such_o but_o make_v that_o account_n of_o they_o that_o if_o there_o have_v be_v such_o he_o will_v have_v god_n to_o have_v spare_v the_o wicked_a for_o their_o sake_n in_o abraham_n talk_v with_o god_n we_o see_v a_o certain_a strife_n between_o the_o charity_n and_o love_n that_o be_v in_o he_o towards_o the_o sodomire_v and_o the_o consideration_n of_o his_o own_o humbleness_n and_o unworthiness_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n his_o charity_n
