particular_n as_o shall_v be_v send_v into_o any_o foreign_a part_n as_o aforesaid_a to_o be_v there_o sell_v the_o charge_n whereof_o shall_v be_v allow_v and_o satisfy_v out_o of_o the_o improvement_n of_o the_o price_n of_o such_o particular_n above_o what_o they_o will_v yield_v if_o sell_v here_o and_o it_o be_v further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o humphrey_n jones_n and_o john_n hunt_v gentleman_n and_o citizen_n of_o london_n shall_v be_v and_o be_v hereby_o constitute_v and_o appoint_v treasurer_n for_o all_o and_o every_o such_o sum_n and_o sum_n of_o observe_v and_o perform_v and_o for_o their_o pain_n and_o charge_n therein_o and_o satisfaction_n of_o such_o clerk_n or_o other_o agent_n and_o assistant_n as_o they_o shall_v find_v needful_a to_o employ_v therein_o shall_v receive_v and_o have_v the_o allowance_n of_o two_o penny_n in_o the_o pound_n out_o of_o all_o and_o singular_a the_o money_n to_o be_v receive_v and_o account_v for_o by_o they_o as_o aforesaid_a which_o allowance_n it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o they_o out_o of_o the_o say_a money_n from_o time_n to_o time_n to_o detain_v and_o keep_v and_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v allow_v upon_o account_n and_o although_o most_o of_o the_o good_n and_o premise_n have_v be_v of_o old_a belong_v to_o the_o crown_n and_o not_o to_o the_o person_n of_o king_n queen_n or_o prince_n and_o now_o belong_v to_o this_o commonwealth_n the_o proceed_v upon_o the_o sale_n of_o they_o may_v just_o be_v dispose_v of_o for_o public_a use_n yet_o consider_v the_o many_o debt_n owe_v from_o the_o person_n of_o the_o say_a king_n and_o queen_n and_o from_o their_o say_a son_n contract_v before_o the_o late_a war_n and_o due_a unto_o divers_a person_n that_o be_v not_o delinquent_n but_o have_v constant_o adhere_v to_o the_o parliament_n and_o suffer_v for_o the_o same_o and_o many_o of_o they_o so_o necessitous_a as_o that_o their_o condition_n can_v bear_v the_o want_n of_o their_o say_a debt_n the_o parliament_n have_v think_v fit_a and_o do_v hereby_o ordain_v that_o the_o money_n to_o be_v raise_v by_o sale_n of_o the_o say_a good_n and_o premise_n shall_v be_v employ_v and_o dispose_v for_o and_o towards_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o debt_n aforemention_v and_o of_o such_o of_o they_o especial_o as_o be_v contract_v for_o necessary_a household_n expense_n which_o debt_n shall_v be_v pay_v out_o of_o the_o money_n to_o be_v raise_v as_o aforesaid_a as_o far_o as_o the_o same_o will_v go_v in_o such_o manner_n and_o by_o such_o proportion_n as_o by_o authority_n of_o parliament_n shall_v be_v hereafter_o direct_v provide_v always_o that_o the_o sum_n of_o thirty_o thousand_o pound_n out_o of_o the_o first_o money_n to_o be_v raise_v by_o such_o sale_n as_o upon_o the_o estate_n real_a and_o personal_a of_o every_o such_o offender_n respective_o which_o money_n so_o to_o be_v levy_v the_o say_a baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n be_v to_o cause_n to_o be_v and_o the_o say_a council_n of_o state_n be_v with_o all_o convenient_a speed_n to_o certify_v or_o make_v report_n to_o the_o parliament_n of_o such_o particular_n as_o they_o have_v so_o make_v choice_n of_o to_o be_v reserve_v as_o aforesaid_a to_o receive_v the_o approbation_n or_o disapprobation_n of_o the_o parliament_n thereupon_o and_o such_o of_o the_o say_a particular_n as_o the_o or_o levy_v for_o and_o as_o the_o value_n of_o any_o part_n or_o parcel_n of_o the_o premise_n which_o they_o shall_v find_v or_o discover_v to_o be_v conceal_v detain_v embezzle_v purloin_v or_o make_v away_o as_o aforesaid_a which_o allowance_n of_o seven_o penny_n per_fw-la pound_n shall_v be_v pay_v by_o the_o treasurer_n here_o after_o mention_v unto_o the_o say_a trustee_n or_o to_o such_o person_n or_o person_n as_o they_o or_o any_o five_o or_o more_o of_o they_o shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n appoint_v to_o receive_v the_o same_o for_o their_o use_n by_o warrant_n under_o the_o isle_n of_o jersey_n merchant_n john_n hale_v of_o london_n merchant_n clement_n kinnersley_n john_n price_n henry_n parr_n and_o william_n allen_n gentleman_n and_o citizen_n of_o london_n shall_v be_v and_o be_v hereby_o constitute_v and_o appoint_v commissioner_n and_o contractor_n for_o the_o sale_n of_o all_o and_o every_o the_o say_v good_n and_o premise_n whereof_o such_o duplicate_v of_o the_o inventory_v and_o apprizement_n thereof_o shall_v be_v certify_v and_o return_v to_o they_o from_o the_o say_a trustee_n as_o aforesaid_a except_o such_o parcel_n or_o particular_n thereof_o as_o shall_v be_v make_v choice_n of_o &_o approve_v as_o aforesaid_a to_o be_v reserve_v for_o the_o use_n of_o the_o state_n and_o the_o say_a contractor_n or_o any_o three_o or_o more_o of_o they_o be_v hereby_o entrust_v and_o authorize_v to_o sell_v all_o and_o singular_a the_o premise_n except_o before_o except_v according_a to_o their_o best_a skill_n and_o judgement_n to_o the_o best_a advantage_n for_o the_o commonwealth_n and_o for_o the_o use_n hereafter_o express_v and_o for_o that_o purpose_n cause_v public_a notice_n to_o be_v give_v by_o the_o space_n of_o one_o week_n beforehand_o or_o more_o of_o the_o time_n and_o place_n when_o and_o where_o they_o intend_v to_o begin_v to_o set_v to_o sale_n any_o part_n or_o parcel_n of_o the_o premise_n and_o of_o the_o several_a particular_n then_o and_o there_o to_o be_v sell_v they_o be_v according_o to_o proceed_v to_o the_o sale_n thereof_o and_o be_v hereby_o authorize_v to_o treat_v with_o any_o such_o person_n or_o person_n who_o shall_v appear_v willing_a to_o buy_v and_o to_o contract_n with_o he_o or_o they_o for_o every_o or_o any_o of_o the_o say_a particular_n so_o set_v to_o sale_n at_o the_o utmost_a price_n they_o can_v obtain_v for_o the_o same_o so_o as_o it_o fall_v not_o short_a of_o the_o apprizement_n make_v as_o aforesaid_a unless_o upon_o further_a for_o as_o aforesaid_a and_o of_o the_o buyer_n name_n and_o place_n of_o abode_n and_o the_o price_n agree_v upon_o respective_o and_o the_o say_a contractor_n be_v immediate_o upon_o the_o contract_n to_o cause_v a_o entry_n to_o be_v make_v in_o a_o book_n to_o be_v keep_v by_o their_o clerk-register_n for_o that_o purpose_n and_o to_o such_o entry_n the_o buyer_n to_o subscribe_v their_o name_n respective_o which_o entry_n and_o subscription_n shall_v make_v the_o bargain_n oblige_v on_o both_o part_n and_o for_o further_a assurance_n thereof_o to_o the_o buyer_n if_o it_o be_v by_o they_o insist_v on_o the_o say_a contractor_n or_o any_o three_o or_o more_o of_o they_o be_v to_o give_v a_o note_n under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n unto_o the_o several_a buyer_n respective_o express_v the_o particular_n by_o they_o buy_v and_o the_o price_n and_o upon_o and_o according_a to_o the_o entry_n make_v as_o aforesaid_a the_o say_a contractor_n or_o any_o three_o or_o more_o of_o they_o shall_v by_o write_v under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n from_o time_n to_o time_n certify_v unto_o the_o say_a trustee_n and_o to_o the_o treasurer_n hereafter_o mention_v several_o a_o account_n of_o the_o particular_n sell_v with_o the_o buyer_n name_n and_o price_n and_o day_n of_o sale_n respective_o and_o before_o delivery_n of_o any_o the_o particular_n sell_v unto_o the_o respective_a buyer_n the_o say_a contractor_n be_v to_o cause_v the_o full_a price_n or_o price_n agree_v upon_o for_o the_o same_o to_o be_v pay_v into_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o treasurer_n hereafter_o mention_v in_o this_o act_n unless_o they_o shall_v find_v cause_n to_o give_v day_n for_o part_n thereof_o in_o which_o case_n it_o be_v leave_v to_o they_o so_o to_o do_v so_o as_o that_o part_n exceed_v not_o the_o moiety_n of_o the_o full_a price_n and_o so_o as_o the_o day_n give_v exceed_v not_o two_o month_n and_o that_o sufficient_a security_n be_v take_v by_o they_o for_o the_o sum_n forbear_v and_o upon_o payment_n of_o the_o full_a price_n agree_v upon_o or_o of_o one_o moiety_n or_o more_o thereof_o and_o such_o security_n take_v as_o aforesaid_a for_o this_o act_n and_o in_o case_n any_o person_n or_o person_n who_o shall_v have_v bargain_v with_o the_o say_a contractor_n as_o aforesaid_a for_o any_o of_o the_o premise_n shall_v not_o within_o the_o space_n of_o one_o month_n after_o the_o contract_n make_v and_o enter_v as_o aforesaid_a effectual_o prosecute_v his_o or_o their_o bargain_n by_o pay_v the_o full_a price_n or_o one_o moiety_n thereof_o or_o more_o and_o give_v such_o security_n for_o the_o remainder_n as_o shall_v be_v insist_v on_o by_o the_o say_a contractor_n so_o as_o the_o default_n lie_v on_o the_o part_n of_o such_o buyer_n or_o buyer_n than_o every_o such_o buyer_n for_o such_o default_n shall_v incur_v the_o penalty_n and_o forfeiture_n of_o one_o four_o part_n of_o the_o sum_n of_o the_o price_n agree_v on_o which_o upon_o certificate_n of_o such_o default_n with_o the_o sum_n of_o the_o penalty_n from_o three_o or_o more_o of_o the_o say_a contractor_n under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n unto_o the_o baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n the_o say_a baron_n shall_v take_v order_n for_o the_o levy_n of_o the_o same_o to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n out_o of_o the_o estate_n real_a and_o personal_a of_o such_o defaulter_n or_o defaulter_n respective_o and_o every_o such_o defaulter_n shall_v also_o forfeit_v and_o lose_v the_o benefit_n of_o his_o say_a bargain_n and_o in_o such_o case_n after_o the_o space_n of_o seven_o day_n from_o the_o expiration_n of_o the_o say_v month_n space_n next_o ensue_v the_o contract_n and_o such_o default_n continue_v than_o the_o say_a contractor_n or_o any_o three_o or_o more_o of_o they_o may_v and_o shall_v proceed_v to_o a_o new_a sale_n of_o all_o and_o every_o such_o particular_n concern_v which_o such_o default_n be_v make_v unto_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n as_o if_o no_o sale_n thereof_o have_v before_o be_v make_v but_o whereas_o divers_a of_o the_o say_a good_n and_o premise_n be_v of_o such_o nature_n as_o that_o though_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o rarity_n or_o antiquity_n they_o may_v yield_v very_o great_a price_n in_o foreign_a part_n where_o such_o thing_n be_v much_o value_v yet_o for_o particular_a man_n use_n in_o england_n they_o will_v be_v account_v little_a worth_n and_o so_o yield_v no_o considerable_a price_n if_o they_o shall_v be_v forthwith_o sell_v here_o according_a to_o the_o forego_n direction_n it_o be_v therefore_o further_o enact_v and_o provide_v that_o for_o such_o particular_n of_o the_o premise_n as_o the_o say_a contractor_n shall_v find_v to_o be_v of_o that_o nature_n they_o or_o any_o three_o or_o more_o of_o they_o may_v treat_v and_o agree_v with_o any_o merchant_n adventurer_n or_o foreign_a merchant_n about_o transport_v such_o of_o the_o say_a good_n into_o any_o foreign_a part_n where_o they_o may_v be_v sell_v at_o the_o best_a rate_n and_o either_o by_o immediate_a sale_n thereof_o to_o such_o merchant_n to_o be_v by_o they_o transport_v and_o sell_v as_o their_o own_o in_o which_o case_n the_o contractor_n may_v give_v such_o day_n or_o day_n for_o payment_n as_o they_o shall_v find_v needful_a and_o convenient_a for_o the_o better_a improvement_n of_o the_o price_n or_o else_o by_o hire_v the_o transportation_n of_o such_o thing_n into_o foreign_a part_n where_o they_o may_v best_o sell_v &_o there_o procure_v they_o to_o be_v sell_v for_o this_o state_n the_o say_a contractor_n be_v leave_v to_o take_v the_o best_a course_n they_o can_v according_a to_o their_o best_a skill_n &_o judgement_n to_o sell_v such_o thing_n to_o the_o utmost_a advantage_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n although_o it_o be_v in_o a_o way_n differ_v from_o that_o which_o be_v before_o in_o general_a direct_v for_o other_o part_n of_o the_o premise_n any_o thing_n in_o this_o act_n contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o that_o no_o such_o particular_n of_o the_o premise_n be_v sell_v to_o merchant_n here_o or_o transport_v into_o other_o part_n to_o be_v sell_v at_o any_o rate_v low_a than_o by_o the_o aforesaid_a apprizement_n they_o be_v value_v at_o and_o so_o as_o the_o money_n for_o which_o they_o shall_v be_v so_o sell_v be_v pay_v with_o all_o possible_a expedition_n in_o to_o the_o same_o treasury_n hereafter_o mention_v for_o the_o use_n hereafter_o appoint_v and_o the_o say_a contractor_n or_o any_o three_o or_o more_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v and_o be_v hereby_o authorize_v to_o choose_v and_o appoint_v a_o clerk-register_n and_o such_o other_o officer_n or_o agent_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a and_o find_v needful_a for_o the_o better_a discharge_n of_o the_o trust_n and_o dispatch_v of_o the_o service_n hereby_o commit_v to_o they_o and_o for_o their_o own_o and_o
