construction_n and_o purpose_n in_o the_o law_n against_o the_o offender_n or_o offender_n his_o heir_n executor_n administrator_n and_o assign_v and_o such_o child_n and_o person_n as_o shall_v be_v subject_a to_o this_o statute_n and_o against_o all_o other_o person_n and_o person_n claim_v by_o from_z or_o under_o such_o offender_n or_o offender_n or_o such_o say_v other_o person_n to_o who_o such_o conveyance_n shall_v be_v make_v by_o the_o say_v bankrupt_a or_o by_o his_o mean_n or_o procurement_n and_o for_o that_o the_o practice_n of_o bankrupt_n of_o late_a be_v so_o secret_a and_o so_o subtle_a as_o that_o they_o can_v very_o hardly_o be_v find_v out_o or_o bring_v to_o light_v and_o for_o that_o the_o former_a statute_n give_v power_n to_o the_o commissioner_n to_o examine_v other_o than_o the_o bankrupt_n have_v not_o full_o or_o sufficient_o authorize_v they_o to_o examine_v the_o say_v bankrupt_a upon_o oath_n for_o remedy_n whereof_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o the_o say_a commissioner_n may_v call_v before_o they_o or_o the_o great_a part_n of_o they_o the_o say_v bankrupt_a and_o if_o upon_o lawful_a warning_n leave_v or_o make_v in_o write_v at_o three_o several_a time_n at_o the_o dwell_a place_n or_o house_n where_o the_o say_v bankrupt_a his_o wife_n or_o family_n for_o the_o most_o her_z or_o they_o to_o appear_v before_o they_o upon_o the_o say_a commission_n at_o some_o time_n appoint_v and_o that_o if_o upon_o the_o five_o several_a proclamation_n make_v in_o some_o public_a in_o place_n privilege_v or_o not_o to_o be_v examine_v by_o the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o the_o great_a part_n of_o they_o and_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o the_o great_a part_n of_o they_o to_o examine_v the_o say_a offender_n or_o offender_n upon_o such_o interrogatory_n touch_v the_o land_n tenement_n good_n chattel_n debt_n bill_n bond_n book_n of_o account_n and_o such_o other_o thing_n as_o may_v tend_v to_o disclose_v he_o her_z or_o their_o estate_n or_o the_o secret_a grant_n conveyance_n and_o eloyve_n of_o his_o or_o their_o land_n tenement_n good_n money_n and_o debt_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v meet_a and_o that_o if_o therein_o the_o offender_n or_o offender_n shall_v refuse_v to_o be_v examine_v or_o to_o answer_v full_o offend_v shall_v or_o may_v thereof_o be_v indict_v in_o any_o of_o the_o king_n majesty_n court_n of_o record_n and_o be_v lawful_o convict_v thereof_o shall_v stand_v upon_o the_o pillory_n in_o some_o public_a place_n by_o the_o space_n of_o two_o hour_n and_o have_v one_o of_o his_o ear_n nail_v to_o the_o pillory_n and_o cut_v off_o and_o
