be_v empty_v and_o his_o will_n and_o his_o mind_n be_v empty_v and_o his_o conscience_n be_v empty_v till_o all_o other_o form_n be_v void_v out_o and_o he_o begin_v to_o be_v make_v poor_a and_o nothing_o in_o himself_o till_o every_o room_n in_o the_o soul_n be_v naked_a and_o empty_a there_o be_v never_o a_o room_n for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n to_o come_v into_o the_o soul_n the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v a_o great_a thing_n and_o will_v take_v up_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o room_n where_o it_o come_v therefore_o the_o heart_n and_o the_o mind_n and_o the_o will_n and_o the_o affection_n must_v be_v empty_v the_o soul_n must_v be_v rid_v and_o void_a of_o all_o other_o thing_n or_o else_o there_o be_v no_o room_n for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n as_o our_o saviour_n say_v have_v of_o himself_o he_o will_v never_o come_v to_o christ_n it_o be_v plenty_n that_o bring_v down_o the_o market_n and_o scarcity_n that_o make_v it_o rise_v plentiful_a year_n will_v make_v corn_n of_o no_o price_n almost_o but_o if_o there_o be_v famine_n and_o scarcity_n and_o no_o bread_n almost_o to_o be_v have_v but_o man_n be_v ready_a to_o die_v for_o hunger_n than_o they_o will_v give_v any_o thing_n they_o will_v give_v ten_o shilling_n a_o bushel_n twenty_o nay_o forty_o shilling_n have_v be_v give_v for_o a_o bushel_n of_o corn_n as_o i_o have_v read_v in_o chronicle_n it_o be_v poverty_n that_o make_v man_n come_v to_o a_o price_n so_o must_v the_o heart_n be_v pinch_v with_o spiritual_a poverty_n else_o it_o will_v not_o come_v to_o christ_n man_n will_v give_v nothing_o for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n they_o will_v not_o part_v with_o a_o single_a groat_n for_o christ_n the_o profane_a gallant_n will_v not_o part_v with_o a_o lock_n for_o christ_n the_o proud_a vain_a fool_n will_v not_o part_v with_o a_o foolish_a lace_n a_o foolish_a fashion_n for_o christ_n the_o drunkard_n will_v not_o forego_v a_o pot_n for_o christ_n man_n will_v not_o part_v with_o any_o thing_n for_o christ_n they_o will_v not_o part_v with_o a_o paltry_a lust_n or_o base_a affection_n for_o christ_n people_n will_v not_o stir_v they_o will_v not_o open_v their_o purse_n they_o will_v not_o open_v their_o heart_n to_o give_v any_o thing_n for_o christ_n the_o reason_n be_v their_o heart_n be_v full_a already_o people_z count_v their_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n and_o lust_n and_o vanity_n and_o delight_n their_o jewel_n a_o man_n must_v be_v poor_a before_o he_o will_v part_v with_o his_o jewel_n but_o if_o a_o man_n be_v thorough_o pinch_v with_o poverty_n he_o will_v part_v with_o his_o old_a gold_n and_o ring_n and_o jewel_n and_o all_o but_o he_o will_v never_o part_v with_o his_o jewel_n till_o he_o be_v force_v to_o it_o by_o extremity_n so_o all_o the_o lust_n of_o the_o heart_n all_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n that_o the_o mind_n and_o affection_n run_v upon_o man_n account_v they_o their_o jewel_n and_o they_o will_v not_o part_v with_o
