know_v not_o ourselves_o or_o know_v not_o what_o this_o love_n mean_v else_o we_o shall_v all_o of_o we_o easy_o subscribe_v to_o this_o 2._o that_o he_o will_v be_v at_o such_o a_o price_n for_o such_o for_o alas_o brethren_n 〈◊〉_d who_o will_v lay_v down_o his_o life_n almost_o for_o the_o cho_n cest_fw-fr of_o person_n though_o some_o in_o a_o agony_n of_o passion_n and_o discontent_n have_v make_v themselves_o away_o for_o they_o they_o have_v dote_v upon_o yet_o here_o be_v some_o proportion_n between_o the_o person_n love_v and_o love_v yea_o happy_o the_o person_n love_v may_v worm_n save_v from_o death_n and_o be_v his_o near_a relation_n for_o ever_o o_o do_v not_o this_o transcend_v the_o love_n of_o angel_n brethren_n alas_o what_o be_v this_o to_o what_o jesus_n believe_v not_o what_o he_o say_v that_o it_o be_v in_o reality_n it_o will_v not_o enter_v into_o her_o heart_n to_o think_v he_o be_v real_a he_o be_v so_o far_o above_o she_o though_o he_o tell_v she_o he_o know_v that_o be_v sensible_a of_o it_o yet_o make_v love_n to_o she_o mere_o because_o he_o will_v and_o his_o heart_n be_v towards_o she_o not_o for_o any_o thing_n in_o herself_o she_o believe_v not_o or_o else_o that_o she_o be_v a_o desperate_a enemy_n and_o hater_n of_o such_o a_o nobleman_n and_o will_v rather_o perish_v there_o or_o languish_v in_o such_o a_o condition_n as_o a_o abject_a then_o accept_v of_o he_o o_o this_o be_v the_o condition_n of_o many_o of_o we_o brethren_n some_o poor_a deject_a dunbelieve_a soul_n alas_o their_o heart_n even_o fail_v within_o they_o to_o hear_v that_o j._n christ_n shall_v make_v love_n to_o they_o o_o it_o can_v be_v sure_a to_o such_o a_o worm_n such_o a_o wretch_n so_o poor_a so_o filthy_a so_o full_a of_o rag_n &_o vermin_n so_o full_a of_o sore_n and_o wound_n full_a deep_o indebt_v so_o deform_v and_o loathsome_a every_o way_n o_o they_o know_v not_o how_o to_o receive_v this_o other_o they_o be_v even_o stout_a and_o proud_a and_o care_v no_o more_o for_o these_o thing_n then_o if_o jesus_n christ_n have_v say_v nothing_o at_o all_o as_o for_o they_o they_o be_v well_o enough_o if_o he_o will_v let_v they_o alone_o they_o desire_v not_o to_o mend_v their_o condition_n by_o close_v with_o he_o now_o brethren_n to_o both_o these_o how_o do_v the_o lord_n jesus_n apply_v himself_o never_o be_v there_o more_o powerful_a argument_n use_v and_o never_o more_o powerful_o press_v than_o he_o press_v they_o and_o that_o with_o more_o diligence_n and_o patient_a wait_v upon_o we_o and_o o_o what_o love_n what_o manner_n of_o love_n be_v this_o that_o all_o this_o flow_v from_o a_o little_a to_o touch_v upou_fw-mi each_o of_o they_o brethren_z happy_o the_o lord_n may_v be_v please_v to_o brethren_n if_o you_o be_v willing_a to_o have_v he_o sure_o you_o will_v make_v more_o after_o he_o than_o you_o do_v many_o of_o you_o he_o may_v go_v whither_o he_o will_v you_o never_o miss_v he_o primary_o as_o the_o fountain_n well_o then_o labour_n to_o fall_v in_o love_n with_o his_o person_n to_o see_v some_o excellency_n in_o christ_n that_o you_o apprehend_v not_o before_o o_o when_o the_o soul_n have_v his_o beauty_n loveliness_n to_o know_v he_o that_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o godhead_n be_v in_o he_o that_o he_o be_v the_o express_a image_n or_o character_n of_o his_o thou_o because_o thou_o find_v it_o not_o in_o so_o full_a a_o measure_n as_o thou_o will_v what_o will_v more_o grieve_v he_o then_o this_o what_o can_v he_o have_v do_v more_o than_o he_o have_v do_v to_o manifest_v his_o willingness_n to_o receive_v all_o that_o come_v to_o he_o that_o be_v make_v willing_a through_o grace_n to_o receive_v he_o you_o have_v his_o promise_n which_o usual_o among_o honest_a man_n be_v as_o good_a as_o their_o bond_n and_o we_o build_v upon_o it_o and_o what_o do_v you_o make_v of_o jesus_n christ_n

yield_v up_o to_o sleep_v and_o be_v against_o they_o who_o will_v awake_v he_o out_o of_o it_o rather_o than_o against_o himself_o for_o sleep_v and_o though_o a_o child_n of_o god_n that_o be_v but_o outward_a they_o have_v somewhat_o alive_a within_o the_o seed_n of_o god_n abide_v within_o they_o which_o keep_v they_o from_o such_o a_o deadly_a sleep_n hypocrite_n can_v sleep_v no_o further_o than_o 9_o they_o be_v awake_v before_o and_o that_o they_o do_v usual_o altogether_o now_o their_o heart_n be_v never_o awake_v thorough_o but_o the_o child_n of_o god_n do_v not_o sleep_v so_o far_o as_o he_o be_v awake_v that_o be_v to_o say_v all_o that_o be_v awake_v do_v not_o fall_v asleep_o again_o second_o another_o difference_n may_v be_v this_o the_o one_o sleep_v not_o their_o authority_n so_o it_o be_v in_o this_o case_n sin_n and_o satan_n will_v not_o be_v see_v haply_o in_o the_o business_n they_o know_v if_o it_o shall_v appear_v to_o a_o sinner_n he_o be_v it_o be_v such_o a_o mercy_n to_o be_v deliver_v from_o it_o be_v it_o a_o favour_n to_o be_v put_v into_o golden_a fetter_n suppose_v the_o law_n to_o be_v good_a and_o holy_a yet_o since_o it_o be_v as_o we_o may_v say_v gin_n and_o fetter_n and_o bolt_n though_o of_o gold_n to_o hold_v the_o poor_a soul_n in_o to_o keep_v he_o in_o and_o up_o as_o in_o a_o prison_n be_v this_o so_o good_a then_o to_o this_o i_o answer_v it_o be_v true_a by_o the_o law_n be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o sin_n i_o have_v not_o know_v lust_n except_o the_o law_n have_v say_v thou_o shall_v not_o covet_v whether_o in_o the_o last_o command_n or_o in_o each_o command_n now_o i_o will_v not_o dispute_v but_o the_o first_o motion_n thought_n rise_n and_o bubbling_n of_o corruption_n i_o have_v not_o know_v they_o and_o wrath_n and_o ruin_n and_o so_o it_o be_v still_o to_o every_o unbelieve_a creature_n who_o be_v under_o it_o as_o to_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o divine_a justice_n by_o suffering_n that_o be_v to_o say_v under_o the_o curse_n though_o as_o a_o covenant_n of_o life_n none_o be_v under_o it_o since_o adam_n for_o i_o conceive_v it_o be_v not_o give_v for_o that_o end_n but_o under_o it_o as_o to_o satisfaction_n of_o divine_a justice_n they_o be_v now_o i_o say_v it_o be_v terrible_a to_o such_o but_o when_o the_o lion_n be_v kill_v by_o our_o samson_n there_o be_v sweetness_n in_o it_o while_o he_o see_v no_o mixture_n of_o mercy_n and_o love_n and_o yet_o with_o foelix_n tremble_v or_o as_o they_o at_o the_o deliverance_n of_o the_o law_n when_o god_n reveal_v himself_o in_o so_o terrible_a a_o manner_n tremble_v can_v not_o endure_v the_o sight_n now_o a_o man_n under_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n he_o endeavour_v to_o do_v what_o he_o do_v upon_o this_o ground_n because_o of_o terror_n but_o a_o child_n of_o god_n he_o have_v a_o principle_n of_o love_n it_o be_v mercy_n it_o be_v love_n it_o be_v tenderness_n in_o jesus_n that_o set_v he_o a_o go_v terror_n indeed_o do_v amaze_v and_o astonish_v and_o fright_v he_o out_o of_o himself_o but_o it_o be_v love_n in_o jesus_n christ_n that_o set_v his_o soul_n a_o work_n to_o do_v his_o will_n yet_o so_o brethren_n as_o that_o you_o must_v know_v there_o be_v not_o all_o fear_n banish_v out_o of_o the_o soul_n but_o that_o we_o may_v the_o better_a understand_v it_o let_v we_o consider_v 〈◊〉_d a_o little_a distinct_o first_o there_o be_v to_o be_v a_o reverend_a fear_n of_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n in_o all_o his_o people_n let_v we_o serve_v he_o with_o reverence_n and_o godly_a fear_n say_v ult_n there_o ought_v to_o be_v o_o serve_v the_o lord_n 20._o with_o fear_n and_o rejoice_v with_o tremble_a fear_v not_o say_v moses_n for_o god_n be_v come_v to_o prove_v you_o and_o that_o his_o fear_n may_v be_v before_o your_o face_n fear_v not_o that_o be_v to_o say_v be_v not_o dismay_v astonish_v god_n be_v come_v now_o to_o give_v a_o rule_n of_o obedience_n that_o you_o may_v serve_v he_o with_o reverence_n holy_a fear_n and_o tremble_a second_o there_o aught_o to_o be_v a_o fear_n of_o offend_a god_n as_o 5._o a_o son_n his_o father_n though_o he_o be_v sure_a never_o to_o be_v
