filthiness_n and_o wean_a ourselves_o by_o degree_n from_o this_o earthly_a body_n and_o all_o sensual_a pleasure_n and_o delight_n we_o shall_v begin_v in_o this_o life_n to_o loosen_v and_o untie_v the_o knot_n between_o our_o soul_n and_o this_o mortal_a flesh_n to_o refine_v our_o affection_n and_o raise_v they_o from_o thing_n below_o to_o thing_n above_o to_o take_v off_o our_o heart_n and_o invisible_a that_o so_o our_o soul_n when_o they_o be_v separate_v from_o this_o earthly_a body_n may_v be_v prepare_v and_o dispose_v to_o actuate_v and_o inform_v a_o pure_a and_o spiritual_a one_o as_o have_v before_o hand_n taste_v and_o relish_v spiritual_a delight_n and_o pleasure_n and_o be_v in_o some_o degree_n acquaint_v with_o those_o object_n which_o shall_v then_o be_v present_v to_o we_o a_o soul_n whole_o immerse_v and_o bury_v in_o this_o earthly_a body_n be_v not_o at_o all_o fit_a and_o qualify_v

of_o sickness_n and_o restore_v sight_n to_o the_o blind_a and_o foot_n to_o the_o lame_a can_v we_o instruct_v the_o ignorant_a reprove_v the_o profane_a admonish_v the_o err_a with_o so_o much_o ease_n advantage_n and_o authority_n as_o our_o bless_a lord_n do_v we_o shall_v then_o perhaps_o be_v very_o free_a and_o liberal_a in_o impart_v those_o great_a favour_n and_o blessing_n heaven_n have_v so_o signal_o bestow_v upon_o we_o for_o the_o good_a and_o benefit_n of_o other_o but_o alas_o as_o thing_n now_o stand_v with_o we_o we_o have_v neither_o power_n nor_o skill_n nor_o mean_n time_n will_v sure_o short_o come_v when_o you_o shall_v consider_v they_o whether_o you_o will_v or_o no_o when_o your_o sin_n shall_v set_v themselves_o in_o order_n before_o you_o and_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o your_o power_n to_o forget_v they_o or_o to_o divert_v your_o thought_n from_o those_o thing_n which_o you_o be_v now_o so_o loath_a to_o think_v upon_o here_o indeed_o in_o this_o life_n the_o thought_n of_o god_n and_o a_o future_a state_n often_o present_a and_o offer_v themselves_o to_o we_o they_o often_o spring_v up_o in_o our_o mind_n and_o when_o expel_v recur_v again_o but_o man_n find_v out_o several_a way_n and_o artifices_fw-la whereby_o to_o hinder_v their_o fix_v or_o abide_v upon_o their_o spirit_n or_o at_o all_o influence_a their_o life_n but_o the_o time_n will_v come_v when_o we_o shall_v be_v force_v to_o bring_v our_o evil_a way_n to_o remembrance_n and_o yet_o then_o consideration_n will_v do_v we_o no_o good_a nor_o serve_v to_o any_o other_o purpose_n but_o only_o to_o aggravate_v our_o misery_n and_o double_a our_o torment_n this_o be_v the_o first_o most_o general_a hindrance_n of_o repentance_n want_v of_o consideration_n ii_o another_o hindrance_n of_o repentance_n be_v the_o unsuccesfulness_n of_o some_o former_a attempt_n for_o when_o man_n have_v resolve_v and_o perhaps_o begin_v to_o reform_v but_o have_v soon_o find_v all_o their_o good_a purpose_n and_o endeavour_n blast_v and_o defeat_v they_o be_v apt_a to_o be_v thereby_o discourage_v from_o make_v any_o far_a trial_n they_o have_v long_o have_v it_o in_o the_o
