thy_o body_n thou_o be_v in_o the_o world_n in_o the_o property_n and_o with_o thy_o reason_n under_o the_o cross_n of_o our_o lord_n christ_n but_o with_o thy_o will_n thou_o walk_v in_o heaven_n and_o be_v at_o the_o end_n from_o whence_o all_o creature_n be_v proceed_v and_o to_o which_o they_o go_v again_o and_o then_o thou_o may_v behold_v all_o thing_n outward_o with_o reason_n and_o inward_o with_o the_o mind_n and_o rule_v in_o all_o thing_n and_o over_o all_o thing_n with_o christ_n to_o who_o all_o power_n be_v give_v both_o in_o heaven_n and_o on_o earth_n the_o scholar_n 10._o o_o master_n the_o creature_n that_o live_v in_o i_o withhold_v i_o that_o i_o can_v whole_o yield_v and_o give_v up_o myself_o as_o i_o willing_o will_v the_o master_n if_o thy_o will_n go_v forth_o from_o the_o creature_n than_o the_o creature_n be_v forsake_v in_o thou_o they_o be_v in_o the_o world_n and_o thy_o body_n only_o be_v with_o the_o creature_n but_o spiritual_o thou_o walk_v with_o god_n and_o if_o thy_o will_n leave_v the_o creature_n than_o the_o creature_n be_v dead_a in_o it_o and_o live_v only_o in_o the_o body_n in_o the_o world_n and_o if_o thy_o will_n do_v not_o bring_v itself_o into_o they_o they_o can_v touch_v the_o soul_n for_o st._n paul_n say_v our_o conversation_n be_v in_o heaven_n also_o you_o be_v the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n who_o go_v into_o the_o creature_n than_o thou_o have_v break_v off_o thyself_o from_o he_o and_o then_o thou_o can_v not_o any_o other_o way_n keep_v thyself_o but_o by_o abide_v continual_o in_o resign_v humility_n and_o enter_v into_o continual_a repentance_n so_o that_o thou_o be_v always_o grieve_v that_o creature_n live_v in_o thou_o if_o thou_o do_v thus_o thou_o stand_v in_o a_o daily_o die_v from_o the_o creature_n and_o in_o a_o daily_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n in_o thy_o will_n the_o scholar_n 12._o o_o love_a master_n pray_v teach_v i_o temptation_n how_o i_o may_v come_v into_o such_o a_o continual_a repentance_n the_o master_n when_o thou_o leave_v that_o which_o love_v thou_o and_o love_v that_o which_o hate_v thou_o then_o thou_o may_v abide_v continual_o in_o repentance_n the_o scholar_n 13._o what_o be_v that_o which_o i_o must_v thus_o leave_v the_o master_n thy_o creature_n in_o flesh_n and_o blood_n and_o all_o other_o thing_n that_o love_v thou_o love_v thou_o because_o thy_o will_n preserve_v entertain_v they_o the_o will_n must_v leave_v they_o and_o account_v they_o enemy_n and_o the_o cross_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n with_o the_o reproach_n of_o the_o world_n hate_v thou_o which_o thou_o must_v learn_v to_o love_n and_o take_v for_o a_o daily_a exercîse_n of_o thy_o repentance_n and_o then_o thou_o shall_v have_v continual_a cause_n to_o hate_v thyself_o in_o the_o creature_n and_o to_o seek_v the_o eternal_a rest_n wherein_o thy_o will_n may_v rest_v as_o christ_n say_v in_o i_o you_o have_v rest_n but_o in_o the_o world_n you_o have_v anxiety_n the_o scholar_n 14._o how_o may_v i_o recover_v in_o such_o a_o temptation_n as_o this_o the_o master_n if_o every_o hour_n thou_o do_v once_o throw_v thyself_o beyond_o all_o creature_n above_o all_o sensual_a reason_n into_o the_o mere_a mercy_n of_o god_n into_o the_o suffering_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o yield_a thyself_o thereinto_o than_o thou_o shall_v receive_v power_n to_o rule_v over_o sin_n death_n and_o the_o devil_n over_o hell_n &_o the_o world_n and_o then_o thou_o may_v subsist_v in_o all_o temptation_n the_o scholar_n 15._o poor_a man_n that_o i_o be_o what_o will_v become_v of_o i_o if_o i_o shall_v att●ine_v with_o my_o mind_n to_o that_o where_o no_o creature_n be_v the_o master_n his_o master_n say_v to_o he_o very_o kind_o love_v scholar_n if_o it_o be_v that_o thy_o will_n can_v break_v off_o itself_o for_o one_o hour_n from_o all_o creature_n and_o throw_v itself_o into_o that_o where_o no_o creature_n be_v it_o will_v be_v over-cloathed_n with_o the_o high_a splendour_n of_o god_n glory_n and_o will_v taste_v in_o itself_o the_o most_o sweet_a love_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n which_o no_o man_n can_v express_v and_o it_o will_v find_v in_o itself_o the_o unspeakable_a word_n of_o our_o lord_n concern_v his_o great_a mercy_n it_o will_v feel_v in_o itself_o that_o the_o cross_n of_o our_o lord_n christ_n will_v be_v very_o please_v to_o it_o and_o it_o will_v love_v that_o more_o than_o the_o honour_n and_o good_n of_o the_o world_n the_o scholar_n 16._o but_o what_o will_v become_v of_o the_o body_n since_o it_o must_v live_v in_o the_o creature_n the_o master_n the_o body_n will_v be_v put_v into_o the_o imitation_n of_o our_o lord_n christ_n who_o say_v his_o kingdom_n be_v
