in_o the_o church_n who_o ear_n hear_v often_o of_o this_o from_o the_o mouth_n of_o their_o minister_n that_o they_o must_v repent_v and_o so_o they_o know_v the_o name_n of_o it_o but_o understand_v nothing_o of_o the_o nature_n of_o it_o none_o of_o the_o doctrine_n but_o they_o think_v and_o be_v so_o delude_v by_o satan_n and_o their_o own_o selfelove_n and_o natural_a reason_n that_o have_v once_o the_o sight_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o their_o conscience_n convince_v out_o of_o god_n word_n if_o they_o do_v but_o in_o some_o general_a term_n confess_v that_o they_o be_v all_o sinner_n and_o desire_v god_n after_o a_o formal_a manner_n to_o have_v mercy_n upon_o they_o if_o they_o can_v sometime_o strain_v from_o they_o a_o break_a sigh_n and_o be_v content_a to_o leave_v some_o of_o their_o less_o please_a sin_n though_o they_o never_o know_v what_o the_o turn_n of_o the_o whole_a man_n mean_v what_o it_o be_v to_o mortify_v one_o member_n or_o to_o be_v renew_v in_o any_o part_n inward_a or_o outward_a neither_o have_v experience_n of_o any_o such_o thing_n in_o themselves_o as_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o true_a repentance_n i_o say_v if_o upon_o these_o sleight_n and_o small_a performance_n they_o shall_v not_o be_v accept_v of_o god_n and_o man_n as_o good_a repentant_n they_o will_v quarrel_v as_o those_o hypocrite_n of_o who_o the_o prophet_n esay_n speak_v 58.3_o esay_n 58.3_o who_o say_v wherefore_o have_v we_o fast_v and_o thou_o see_v it_o not_o we_o have_v punish_v ourselves_o and_o thou_o regard_v it_o not_o etc._n etc._n but_o he_o will_v answer_v they_o that_o he_o can_v away_o with_o their_o sick_a and_o blind_a and_o lame_a sacrifice_n 1.6.7.8_o malac._n 1.6.7.8_o though_o they_o say_v they_o be_v not_o evil_a yet_o he_o account_v they_o but_o the_o pollution_n and_o despise_v of_o his_o name_n 2._o use_v 2._o 2._o if_o knowledge_n of_o repentance_n be_v so_o necessary_a unto_o repentance_n as_o without_o which_o a_o man_n can_v repent_v then_o if_o there_o be_v any_o desire_n of_o this_o duty_n in_o any_o man_n he_o must_v endeavour_n to_o remove_v this_o first_o let_v and_o impediment_n for_o this_o be_v in_o he_o will_v not_o only_o hinder_v he_o from_o the_o speedy_a do_v of_o it_o as_o fetter_n may_v hinder_v the_o speed_n of_o the_o swift_a but_o make_v he_o he_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o do_v it_o as_o no_o man_n can_v exercise_v any_o art_n that_o understand_v not_o the_o principle_n &_o nature_n of_o it_o though_o some_o think_v a_o man_n may_v understand_v the_o nature_n of_o a_o art_n and_o teach_v it_o other_o yet_o never_o be_v able_a to_o practice_v it_o himself_o as_o they_o say_v a_o man_n may_v know_v music_n and_o be_v able_a to_o teach_v other_o and_o yet_o be_v never_o able_a to_o play_v himself_o yet_o sure_o it_o be_v he_o that_o do_v not_o know_v this_o can_v act_v
