to_o instill_v religion_n into_o the_o heart_n and_o head_n of_o the_o child_n but_o it_o be_v god_n only_o that_o can_v give_v the_o increase_n it_o be_v he_o only_o that_o can_v give_v the_o hear_n ear_n and_o the_o see_a eye_n and_o the_o understanding_n and_o ponder_a heart_n and_o as_o god_n only_o can_v so_o he_o will_v give_v these_o thing_n to_o those_o that_o pray_v for_o they_o for_o he_o have_v promise_v that_o he_o will_v give_v his_o spirit_n to_o those_o that_o ask_v it_o wisdom_n to_o those_o that_o seek_v it_o of_o he_o and_o his_o grace_n to_o those_o that_o be_v willing_a to_o lay_v hold_n of_o it_o but_o then_o to_o these_o prayer_n for_o wisdom_n it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o the_o scholar_n of_o this_o house_n and_o all_o other_o student_n to_o join_v their_o own_o endeavour_n for_o in_o the_o appointment_n of_o god_n our_o prayer_n and_o our_o industry_n ought_v to_o go_v together_o neither_o of_o these_o single_a but_o both_o joint_o have_v the_o promise_n grandmother_n lois_fw-fr and_o his_o mother_n eunice_n and_o through_o their_o pious_a instruction_n in_o he_o also_o 1_o tim._n 1._o 5_o 6._o and_o he_o may_v be_v a_o excellent_a pattern_n to_o the_o scholar_n of_o this_o house_n both_o for_o his_o early_a and_o continue_a piety_n for_o here_o they_o have_v those_o seed_n of_o knowledge_n and_o virtue_n and_o religion_n which_o if_o not_o choke_v may_v produce_v a_o happy_a harvest_n hereafter_o here_o they_o have_v those_o instruction_n when_o child_n which_o may_v make_v they_o the_o more_o useful_a to_o their_o generation_n when_o man_n at_o school_n they_o learn_v those_o useful_a part_n of_o christian_a knowledge_n which_o may_v make_v they_o the_o better_a divine_n and_o the_o better_a trade_n man_n and_o the_o better_a citizen_n when_o god_n in_o his_o good_a providence_n shall_v call_v they_o forth_o to_o any_o of_o these_o useful_a and_o commendable_a vocation_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v their_o duty_n and_o their_o interest_n to_o build_v upon_o so_o good_a a_o foundation_n the_o superstructure_n of_o a_o virtuous_a and_o industrious_a and_o religious_a life_n and_o not_o to_o relapse_n into_o vice_n after_o so_o many_o opportunity_n for_o the_o confirm_v they_o in_o religion_n and_o virtue_n for_o it_o
