of_o god_n saint_n one_o of_o the_o spiritual_a family_n one_o of_o our_o fellow_n member_n in_o this_o then_o examine_v thyself_o how_o it_o be_v with_o thou_o when_o thou_o hear_v of_o any_o of_o the_o faithful_a that_o be_v take_v away_o be_v thou_o grieve_v for_o it_o do_v thou_o lament_v and_o mourn_v for_o it_o if_o thou_o do_v not_o sure_o thou_o be_v no_o true_a christian_n for_o the_o child_n of_o god_n can_v choose_v but_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n and_o lament_v when_o any_o of_o the_o righteous_a be_v take_v from_o among_o they_o as_o israel_n lament_v the_o death_n of_o samuel_n shall_v any_o one_o then_o think_v it_o a_o curse_n to_o be_v take_v away_o betimes_o in_o his_o young_a year_n nay_o happy_a be_v he_o that_o be_v take_v away_o from_o these_o miserable_a and_o fearful_a time_n wherein_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n for_o our_o sin_n hang_v over_o our_o head_n and_o be_v ready_a every_o day_n to_o seize_v upon_o we_o second_o see_v that_o god_n when_o he_o mean_v to_o bring_v any_o heavy_a judgement_n upon_o a_o people_n do_v ordinary_o take_v away_o the_o righteous_a from_o the_o evil_a to_o come_v this_o show_n that_o when_o the_o righteous_a be_v take_v from_o among_o we_o we_o be_v certain_o to_o expect_v some_o judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o we_o for_o these_o be_v they_o which_o stand_v in_o the_o gap_n and_o keep_v off_o the_o fire_n of_o god_n wrath_n from_o we_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o consume_v we_o but_o now_o be_v go_v we_o lie_v open_a to_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o when_o any_o righteous_a man_n be_v take_v from_o we_o the_o loss_n of_o they_o ought_v to_o drive_v we_o to_o repentance_n lest_o god_n judgement_n come_v present_o upon_o we_o and_o consume_v we_o therefore_o we_o must_v forsake_v our_o sin_n and_o evil_a way_n and_o perform_v new_a obedience_n unto_o god_n so_o will_v he_o be_v merciful_a unto_o we_o yea_o he_o will_v be_v a_o shield_n of_o defence_n unto_o we_o and_o a_o wall_n of_o fire_n about_o we_o and_o he_o will_v turn_v away_o his_o judgement_n from_o we_o belove_a in_o the_o lord_n we_o be_v here_o assemble_v to_o perform_v this_o last_o christian_a duty_n of_o burial_n to_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n now_o decease_v who_o soul_n i_o be_o as_o certain_o persuade_v be_v at_o rest_n with_o christ_n in_o glory_n as_o i_o be_o sure_a his_o body_n be_v in_o this_o coffin_n when_o i_o consider_v those_o excellent_a grace_n that_o be_v in_o he_o his_o great_a knowledge_n in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n his_o love_n zeal_n patience_n and_o humility_n when_o i_o consider_v his_o excellent_a gift_n in_o comfort_v exhort_v admonish_a with_o his_o heavenly_a gift_n of_o prayer_n etc._n etc._n and_o withal_o consider_v that_o he_o be_v unlettered_a he_o can_v neither_o write_v nor_o read_v i_o can_v but_o call_v to_o mind_n that_o in_o the_o acts._n 4._o 13._o where_o it_o be_v say_v of_o the_o priest_n and_o pharisees_n that_o they_o see_v the_o boldness_n of_o the_o apostle_n how_o they_o answer_v and_o speak_v perceive_v they_o to_o be_v unlearned_a and_o ignorant_a man_n they_o know_v that_o they_o have_v be_v with_o jesus_n even_o so_o
