well_o as_o that_o for_o repentance_n be_v a_o turn_n to_o god_n as_o well_o as_o prayer_n and_o if_o we_o say_v he_o exhort_v they_o to_o the_o duty_n of_o repentance_n it_o seem_v otherwise_o for_o conversion_n be_v but_o half_a the_o work_n of_o repentance_n repentance_n consist_v of_o two_o act_n there_o be_v two_o part_n of_o it_o the_o first_o part_n of_o it_o be_v contrition_n or_o humiliation_n that_o be_v the_o penal_a or_o passive_a part_n of_o repentance_n the_o second_o part_n only_o be_v conversion_n or_o reform_v of_o our_o way_n and_o that_o be_v the_o active_a part_n it_o seem_v therefore_o it_o be_v not_o mean_v of_o repentance_n because_o that_o be_v but_o half_n again_o if_o we_o say_v he_o exhort_v to_o conversion_n that_o imply_v but_o half_a repentance_n for_o conversion_n it_o imply_v a_o turn_n from_o sin_n before_o we_o can_v turn_v to_o god_n therefore_o the_o best_a course_n will_v be_v to_o take_v in_o all_o these_o humiliation_n as_o the_o first_o thing_n in_o repentance_n and_o aversion_n from_o sin_n as_o that_o that_o always_o accompany_v true_a humiliation_n and_o turn_v to_o god_n by_o prayer_n and_o supplication_n as_o that_o part_n of_o repentance_n which_o be_v the_o last_o in_o act_n but_o the_o first_o in_o intent_n we_o may_v well_o take_v they_o in_o all_o for_o the_o scripture_n allow_v we_o this_o liberty_n the_o
