whereof_o you_o be_v now_o ashamed_a and_o they_o if_o they_o will_v answer_v true_o can_v answer_v nothing_o but_o that_o grief_n misery_n and_o confusion_n have_v be_v the_o fruit_n of_o they_o habit_n which_o god_n give_v by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n whereby_o he_o raise_v facilitate_v perfect_v and_o crown_v those_o virtue_n which_o be_v there_o begin_v and_o bring_v they_o to_o a_o high_a and_o heroical_a perfection_n the_o reason_n upon_o which_o i_o ground_n myself_o be_v that_o those_o virtue_n though_o they_o be_v serviceable_a for_o the_o exercise_n of_o grace_n yet_o they_o be_v excellent_a than_o those_o virtue_n wherewith_o man_n begin_v and_o go_v on_o in_o it_o at_o the_o first_o and_o these_o grow_v from_o they_o into_o a_o fruit_n which_o by_o and_o through_o their_o his_o covetousness_n and_o i_o see_v liberal_a abel_n save_v because_o he_o frank_o offer_v to_o god_n of_o the_o fruit_n of_o his_o flock_n from_o hence_o i_o must_v necessary_o think_v that_o he_o who_o deny_v or_o grudge_n to_o bestow_v part_n of_o those_o good_n in_o the_o service_n of_o god_n which_o he_o receive_v from_o he_o be_v go_v in_o the_o broad_a path_n of_o destruction_n but_o he_o that_o give_v cheerful_o and_o bountiful_o to_o the_o poor_a and_o by_o return_v that_o part_n acknowledge_v that_o he_o have_v receive_v all_o from_o a_o more_o liberal_a hand_n be_v go_v in_o the_o right_n and_o certain_a way_n to_o heaven_n where_o he_o shall_v receive_v a_o hundred_o fold_n and_o be_v eternal_o crown_v in_o short_a i_o see_v nothing_o else_o in_o the_o scripture_n but_o example_n of_o the_o good_a that_o be_v save_v and_o of_o the_o wicked_a that_o be_v damn_v and_o that_o the_o gift_n of_o final_a perseverance_n be_v give_v by_o god_n to_o those_o at_o their_o one_o of_o those_o strange_a wonder_n that_o concur_v at_o the_o crucify_a of_o our_o saviour_n it_o be_v like_o the_o tremble_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o cleaving_n of_o the_o rock_n like_o the_o tear_n of_o the_o veil_n of_o the_o temple_n and_o the_o dead_a break_n out_o of_o their_o sepulcher_n to_o return_v to_o life_n like_o the_o darken_n of_o the_o sun_n and_o the_o disturbance_n of_o the_o whole_a frame_n of_o nature_n among_o these_o and_o other_o prodigy_n that_o great_a wonder_n may_v just_o be_v reckon_v that_o he_o shall_v die_v a_o saint_n who_o have_v be_v a_o thief_n during_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o his_o life_n till_o that_o moment_n and_o observe_v that_o though_o there_o be_v many_o grave_n that_o open_v and_o many_o that_o arise_v from_o the_o dead_a many_o rock_n that_o be_v cleave_v many_o light_n that_o be_v darken_v and_o many_o sign_n that_o manifest_v the_o power_n and_o efficacy_n of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n there_o be_v but_o one_o of_o a_o conversion_n at_o the_o last_o gasp_n and_o though_o the_o lord_n jesus_n have_v another_o thief_n as_o near_o he_o to_o who_o he_o may_v have_v show_v the_o same_o mercy_n yet_o he_o suffer_v he_o to_o die_v in_o his_o impenitency_n and_o to_o go_v to_o the_o devil_n the_o very_a word_n which_o jesus_n speak_v when_o he_o save_v the_o good_a thief_n do_v contain_v a_o warning_n that_o no_o man_n may_v venture_v to_o delay_v his_o repentance_n till_o his_o death_n for_o he_o say_v very_o very_o i_o say_v unto_o thou_o this_o day_n shall_v thou_o be_v with_o i_o in_o repentance_n till_o their_o death_n no_o that_o be_v no_o easy_a matter_n but_o i_o will_v now_o at_o this_o time_n make_v that_o easy_a for_o thou_o which_o else_o do_v seem_v impossible_a as_o if_o he_o have_v limit_v that_o grace_n then_o unto_o that_o soul_n because_o it_o depart_v from_o his_o body_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o his_o die_a saviour_n i_o say_v unto_o thou_o now_o for_o as_o for_o other_o i_o shall_v see_v hereafter_o how_o i_o shall_v deal_v with_o they_o this_o day_n that_o be_v this_o day_n of_o so_o great_a mercy_n this_o day_n a_o day_n of_o so_o many_o prodigy_n this_o
