endless_a comfort_n in_o his_o kingdom_n and_o in_o his_o glory_n in_o the_o same_o sense_n as_o st._n john_n do_v 1_o joh._n 3.2_o we_o know_v that_o when_o christ_n shall_v appear_v we_o shall_v be_v like_o he_o for_o we_o shall_v see_v he_o as_o he_o be_v most_o false_a therefore_o it_o be_v which_o mr._n d._n say_v to_o see_v god_n and_o to_o inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v godly_a now_o this_o comfort_n also_o mr._n d._n deny_v they_o faith_n they_o confer_v p._n 9_o i_o do_v say_v he_o for_o the_o present_n believe_v that_o st._n john_n do_v principal_o speak_v of_o our_o assurance_n whereby_o we_o know_v one_o another_o to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o conf._n p._n 8._o he_o tell_v we_o that_o it_o be_v before_o man_n that_o our_o love_n bear_v witness_n to_o our_o faith_n for_o he_o say_v that_o st._n john_n meaning_n be_v not_o that_o a_o man_n may_v know_v by_o his_o love_n to_o the_o brethren_n that_o he_o himself_o particular_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n but_o that_o the_o faithful_a in_o general_n by_o mean_n of_o the_o love_n which_o they_o profess_v and_o show_v one_o to_o another_o be_v well_o persuade_v one_o of_o another_o and_o believe_v by_o the_o judgement_n of_o charity_n that_o they_o be_v all_o the_o child_n of_o god_n but_o this_o exposition_n of_o he_o cross_v the_o main_a scope_n and_o drift_n or_o the_o purpose_n and_o intention_n of_o the_o apostle_n in_o write_v this_o epistle_n which_o be_v to_o comfort_v the_o faithful_a by_o show_v they_o what_o sign_n and_o token_n and_o particular_a evidence_n they_o have_v of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o of_o their_o salvation_n by_o christ_n for_o so_o he_o say_v chap._n 5.13_o these_o thing_n have_v i_o write_v unto_o you_o whereof_o
