and_o fidelity_n and_o justice_n to_o be_v very_o rigid_a in_o matter_n of_o faith_n and_o opinion_n but_o loose_a in_o life_n and_o practice_n no_o the_o resolution_n of_o a_o sincere_a penitent_n must_v be_v universal_a and_o uniform_a it_o must_v extend_v alike_o to_o the_o forbear_n of_o all_o sin_n and_o the_o exercise_n of_o every_o grace_n and_o virtue_n and_o to_o the_o due_a practice_n and_o performance_n of_o every_o part_n of_o our_o duty_n the_o true_a penitent_n must_v resolve_v for_o the_o future_a to_o abstain_v from_o all_o sin_n to_o be_v holy_a in_o all_o manner_n of_o conversation_n and_o to_o abound_v in_o all_o the_o fruit_n of_o righteousness_n which_o by_o jesus_n christ_n be_v to_o the_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n for_o if_o a_o man_n do_v true_o damnable_a to_o commit_v adultery_n and_o to_o steal_v as_o well_o as_o to_o kill_v and_o that_o resolution_n against_o sin_n which_o be_v not_o universal_a it_o be_v a_o plain_a case_n that_o it_o
be_v not_o true_a and_o sincere_a and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o take_v up_o out_o of_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o intrinsical_a evil_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o danger_n of_o it_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n and_o the_o judgement_n of_o another_o world_n for_o this_o reason_n hold_v against_o every_o sin_n and_o remain_v always_o the_o same_o but_o that_o it_o be_v take_v up_o upon_o some_o inferior_a consideration_n either_o because_o of_o the_o shame_n and_o infamy_n of_o it_o among_o man_n or_o because_o of_o some_o other_o temporal_a inconvenience_n which_o if_o the_o man_n can_v be_v secure_v and_o powerful_a reason_n and_o consideration_n why_o he_o shall_v rather_o put_v this_o good_a resolution_n in_o present_a execution_n than_o put_v it_o off_o and_o defer_v it_o to_o any_o far_a
