communication_n of_o his_o mercy_n in_o another_o way_n than_o through_o any_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n the_o duty_n of_o his_o worship_n be_v the_o chief_a channel_n that_o god_n do_v let_v out_o the_o choice_a of_o his_o mercy_n to_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o people_n through_o and_o now_o i_o be_o go_v to_o worship_v he_o i_o be_o go_v to_o present_v myself_o fore_o god_n indeed_o there_o be_v a_o little_a glimmer_n of_o the_o light_n of_o god_n through_o other_o creature_n to_o i_o but_o the_o glorious_a beam_n of_o the_o light_n of_o god_n be_v through_o the_o duty_n of_o his_o worship_n 3._o and_o then_o three_o i_o be_o now_o go_v to_o act_v my_o soul_n upon_o god_n so_o that_o if_o i_o have_v any_o ability_n to_o close_v with_o god_n to_o act_v my_o soul_n upon_o he_o it_o must_v be_v put_v forth_o now_o at_o this_o time_n i_o be_o indeed_o at_o all_o time_n to_o labour_n to_o enjoy_v communion_n with_o god_n when_o i_o see_v the_o creature_n the_o sun_n moon_n and_o star_n to_o labour_v to_o lift_v up_o my_o heart_n to_o god_n and_o when_o i_o see_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n in_o the_o sea_n and_o for_o my_o meat_n and_o drink_n i_o be_o to_o bless_v god_n and_o to_o acknowledge_v god_n in_o all_o but_o when_o i_o come_v to_o worship_n god_n than_o all_o the_o strength_n of_o my_o soul_n be_v to_o be_v act_v upon_o god_n in_o a_o more_o special_a presence_n we_o know_v how_o it_o be_v with_o adam_n when_o god_n appear_v in_o the_o garden_n and_o call_v to_o he_o he_o run_v to_o hide_v himself_o why_o because_o he_o have_v guiltiness_n upon_o he_o oh_o the_o evil_a that_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n bring_v upon_o the_o soul_n it_o make_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n terrible_a the_o presence_n of_o god_n it_o shall_v be_v more_o comfortable_a to_o we_o than_o our_o life_n but_o our_o sin_n make_v god_n presence_n grievous_a and_o terrible_a a_o child_n sometime_o when_o it_o have_v offend_v the_o father_n and_o be_v conscious_a to_o its_o self_n of_o the_o offence_n that_o it_o have_v give_v the_o father_n it_o have_v rather_o be_v in_o the_o kitchen_n among_o the_o servant_n than_o to_o come_v into_o the_o hall_n or_o parlour_n where_o the_o father_n be_v because_o it_o have_v offend_v he_o and_o so_o it_o be_v with_o a_o guilty_a conscience_n when_o it_o be_v conscious_a to_o its_o self_n of_o some_o haunt_n of_o evil_n that_o it_o have_v give_v itself_o unto_o it_o have_v no_o mind_n at_o all_o of_o come_v into_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o father_n but_o hang_v off_o my_o brethren_n the_o very_a presence_n of_o this_o work_v first_o it_o shall_v make_v i_o come_v joyful_o into_o his_o presence_n as_o a_o god_n that_o be_v willing_a to_o do_v good_a to_o his_o poor_a creature_n that_o be_v in_o misery_n if_o you_o come_v to_o ask_v a_o great_a matter_n they_o will_v look_v askew_o upon_o you_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v the_o great_a the_o thing_n be_v that_o we_o come_v to_o god_n for_o the_o more_o welcome_a be_v we_o into_o god_n presence_n and_o those_o that_o be_v acquaint_v with_o god_n they_o know_v it_o and_o therefore_o they_o come_v the_o more_o full_o when_o they_o come_v to_o ask_v jesus_n christ_n himself_o and_o his_o spirit_n that_o be_v more_o worth_a than_o ten_o thousand_o world_n they_o come_v with_o more_o freedom_n of_o spirit_n than_o when_o they_o come_v to_o ask_v their_o health_n and_o the_o like_a four_o it_o will_v be_v likewise_o another_o mean_n of_o sanctify_v this_o attribute_n of_o god_n when_o thou_o come_v to_o he_o if_o thou_o do_v come_v with_o a_o that_o may_v hinder_v the_o work_n of_o his_o grace_n upon_o i_o 11._o consider_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n that_o be_v another_o attribute_n consider_v that_o thou_o have_v to_o deal_v with_o a_o infinite_a righteous_a and_o just_a god_n do_v not_o think_v that_o if_o thou_o be_v a_o believer_n that_o thou_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v with_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n for_o certain_o thou_o be_v to_o sanctify_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n now_o you_o will_v say_v how_o shall_v a_o believer_n sanctify_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n thus_o first_o he_o shall_v be_v apprehensive_a and_o sensible_a how_o by_o sin_n he_o have_v put_v himself_o under_o justice_n and_o deserve_v the_o stroke_n of_o justice_n to_o be_v upon_o he_o to_o eternity_n he_o shall_v consider_v what_o he_o be_v in_o himself_o it_o be_v true_a that_o jesus_n christ_n have_v come_v between_o a_o believe_a soul_n and_o the_o justice_n of_o the_o father_n and_o have_v take_v the_o stroke_n of_o justice_n upon_o himself_o yea_o but_o though_o he_o have_v do_v it_o it_o do_v not_o hinder_v but_o that_o thou_o shall_v be_v apprehensive_a of_o what_o thou_o have_v deserve_v thyself_o second_o here_o be_v a_o special_a thing_n in_o the_o sanctify_a of_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n when_o we_o come_v before_o he_o we_o shall_v consider_v that_o we_o have_v to_o deal_v with_o a_o infinite_a just_a god_n and_o therefore_o not_o to_o dare_v to_o come_v but_o through_o a_o mediator_n here_o you_o have_v the_o reason_n why_o we_o must_v tender_v up_o all_o in_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n christ_n because_o when_o we_o be_v to_o come_v before_o god_n we_o be_v to_o sanctify_v the_o name_n of_o his_o justice_n for_o thou_o to_o think_v thus_o i_o have_v sin_v and_o god_n be_v merciful_a and_o i_o will_v go_v and_o pray_v to_o he_o that_o he_o may_v be_v merciful_a and_o there_o be_v a_o end_n be_v this_o all_o oh_o no_o god_n require_v the_o sanctify_a of_o his_o justice_n and_o there_o be_v nothing_o that_o do_v sanctify_v his_o justice_n so_o much_o as_o this_o that_o when_o a_o poor_a creature_n see_v the_o infinite_a distance_n that_o sin_n have_v make_v between_o that_o infinite_a god_n and_o it_o it_o see_v that_o though_o sin_n it_o have_v make_v its_o self_n liable_a to_o justice_n and_o when_o it_o see_v that_o there_o be_v a_o absolute_a necessity_n that_o infinite_a will_v pray_v than_o it_o seem_v that_o the_o main_a matter_n of_o your_o prayer_n be_v only_o for_o yourselves_o but_o how_o have_v the_o matter_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o great_a god_n and_o the_o good_a of_o the_o church_n take_v your_o heart_n all_o this_o while_n how_o have_v your_o heart_n be_v affect_v with_o this_o that_o the_o name_n of_o god_n have_v be_v so_o little_o sanctify_v in_o the_o world_n and_o that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n have_v not_o come_v and_o that_o the_o will_n of_o god_n have_v not_o be_v do_v have_v these_o thing_n take_v up_o your_o heart_n in_o prayer_n the_o matter_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o good_a of_o church_n though_o yourselves_o have_v not_o any_o particular_a interest_n in_o they_o if_o these_o thing_n do_v but_o take_v up_o your_o heart_n in_o prayer_n then_o when_o you_o be_v at_o sea_n you_o will_v remember_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o church_n as_o much_o as_o yourselves_o the_o church_n be_v as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o sea_n toss_v up_o and_o down_o and_o in_o a_o great_a storm_n now_o why_o do_v not_o you_o pray_v as_o earnest_o for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n among_o his_o church_n as_o for_o yourselves_o when_o you_o be_v in_o a_o storm_n at_o sea_n yea_o and_o spiritual_a thing_n shall_v be_v the_o chief_a matter_n of_o your_o prayer_n for_o they_o be_v the_o near_a to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n though_o god_n have_v his_o glory_n from_o other_o thing_n yet_o spiritual_a thing_n be_v near_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n now_o in_o these_o day_n of_o prayer_n many_o will_v come_v to_o pray_v that_o they_o may_v be_v free_v from_o danger_n that_o they_o may_v have_v outward_a peace_n this_o be_v good_a but_o spiritual_a thing_n be_v the_o chief_a thing_n and_o be_v according_a to_o thy_o will_n then_o restore_v i_o to_o the_o health_n of_o my_o body_n or_o the_o health_n of_o my_o husband_n or_o the_o health_n of_o my_o wife_n but_o thou_o may_v pray_v lord_n convert_v the_o soul_n of_o my_o husband_n or_o the_o soul_n of_o my_o wife_n without_o any_o condition_n at_o all_o when_o your_o estate_n at_o sea_n be_v in_o danger_n when_o you_o pray_v for_o they_o you_o must_v make_v condition_n lord_n as_o thou_o see_v best_a for_o i_o so_o do_v thou_o deal_v with_o i_o this_o show_v the_o excellency_n that_o there_o be_v in_o spiritual_a thing_n way_n then_o comparative_o thus_o lord_n rather_o let_v i_o have_v any_o afffiction_n than_o sin_n rather_o let_v i_o suffer_v loss_n of_o my_o estate_n than_o sin_n against_o thou_o than_o depart_v from_o thou_o any_o thing_n lord_n rather_o than_o sin_n thus_o you_o may_v pray_v for_o affliction_n but_o not_o absolute_o you_o must_v not_o pray_v that_o god_n will_v send_v you_o affliction_n absolute_o for_o you_o do_v not_o know_v your_o heart_n it_o may_v be_v if_o affliction_n shall_v come_v your_o heart_n may_v be_v as_o stubborn_a under_o your_o affliction_n as_o they_o be_v now_o be_v a_o most_o wicked_a thing_n to_o wish_v evil_a to_o other_o in_o way_n of_o prayer_n yet_o how_o many_o do_v so_o though_o it_o may_v be_v they_o do_v not_o think_v it_o they_o speak_v to_o god_n and_o desire_v he_o to_o bring_v such_o and_o such_o evil_n upon_o their_o neighbour_n yea_o sometime_o parent_n upon_o their_o child_n this_o be_v a_o wicked_a practice_n of_o man_n what_o be_v it_o not_o wickedness_n enough_o for_o thou_o to_o have_v any_o desire_n that_o there_o shall_v any_o evil_a befall_v thy_o brother_n but_o will_v thou_o dare_v to_o presume_v to_o call_v god_n to_o be_v a_o instrument_n of_o the_o execution_n of_o thy_o base_a sinful_a wrath_n that_o god_n must_v be_v a_o drudge_n as_o it_o be_v to_o thy_o wrath_n and_o to_o thy_o passion_n this_o be_v abominable_a
