but_o to_o be_v convince_v that_o all_o that_o
man_n in_o their_o obedience_n of_o the_o law_n as_o to_o place_v their_o acceptance_n in_o it_o add_v to_o this_o the_o reason_n of_o it_o why_o the_o heart_n of_o all_o the_o son_n and_o daughter_n have_v his_o nature_n make_v perfect_o holy_a then_o be_v quite_o undo_v in_o himself_o and_o come_v to_o have_v all_o his_o righteousness_n in_o another_o in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o here_o it_o be_v that_o most_o soul_n stick_v in_o the_o come_n off_o their_o own_o bottom_n to_o be_v justify_v in_o jesus_n christ_n in_o a_o word_n man_n have_v rather_o do_v any_o thing_n then_o come_v a_o poor_a destitute_a sinner_n to_o jesus_n christ_n for_o all_o 4._o because_o it_o be_v not_o suitable_a to_o the_o light_n of_o natural_a reason_n that_o a_o soul_n shall_v satisfy_v god_n or_o become_v righteous_a any_o other_o way_n then_o by_o his_o own_o endeavour_n to_o be_v righteous_a in_o another_o be_v of_o divine_a revelation_n which_o till_o a_o soul_n have_v he_o can_v let_v go_v the_o principle_n of_o self-justification_n the_o next_o thing_n to_o be_v consider_v will_v be_v this_o if_o all_o man_n be_v under_o the_o law_n and_o the_o curse_n of_o it_o under_o the_o guilt_n of_o the_o whole_a law_n without_o all_o excuse_n before_o god_n under_o a_o impossibility_n of_o attain_v righteousness_n or_o acceptance_n with_o god_n by_o the_o best_a keep_v of_o the_o law_n and_o yet_o a_o natural_a and_o strong_a aptitude_n to_o rest_v upon_o the_o law_n and_o that_o a_o soul_n may_v reform_v and_o take_v up_o be_v strict_a in_o obedience_n and_o yet_o still_o be_v under_o get_v their_o part_n in_o it_o you_o have_v hear_v the_o case_n of_o a_o sinner_n condemn_v by_o the_o law_n liable_a to_o eternal_a death_n subject_n to_o the_o rigour_n of_o divine_a justice_n no_o way_n able_a or_o in_o a_o capacity_n to_o make_v satisfaction_n to_o god_n mercy_n as_o it_o be_v bind_v up_o by_o justice_n oh_o therefore_o what_o necessity_n of_o a_o mediator_n of_o a_o redeemer_n to_o work_v forth_o deliverance_n to_o lay_v down_o a_o ransom_n for_o sinner_n die_v and_o undergo_v the_o curse_n and_o wrath_n of_o the_o great_a and_o dreadful_a god_n fulfil_v the_o law_n make_v satisfaction_n to_o the_o wrong_a justice_n of_o god_n to_o the_o utmost_a this_o jesus_n christ_n have_v do_v for_o miserable_a sinner_n that_o will_v come_v to_o he_o now_o the_o most_o of_o poor_a soul_n have_v but_o a_o notion_n of_o christ_n die_v but_o know_v not_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o christ_n die_v for_o i_o though_o sometime_o in_o their_o mouth_n oh_o sinner_n for_o christ_n to_o die_v for_o thou_o if_o thou_o get_v a_o part_n in_o his_o death_n be_v to_o undergo_v the_o punishment_n and_o curse_n and_o death_n that_o thy_o soul_n be_v liable_a to_o which_o otherwise_o must_v have_v come_v upon_o thou_o to_o the_o utmost_a it_o be_v to_o be_v make_v sin_n and_o curse_v for_o thou_o to_o bear_v thy_o sin_n and_o stand_v in_o they_o oh_o that_o thou_o can_v real_o be_v convince_v of_o the_o necessity_n of_o this_o redemption_n that_o thou_o can_v never_o come_v to_o god_n without_o it_o and_o therefore_o to_o get_v thy_o poor_a soul_n state_v in_o it_o 3._o if_o satisfaction_n to_o god_n justice_n can_v only_o be_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n then_o let_v i_o again_o press_v you_o that_o you_o take_v heed_n of_o perform_v your_o duty_n and_o repenting_n as_o if_o thereby_o you_o do_v satisfy_v and_o pacify_v god_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o your_o soul_n this_o be_v the_o most_o dangerous_a snare_n upon_o poor_a soul_n that_o though_o they_o have_v sin_v yet_o they_o hope_v god_n will_v be_v pacify_v with_o some_o pray_v and_o sorrow_v and_o amendment_n now_o though_o this_o shall_v be_v in_o a_o spiritual_a manner_n upon_o every_o pardon_a sinner_n and_o it_o be_v a_o capacity_n god_n put_v the_o sinner_n into_o when_o he_o apply_v the_o death_n of_o his_o son_n and_o so_o give_v out_o mercy_n and_o pardon_n yet_o you_o must_v most_o careful_o take_v heed_n that_o you_o offer_v not_o up_o such_o duty_n as_o if_o they_o do_v make_v god_n amends_o and_o pacify_v he_o for_o your_o sin_n but_o look_v above_o and_o beyond_o they_o as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o and_o so_o to_o cast_v your_o eye_n to_o the_o great_a sacrifice_n of_o the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n which_o alone_o make_v atonement_n to_o god_n and_o make_v way_n for_o a_o poor_a sinner_n to_o come_v to_o he_o 4._o that_o as_o sinner_n will_v learn_v the_o bless_a mystery_n of_o
from_o that_o which_o be_v call_v in_o appearance_n a_o legal-new-creature_n etc._n etc._n now_o let_v a_o soul_n fail_v in_o either_o of_o these_o and_o lose_v for_o ever_o fail_v of_o a_o saving-cloze_a with_o jesus_n christ_n for_o righteousness_n or_o be_v a_o new_a creature_n in_o christ_n and_o you_o perish_v in_o your_o sin_n and_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n will_v overtake_v you_o i_o shall_v not_o now_o take_v up_o time_n in_o open_v the_o coherence_n of_o the_o word_n nor_o will_v it_o much_o be_v desire_v as_o to_o our_o design_n i_o shall_v therefore_o draw_v this_o plain_a conclusion_n from_o they_o namely_o observe_v there_o be_v a_o absolute_a necessity_n in_o order_n to_o the_o salvation_n of_o every_o soul_n to_o become_v a_o new_a creature_n in_o christ_n have_v prove_v it_o we_o shall_v open_v the_o way_n of_o be_v a_o new-creature_n and_o how_o in_o christ_n then_o how_o distinguish_v from_o a_o appear_a new-creature_n but_o not_o so_o indeed_o and_o so_o give_v forth_o the_o evidence_n of_o it_o those_o scripture_n that_o speak_v of_o the_o necessity_n of_o be_v bear_v again_o of_o the_o spirit_n joh._n 3.3_o 5._o and_o of_o be_v convert_v mal._n 18.3_o do_v evince_n the_o same_o truth_n gal._n 6.15_o neither_o circumcision_n nor_o uncircumcision_n avail_v any_o thing_n but_o a_o new_a creature_n for_o we_o be_v his_o work-manship_a create_v
