last_o objection_n i_o shall_v mention_v be_v this_o god_n be_v a_o god_n of_o mercy_n in_o he_o be_v bowel_n of_o mercy_n yea_o a_o sea_n a_o ocean_n of_o mercy_n he_o love_v mercy_n he_o delight_v in_o mercy_n and_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o show_v mercy_n to_o poor_a sinner_n when_o they_o be_v even_o at_o the_o last_o cast_v when_o there_o be_v but_o a_o short_a stride_n between_o they_o and_o the_o grave_n between_o they_o and_o eternity_n as_o we_o see_v in_o his_o extend_v mercy_n to_o the_o thief_n and_o in_o his_o give_v a_o pardon_n into_o his_o hand_n and_o the_o assurance_n of_o paradise_n into_o his_o bosom_n when_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o be_v turn_v off_o the_o ladder_n of_o life_n and_o therefore_o i_o may_v spend_v the_o primrose_n of_o my_o day_n in_o follow_a sin_n and_o the_o delight_n profit_n vanity_n and_o content_n of_o this_o world_n and_o at_o last_o cast_v i_o may_v have_v mercy_n as_o well_o as_o the_o thief_n god_n be_v a_o god_n make_v up_o of_o mercy_n and_o sure_o he_o will_v not_o deny_v some_o crumb_n of_o mercy_n to_o a_o poor_a sinner_n in_o misery_n etc._n etc._n now_o to_o this_o objection_n i_o shall_v give_v these_o follow_a from_o he_o and_o the_o pour_v out_o of_o all_o his_o displeasure_n and_o vengeance_n upon_o he_o zaleucus_n the_o locrensian_a lawgiver_n 5_o valerius_n lib._n 6._o cap._n 5_o thrust_v out_o one_o of_o his_o own_o son_n eye_n for_o his_o transgress_v of_o a_o wholesome_a law_n which_o he_o have_v enact_v but_o god_n the_o father_n thrust_v out_o both_o christ_n eye_n for_o our_o transgress_v of_o his_o royal_a law_n oh_o the_o justice_n &_o severity_n of_o god_n but_o second_o i_o answer_v that_o there_o be_v not_o a_o great_a evidence_n of_o blindness_n profaneness_n hardheartedness_n spiritual_a madness_n and_o hellish_a desperateness_n in_o all_o the_o world_n than_o to_o make_v that_o a_o argument_n a_o encouragement_n to_o sin_n viz._n the_o mercy_n of_o god_n which_o shall_v be_v the_o great_a argument_n under_o heaven_n to_o keep_v a_o man_n from_o sin_n as_o all_o know_v that_o have_v but_o read_v the_o scripture_n neither_o be_v there_o any_o sinner_n in_o the_o world_n that_o god_n delight_v to_o rain_v hell_n out_o of_o heaven_n upon_o 14_o read_v isa_n 22_o 12_o 13_o 14_o 15_o and_o ezek._n 24.11_o 12_o 13_o 14_o as_o upon_o such_o who_o by_o their_o abuse_n of_o mercy_n turn_v the_o god_n of_o mercy_n into_o a_o god_n of_o cl●●ts_n and_o go_v on_o out-daring_a justice_n itself_o deut._n 29.19_o 20._o and_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v when_o he_o
