entertain_v and_o hold_v fast_o such_o thought_n of_o god_n as_o these_o that_o though_o he_o do_v not_o willing_o afflict_v the_o son_n of_o man_n yet_o he_o have_v a_o secret_a delight_n or_o pleasure_n in_o their_o endless_a and_o eternal_a ruin_n and_o misery_n must_v turn_v their_o reason_n out_o of_o the_o door_n of_o their_o soul_n that_o they_o may_v keep_v their_o unreasonable_a groundless_a and_o absurd_a opinion_n in_o possession_n but_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o that_o such_o as_o consent_v not_o to_o wholesome_a word_n even_o the_o word_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n they_o be_v fool_n know_v nothing_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o know_v but_o dote_v about_o question_n and_o strife_n of_o word_n whereof_o come_v envy_n strife_n rail_n evil_a surmising_n etc._n etc._n and_o he_o therefore_o thus_o counsel_n from_o such_o withdraw_v thyself_o 1_o tim._n 6._o 3_o 4_o 5._o 8._o and_o last_o it_o also_o appear_v and_o be_v hereby_o evidence_v that_o the_o lord_n god_n have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o the_o death_n of_o the_o wicked_a by_o the_o affliction_n and_o judgement_n which_o he_o now_o execute_v and_o infflict_v upon_o they_o for_o though_o he_o do_v not_o willing_o afflict_v as_o have_v be_v say_v before_o yet_o he_o do_v afflict_v very_o he_o be_v a_o god_n that_o judge_v in_o the_o earth_n he_o form_v the_o light_n and_o create_v darkness_n he_o make_v peace_n and_o create_v evil_a to_o wit_n evil_a of_o affliction_n and_o judgement_n isa_n 45._o 7._o amos._n 3._o 8._o and_o this_o do_v evince_n and_o evidence_n to_o we_o that_o he_o have_v no_o delight_n in_o their_o destruction_n in_o that_o he_o make_v use_v of_o such_o method_n for_o their_o amendment_n as_o be_v strange_a and_o grievous_a to_o he_o which_o will_v yet_o further_o also_o appear_v if_o we_o due_o consider_v these_o two_o thing_n namely_o 1._o the_o reason_n or_o motive_n of_o his_o afflict_a and_o judge_v they_o and_o that_o be_v his_o love_n and_o merciful_a kindness_n towards_o they_o towards_o their_o immortal_a soul_n indeed_o we_o be_v apt_a to_o look_v upon_o affliction_n as_o token_n and_o testimony_n of_o his_o hatred_n towards_o we_o but_o in_o so_o do_v we_o judge_v according_a to_o outward_a appearance_n and_o do_v not_o judge_v righteous_a judgement_n for_o his_o love_n move_v he_o to_o correct_v we_o when_o our_o need_n require_v it_o and_o so_o it_o do_v towards_o the_o righteous_a and_o his_o try_v they_o be_v oppose_v to_o his_o hatred_n psal_n 11._o 5._o hence_o the_o apostle_n say_v my_o son_n despise_v not_o
